Het zwembad was gesloten vanwege de nationale feestdag, wat jammer was.
De locatie is uitstekend, direct aan zee.
We hebben de zonsopgang gezien tijdens het ontbijt, maar de keuze bij het ontbijt was gemiddeld en niet erg uitgebreid.
De twee slaapkamers waren geweldig; de kamers waren ruim en er was water in de koelkast.
De vloer was echter een beetje beschadigd, de deur sloot niet goed en het voelde een beetje oud aan.

Ik ben erg onder de indruk van dit hotel. Ik had er niet veel van verwacht, maar kreeg een geweldige kamer met uitzicht en geweldige voorzieningen zoals een koelkast en een föhn. De kamer was schoon en het hotelpersoneel was zo vriendelijk om te helpen met al onze vragen, zelfs toen onze kamersleutel om 3 uur 's nachts niet meer werkte. Zelfs de hotelbar was leuk en een fijne plek om te ontspannen. De buitenkant ziet er misschien wat ouderwets uit, maar oordeel daar niet op, het is een geweldig hotel, met een goede prijs-kwaliteitverhouding en een geweldige locatie, zo dicht bij het centrum.

Een tweepersoonskamer met vier slaapkamers voor slechts 900 euro is echt een koopje! Eventuele problemen zijn mijn eigen schuld 😅 De kamer was erg schoon; hoewel oud, voelde het grondig schoongemaakt aan, zelfs de moeilijk bereikbare hoekjes waren vlekkeloos. Verwacht niet te veel voor deze prijs. De ramen laten veel licht binnen, dus je zou 's ochtends wakker kunnen worden door de zon. De airconditioning in de twee kamers was niet zo koel als in de woonkamer.
Een taxi vanaf het vliegveld kostte 20 euro. Beneden is een gezellig pleintje, maar het is er niet te lawaaierig om te slapen.
Het ontbijt was gemiddeld; zelfs mensen uit het Verenigd Koninkrijk eten niet veel, wat maar goed was, want ik hoefde niet over te geven op de bergpaden tijdens mijn dagtrip naar Shipwreck Beach, haha.
Het enige grote probleem was het water in de badkamer! Extreem zout! Het water om te douchen en mijn tanden te poetsen was ongelooflijk zout (maar de volgende nacht verbleef ik in een Olea-kamer die meer dan 3000 euro per nacht kostte, en het water was ook een beetje zout).
Dus, zoals ik al zei, een vierpersoonskamer in het centrum voor 1000 euro – eventuele problemen zijn mijn eigen schuld, haha. Prima als tussenstop op Zakynthos; zelfs een nacht langer blijven zou vermoeiend zijn.

Het huis is erg leeg. Het ligt op korte afstand van de stad en de hele reis gaat over een bergweg, maar er is een autoverhuurservice. De kamer is zeer schoon en de omgeving is rustig, geschikt voor vakantie. Het zwembad? is ook erg schoon. Neem uw kinderen 's avonds mee voor een wandeling, weg van de drukte van de stad.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was extremely courteous and friendly, which made our visit particularly pleasant. All our wishes were fulfilled quickly and without any hassle.
The rooms are very modern and equipped with everything you need. We were impressed by the high quality of the furnishings and the cleanliness.
The dining options are top-notch. The food was always of the highest standard, both in taste and presentation.
The hotel facilities are also excellently maintained. The gardens, loungers, and pools are in pristine condition and invite you to relax.
While there is no direct access to the sea, the hotel offers plenty of free parking, allowing you to reach the island’s most beautiful beaches in just a few minutes.
We can highly recommend this hotel and are already looking forward to our next stay.

We stayed at Hotel Art Debono in Corfu and overall had a pleasant stay. The rooms were spacious and had a cosy, home-like feel. Personally, I prefer a more modern style, but if you enjoy a homely atmosphere, the rooms are comfortable and inviting. Some of the furniture, particularly around the bathroom area, was beginning to show its age and could benefit from some refreshing.
The room amenities were fairly good. A 1-litre bottle of water was provided, and pool towels were already placed in the wardrobe, which was convenient. There was an amenity kit and shower cap, although no toothbrushes were provided. The slippers were quite flimsy. The bathroom had several mini conditioner bottles, and the shower area contained a combined body and hair wash as well as a bottle labelled as body and hair moisturiser, which seemed like an unusual place to keep it.
One thing I appreciated was the water quality. After washing my hair, it didn't feel dry or heavy like it often does in very hard water areas such as London.
Bathroom
The bathroom was functional and clean, although I wasn't particularly fond of the pebble flooring in the shower area. It wasn't uncomfortable, but I personally prefer a smoother floor surface.
Breakfast
Breakfast was one of the highlights of the stay. There was a very wide selection of both hot and cold items, including English-style breakfast options, fresh and dried fruits, honeycomb, smoothies, and a make-your-own herbal tea station. The quality was good, and there was plenty of variety to keep things interesting over several mornings.
Facilities
The hotel has a comfortable lounge area with a television, plenty of sofas, and tables where guests can relax with a drink or play some of the board games provided.
The pool was a decent size for the hotel, with plenty of sunbeds available. We arrived at the pool around 3 pm after check-in and still had no problem finding space. There were also two shaded canopy beds near the jacuzzi pool which were free to use, although they faced directly towards the pool and surrounding sunbeds, so they offered shade rather than privacy.
The pool bar was reasonably priced. By European standards, the prices were very fair and seemed typical for Corfu. We tried some food there and found it to be good and reasonably priced.
There is no spa on site. Massage treatments are arranged through an external company, and therapists come to your room when booked through the hotel.
Service
The reception staff were friendly and always greeted us with a smile. They weren't particularly chatty, but they were pleasant and professional throughout our stay.
Upon arrival, we were offered a welcome drink, and the lemonade was especially refreshing. It was also available during breakfast, which was a nice touch. On checkout, we were given a small farewell gift consisting of three jars of local honey, which was a thoughtful gesture and a lovely souvenir to take home.
Location
The hotel is in a relatively quiet area. It was around a 10-minute walk to the nearest supermarket and approximately 15 to 20 minutes on foot to restaurants and souvenir shops. The location suited us well as it was peaceful while still being within walking distance of amenities.
Overall
Hotel Art Debono provided a comfortable and relaxing stay. The excellent breakfast, pleasant pool area, thoughtful touches such as the welcome drink and farewell gift, and friendly staff all contributed to a positive experience. Some areas, particularly the ageing furniture and a few of the room details, could do with updating, but overall it was a comfortable hotel that offered good value and a peaceful atmosphere.

