Travel Diary: Discovering Nyuto Onsen Village This trip started out as a simple decision—just seeing pictures of the beautiful onsen and the hotel's breakfast and dinner package! It was such a compelling decision that I didn't even bother researching the location. What surprised me most was finding my hotel near Nyuto Onsen Village, a famous historic hot spring village, with a clear view of Lake Tazawako. I spent time exploring the village's seven onsens, each with its own unique charm and hot spring qualities, making this trip even more rewarding than I had anticipated. Upcoming Itineraries: I've already made up my mind that on my next trip, I'll book a hotel during a heavy snowfall so I can soak in Tsurunoyu Onsen. The sight of the outdoor baths in the snow is absolutely captivating. Deze elegante warmwaterbronnenherberg is omgeven door adembenemende berglandschappen en biedt een werkelijk serene ervaring. De attente regeling van twee maaltijden per nacht is een welkome extra; het diner bestaat uit voortreffelijke en heerlijke gerechten bereid met verse, lokale ingrediënten, terwijl het ontbijt een evenwichtige en voedzame start van de dag biedt. De verschillende warmwaterbaden, zowel binnen als buiten, bieden rustgevend en ontspannend water dat alle vermoeidheid wegspoelt. The hotel has a very good location. Although not immediately next to the JR station, it's a short and easy walk to get to the hotel from Akita Station. When you see the Museum of Art in the photo, you are arriving. Also, the famous Senshū Park is just across from the street. It's a grand hotel with nice rooms. The staff are friendly and professional. It's not far from the bar district. There are many interesting bars over there. After a couple of drinks, you can just walk back to the hotel.

Really nice home stay in a lovely little village. The host was friendly and helpful. Even though we turned up super late, he was very gracious and welcomed us into his home. Thank you!

The location is very convenient, right next to JR Akita Station, close to the city’s tourist attractions. It‘s great that the hotel has a gym, and the restaurant on the top floor also has local characteristics, good service, and delicious food. But for some reason, the door of my room could not be closed normally, which made me very confused.

為了看生剝鬼特意來男鹿市，晚上住在距離男鹿站兩站遠的船越站的酒店，酒店本身正對大河，出了船越站還需要步行20min左右。前台各處都可以看到生剝鬼的掛件和擺件，旁邊還有一個小小的紀念品商店角落，生剝鬼的鑰匙扣比生剝鬼館還便宜一點，最後離店的時候，又特意買了一個藍色的鬼站，和生剝鬼館買的紅鬼湊成一對。 前台小姐姐特別熱情親切，19：30之前前台旁邊有免費的咖啡和果汁可以喝。一樓大浴場出口也有免費不限量的冰激凌可以拿到房間裏面吃。 房間挺乾淨的，桌子比較長可以放東西，窗外可以看到河景。當天因為傍晚下雨，外面被風吹動的旗子聲音非常大房間裏面也能聽見，不過還好晚上風停了睡的也很好。 包含兩餐，2h定時的晚餐是烤肉套餐，自己吃自己烤，一大盤烤肉有魚有蝦大海螺，還有豬肉雞肉牛肉，雖然擺盤有點雜亂，但是分量一個人吃還是夠夠的。米飯和味增湯是自助免費的，還有90min的軟飲酒水的自助。早餐是自助，種類基本就是各種香腸丸子雞蛋燒，飲品是牛奶咖啡之類的，雖然種類比較少，但是也可以吃飽。 離店後步行20min跨過大橋可以拍到巨大生剝鬼雕像，雕像前面有個枱子可以卡住手機，非常滿意的一次小眾景點的出行

Het is een heel typisch Japans warmwaterbronhotel, oud maar comfortabel. De luchthaventransferservice, de warmwaterbronnen, het ontbijt en het diner waren allemaal perfect. We liepen langs de bergweg naar de kust. Het landschap was zo mooi dat het niet in woorden kan worden beschreven. Wat vooral geweldig was, was dat de tante die aan het eten was, zag dat we de papieren handdoeken onder de borden leuk vonden en heel bedachtzaam nieuwe voor ons rolde. Het was zo hartverwarmend ondanks de taalbarrière. Het was de beste ervaring van deze reis . Het is jammer dat ik haar naam niet weet. Ik hoop dat ik haar kan bedanken. Ik zal in de zomer opnieuw gaan als ik de kans heb!

I wasn’t too impressed with the top floor public bath at first but the trick is to use the day use one on the ground floor which is connected. My biggest objection is to breakfast ending at 8:30. Had I known I wouldn’t have booked breakfast in advance.

Een erg fijne ervaring. Het café heeft een warme en gezellige sfeer. De kamer is ook uniek en biedt een prachtig uitzicht op het meer. De maaltijden zijn ook bijzonder. Het is beter om in deze periode maaltijden te bestellen, aangezien je elders niet gemakkelijk eten kunt vinden. Een bezoek aan het Tazawa-meer is een echte aanrader. Het water is er zo kalm, helder en schoon.
