Beach hotels in Queensland, Australia

The hotel room was clean, spacious, and clearly recently renovated. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We were able to store our luggage safely in a locked baggage room. The hotel grounds are beautiful, with clean and very attractive pool areas surrounded by lush plants. In the early evening, you can even see fruit bats flying over the property, which adds a special touch to the atmosphere. The hotel is a bit further away from the city centre, but only 15min from the airport.

Only lost one point from me, because of the WiFi signal but I can live without I'm just glad I don't have the kids with me. Personally apart from that my stay was flawless. It has the perfect, location, service, security, cleanliness, not overly priced and I've also saved a lot of cigarettes (because I'm too lazy to walk outside to have one). Then there's the bed!! Wow the bed is lovely, on arrival I had things to do but I laid down for a ”little bit” and I woke up at midnight 😬😮😁 I will definitely be returning in the future. .

Het hotel oogt zeer nieuw en de ligging is uitstekend. Het is heel dicht bij de terminal voor het Great Barrier Reef, op slechts 7 minuten loopafstand, en vanuit de kamer heb je zeezicht. Naast het hotel zit een Vietnamees restaurant (pho) met lekker eten, en direct ernaast is er een avondmarkt. Het grootste minpunt van dit hotel is echter de zeer sterke muffe geur die je al ruikt zodra je de lobby binnenkomt. De service van het hotel was weliswaar erg goed. De eerste kamer die we kregen, had een zeer sterke muffe geur en geen ramen. Nadat we dit bij de receptie hadden gemeld, heeft de medewerkster ons onmiddellijk een andere kamer gegeven en ons zelfs een gratis upgrade naar een kamer met balkon aangeboden. De nieuwe kamer had helaas ook nog een muffe geur, maar dankzij de ventilatie was het wel iets draaglijker. Vanwege gezondheidsredenen kan ik dit hotel dan ook niet aanbevelen.

De locatie is uitstekend, de hutten in het bos zijn heel bijzonder en er is bagageopslag. Er is een supermarkt naast de deur, een goed uitgeruste gemeenschappelijke keuken en een bar bij de ingang, dus je kunt kiezen voor een levendige of juist rustige sfeer.

We had a lovely stay here, close to all the shops and restaurants. All the staff were friendly and very accommodating as we arrived after reception hours and provided us with a way to check in after hours. We stayed for two nights and all aspects were great. Great value for money . :))

De kamer is zeer ruim en comfortabel, en het vervoer is handig. Het is 6 minuten lopen naar de avondmarkt en 12 minuten lopen naar het winkelcentrum. Voorzieningen: Het doucheglas in de badkamer is te smal. Elke keer als ik douche, stroomt er water in de ruimte en spat het water overal rond. Het douchescheidingsglas in het hotel in Brisbane is ook erg smal. Dit is een ontwerpprobleem. Het gaat alleen om de schoonheid, zonder rekening te houden met het daadwerkelijke gebruik. Service: De receptie is erg geduldig. Wij zijn niet goed in taal. De receptie is erg geduldig en herhaalt de uitleg steeds opnieuw, wat erg prettig is.

Nomads Magnetic Island is fantastic! It offers a true island vibe with cozy sleep huts and plenty of outdoor space to relax. The bus stop right in front makes it easy to explore the island. The showers are warm and spacious. This is definitely one of the best hostels I've stayed in!

It was great stay. Clean room, quiet, peaceful ambiance plus the beach itself. Professional staff. In short we love it ❤️

View from the room looks really good. It is 1km walking distance to everything including bars restaurants ferry supermarket and public swimming pools. 1 dollar day pass bus is available and there is a stop behind the hotel. But if you do not want to walk for hundreds meters or 1km, the location is not good for you.
