Slechte schoonmaak: de lakens van de vorige klant lagen op de kledingkast, de doucheafvoer zat los en was vies, de keukenkastjes waren oud en opgezwollen en er zaten etensresten op het keukengerei.

Een beetje ver weg en een grote heuvel op waar je weer vanaf moet, maar prachtige locatie. Genoeg ligbedden. Avondentertainment en ontbijtbuffet waren warm en aangenaam.

Het is een hotel gericht op massatoerisme... en dat levert goede resultaten op, dus alles was prima geregeld voor de gasten. Er kunnen zich wel eens kleine problemen voordoen voor individuele gasten in zo'n omgeving... Zoals het parkeren van onze huurauto, wat 's nachts wat lastig was vanwege het gebrek aan parkeerplaatsen. Ach ja... We hebben desondanks een prettig verblijf gehad.

We have wanted to stay at AxelBeach for a while. People told us it's just an expensive old hotel, but because of the name it stays busy. Well, unfortunately that is the case. The rooms look like they haven't been updated for 50 years. The TV is old and the wires behind it were frayed so badly it didn't have a signal. And the mattresses are so thin and uncomfortable I woke up yesterday with pain shooting down my lower back and legs. There's no excuse for cheap pillows and mattresses if you're going to charge this much. And we had a suite!
It's like they're happy taking the *** $ but not meeting our expectations with that money. Other places to stay are much nicer. But on a positive note, the staff are absolutely incredible. They were always so friendly and helpful. I just wish that we had a better experience with the rooms.

Rekening houdend met het feit dat we niet in het etablis*****t konden verblijven dat we hadden geboekt vanwege problemen met de airconditioning van het hotel, meen ik me te herinneren dat ze ons hebben verplaatst naar een veel beter etablis*****t met uitzonderlijke diensten, zowel wat betreft het hotel als het personeel.

Hard rock is a big hotel so the bus stop is in front of is. However the bed got too soft because of heavy use. Hotel breakfast is on point, there are a lot of guests but still many choices of selection available.

Paradise in the Parador on ElHierro. Lovely modern hotel in quiet location. I have been travelling on foot and bus on ElHierro for 2 weeks. This is the best Hotel on the Island.

The hotel is close to the sea with beautiful scenery. It has its own swimming pool where you can swim every day. I went at the end of December. The outdoor pool has a heating function, so you can swim comfortably.

GGuest UserLovely hotel at a very good location. Modern, nicely decorated for Christmas. Polite staff, good choice for breakfast and dinner. Christmas dinner was something out of this world( been to many hotels, but Xmas dinner now will be hard to match). Not sure if it is always like this but we were the youngest in the hotel(43&47)during the first part of holidays and only later some other younger people joined us. The average age was 60's 😁 This hotel is not orientated to children but for us it was perfect- no screaming and shouting and our girl had fun in the pool by Herself and her cousin🤣 I wanted to book Spring Hotel Bitacora at first but now I am thinking that I made an excellent choice . That said, I might try it out next time just because of the All nclusive service Bitacora provides. It was a nice quiet stay so if you expect something like Turkey, eith music around the pool, kids disco and shows, this hotel is not for you. We were half board and 4 days we ate at the pool bar and were never disappointed. Good food and reasonable prices. We didn't book UP option because we were with the kids( it's for 18+)but if I ever come without them- I will try it out! Pros: Very good location Modern hotel Heated pools( wheelchair friendly) Good food and service Cons: No shampoo in a room! It's a first for me 🙈 The tiles in the pool (mosaic) need replacement. My daughter filled probably half of the carrier bag from the bottom saw of the pool🤣 All in all- perfect stay and believe me, I am picky. It is one of the hotels I would recommend to my friends and family

I was self catering and the kitchen in accommodation was fantastic. Microwave, full oven and 2 ring hob. Basic accommodation as expected but very clean. Plenty of towels and 5 English channels on television.

Magnificent hotel in a panoramic location. One of the most beautiful 4-star hotels I've stayed in. It alone is worth a trip to Gran Canaria. Immaculately clean and beautifully furnished (my room even had a nice armchair and a sofa. The private panoramic terrace with seating is beautiful). Magnificent common areas, such as the lounge with sofas and a library, the dining room, the panoramic terrace, and the spa garden with a panoramic pool. The best breakfast I've ever had in a 4-star hotel in this category! Local and international products of the highest quality, and freshly cooked in the morning. Salmon, local goat's cheese, top-quality desserts, etc. White tablecloths with the Paradores logo.

I stayed at Lopesan Baobab Resort in Gran Canaria for just one night, and I have to say, I wish I had booked longer! From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming and efficient, making check-in smooth and stress-free. The African-inspired decor is stunning—lush gardens, wooden bridges, and waterfalls create a tropical paradise vibe. My room was spacious, clean, and had a comfortable bed, plus a lovely balcony overlooking the pool area. Speaking of pools—there are so many! The resort has several pools, some heated, and even a lazy river. I only had time to relax by one, but it was well-maintained, with plenty of sunbeds available. Dinner at the buffet restaurant was great with plenty of variety, though it was quite busy, so I’d recommend going earlier to avoid the rush. Breakfast the next morning was just as impressive, with a huge selection of fresh food. If I had to mention a downside, it would be that the resort is huge, so it takes a little while to find your way around. Also, drinks at the bar were a bit pricey. Overall, for a short stay, this place was fantastic, and I’d definitely come back for a longer visit!”

GGuest UserIdeally located in quiet part close to old town as well as the strip. Two pool areas (one with shallow kids pool) and food available by larger pool -also small dining area just past reception (good selection for breakfast). Pool table for older kids and small playground for toddlers onsite. Very clean complex and friendly staff. Fully equipped kitchenette and lovely powerful shower in bathroom which I loved! Close to lots of shops and restaurants, but relatively steep stroll downhill to beach, fine for us but could be a workout with buggy or if any mobility issues. There was on street parking outside if hiring a car. Lots of taxis around if not! We enjoyed exploring the local areas on foot after a day of sightseeing…some great restaurants close by in the old town. No air con in the apartment that we could see (but we didn’t ask either as we stated at end January so 24 Celsius and pleasant indoors and out) - recommend checking if going at peak times. Pools weren’t heated but nice for a dip- clean and lifeguards on duty at both between 9:30 and 6pm. Relaxing short break at lovely complex, we’ll be back!
