De staat van de kamer was ook indrukwekkend. We verbleven met z'n tweeën en er waren meer dan genoeg handdoeken, die bovendien brandschoon waren. We hebben geen enkel ongemak ervaren tijdens ons verblijf. Het is misschien een klein detail, maar het zegt veel over het managementniveau van het hotel. Wat ik ook erg goed vond, was de drankenservice op de kamer. Wanneer we om mineraalwater vroegen, werd dit zonder problemen aangevuld. Ook de verschillende drankjes en bieren in de minibar en homebar op de kamer waren gratis. Dit verhoogde het comfort tijdens ons verblijf aanzienlijk. Toen ik voor het eerst boekte, dacht ik dat de locatie van het hotel misschien een beetje ver van Gangmun Beach, Anmok en Songjeong Beach zou liggen. Maar toen ik er eenmaal was, bleek de afstand veel minder een probleem dan ik had verwacht. Als je rustig langs de kust loopt, foto's maakt en van het uitzicht geniet: ° Naar Gangmun Beach is het ongeveer 30-40 minuten. ° Naar Songjeong en Anmok Beach is het ongeveer 20-30 minuten. Het voelde juist als een perfecte afstand om onderweg van de zee te genieten en af en toe even te pauzeren. Uiteindelijk was de locatie dus helemaal niet onhandig en leek het zelfs een voordeel te zijn voor wie rust zoekt. Over het algemeen was dit een zeer bevredigend hotel op vele vlakken, waaronder de service, de staat van de kamer, de roomservice en de gratis drankjes. Het is absoluut een aanrader als je in Gangneung rustig wilt ontspannen en tegelijkertijd van de zee wilt genieten. Ik zal dit hotel zeker opnieuw boeken.

Nice clean hotel across from a nice beach for surfing. I was initially disappointed to find the hotel was across a very busy road from the beach, but the hotel itself is quiet and the rooftop in the morning was a great way to take in the sunset. I might not book here again because of the busy road but the hotel is nice.

Ik verbleef hier omdat ik een ander schema had dan de Gyeongpo Marathon. Sky Bay is altijd mijn favoriete hotel als ik naar Gyeongpo reis. Afgelopen winter had ik een hoekkamer en genoot ik van het uitzicht op zowel de oceaan als het meer. Deze keer had ik specifiek om een ​​hoekkamer gevraagd en het was een geweldige ervaring. Het enige vervelende was de aanhoudende rioolgeur in de badkamer, wat ik een beetje onaangenaam vond. Ik heb er niet naar gevraagd bij de receptie, omdat ik 's ochtends vroeg moest vertrekken. Toch is Sky Bay altijd een fantastisch hotel.😊

It was a last minute reservation we have made to enjoy our national holiday and it surely was a great decision! The location of this resort is in prime spot right next to the Dae-po dock where for the seafood lovers you are in for a delight of fresh and cost efficient sashimi and steamed crabs. Not only that, the resort itself was very resourceful for the families who bring their youngs - massive indoor playground - arcade for the little gamers - quiet family friendly walk way into the shorelines - indoor water park (Stopping here because my fingers hurt trying to write everything down!) Lastly, the rooms were cleaned at exceptional quality with the ocean view. Definitely coming back here next year!

Nice, new-ish hotel. Modern furnishings. Well located for those visiting Gangneung city itself. Walking distance to the local nightlife and drinking places. Room was nice, clean, neat and modern. Would consider staying again in future

Central location - within walking distance of the Express Bus Station from Seoul. Has free parking with the car lift -convenient. Within walking distance to the Sokcho beach. Breakfast buffet was included in the package - the same buffet for the 4 days there - would be better if there is variation. Loved the freshly squeezed fruti juice! Still great to have ba full breakfast before my walks at Seoraksan National Park. My room has a great view of the Seoraksan mountains and the lake. Unfortunately, cannot view the sunrise from the room. Had to pay extra for the rooftop pool and we didn't find a time to visit.

Elke verdieping heeft een uniek thema, gewijd aan verschillende publieke figuren, waaronder presidenten, diplomaten, sportsterren, filmsterren, zangers en acteurs. De gangen zijn versierd met foto's en memorabilia, waardoor elke wandeling een ontdekkingstocht is. De locatie is zeer dicht bij de ingang van Seorak Mountain National Park, op 7-10 minuten lopen. Mijn tweepersoonskamer is prachtig met een mooi uitzicht op het groen. Het enige nadeel en een groot probleem voor mij is dat er 's nachts geen airconditioning is, wat niet in de beschrijving van het hotel staat. Het personeel legde uit dat de airconditioning centraal wordt geregeld en 's nachts wordt uitgeschakeld omdat ze ervan uitgaan dat het koel genoeg is. Ze kunnen me alleen een ventilator geven. Ik heb in het hotel zowel gedineerd als ontbeten en het ontbijtbuffet was allemaal goed. Ook het personeel bij de receptie en in het restaurant was erg aardig en vriendelijk.

Dignity Hotel is located right next to the ocean, so for sea-loving folks, this is the place for you! Naksan Temple is 20mins away, but the beautiful ocean will keep you occupied while you stroll over. Room-wise, the room is very spacious, with a large walk in dressing room and a lounging area. It is also very quiet at night (it is the countryside after all!) and you will be guaranteed a good rest. Amenities around the areas are sparse as it is still low-season (for instance, the nearest well-stocked convenience store is 20 mins away). So I recommend to purchasing the morning buffet at the hotel restaurant so you wouldn’t go hungry in the mornings while thinking about where to explore. Regardless, I expect the area to be much more accessible during the high-season of summer, so plan accordingly! All in all, if I return to Yangyang, Dignity Hotel will be my first choice in selecting a place to stay. I had a wonderful time there.

Excellent stay. Better than expected. I was worried that it would be crowded at the lobby/ common areas due to proximity to casino which was not a preference. The lobby of convention hotel is grand, peaceful and modern. I was also worried that it would be inconvenient to reach the ski slopes however the shuttle buses were frequent and you can get to the slopes quickly. The bus stop drop off point is right outside the ticket office for ski passes Hotel service was welcoming and superb from check in/out to housekeeping. As foreigners we received discount coupons for ski rental and pass. View from room was nice and loved the cream and shower gel etc. Room service was quick and portions are huge. Also how it was delivered was really good too with the robot. Overall very good and comfortable stay.