AAnonymous UserExcellent hotel at an inexpensive price - quality of services and rooms. There are breakfasts. The sea is 19 minutes from the hotel, where there is a beach with pebbles and 30 minutes a beach with sand (sunbed 5 euros), if you walk.
Bus 7 runs to the city for about 15 minutes to the center of Kerkyra every 20-30 minutes. From the stop to the hotel it is about 8 minutes on foot. The staff was polite, the room was cleaned and clean. The hotel has a swimming pool where you can lie down or swim.

The freshly made food and drinks are priceless with the breathtaking view ”Window to Kephalonia” as someone called it there! Sunsets by the pool are unique here. The rooms have safe, fire jackets, small stove and oven with everything for cooking and a refrigerator... but why cook when they are such good cooks 🤩. I didn't need the ac, but there is one, as well as extra blankets if you need. If you need a hair dryer or iron they can lend you one at the front desk. If you cam drive manual cars I strongly recommend Alex from Via Venetia for great cars at amazing prices if you have International drivers license, otherwise get a well known car company Enterprice etc. A car is only recommended if you want to see the island. Liberatos Village is up a hill that will keep your body in shape and that bathingsuit looking great! Get a hat here and bring your sunblock! They offer small soaps, towels and bedsheets. I stayed here 7 nights and really felt at home... room F4 had an amazing balcony and spacious/comfortable room! Make sure to visit the Church up the hill and the cave inside the church!

We had a truly wonderful stay and cannot recommend this hotel enough. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a perfect vacation.
Service that Saves the Day
Upon check-in, there was a complication with our booking due to an agency error. Although I had booked for two adults and two kids, the hotel had only received a reservation for two adults and initially requested an extra payment. However, as soon as the hotel staff reviewed our voucher and saw the discrepancy was the agency’s fault, they handled it with incredible grace. They told us to go enjoy our room and start our holiday immediately while they settled the dispute with the agency themselves. It was such a relief not to have to worry about the logistics!
The Facilities & Dining
• The Room: Spotlessly clean and fully equipped with every amenity you could possibly need.
• Dining: The buffet restaurant was fantastic with a great variety of food. While the hotel offers three tempting a la carte options (Greek, Italian, and Japanese), the buffet was so convenient and high-quality that we stuck with it for our two small children.
• Staff: Every single staff member we encountered was friendly, smiling, and remarkably kind to our kids.
If you are headed to Corfu, this should be your number one destination. We will definitely be recommending this gem to all our friends and family. We can't wait to come back!

The problem was the bathroom. There clearly was a leak somewhere in the piping as there was a small amount of water on the floor constantly, day and night which made your feet wet whenever you did go to the bathroom.
The breakfast was southern European standard.

We had a lovely three night stay at Divani Corfu Palace to end our stay on the gorgeous Island of Corfu.
On booking we made an immediate request to have a runway view room for our son to plane spot from and this request was granted with a stunning view of the airport and lagoon.
The staff from the front desk to to the hotel manager were so welcoming and friendly. We were asked every day by the duty manager if everything was to our liking and that we were enjoying our stay. The rooms were clean and well appointed and attended to daily by the staff.
The pool area was relaxed with nice background music and immaculately clean. Perfect place to relax and watch the coming and going’s from Corfu Airport. The pool bar served some lovely snacks and a good selection of drinks with the staff working very hard.
The breakfast was delicious and great choice for all palettes with a clean dinning room, friendly hard working staff.
Shout out to the lady who ran the hotel shop who was lovely and welcoming.
We’ve stayed in three different hotels in Kanoni but this is hands down the best in the area and we will return to this lovely hotel on return to Corfu in the future.

YYelyzaveta HryhorenkoOverall we had a great stay! The staff was super friendly and welcoming — thank you for that. The hotel is located higher up the hill than we expected, so keep in mind that if you don’t rent a car, you’ll need to walk quite a bit up and down to get to the beach. The property is clean and well maintained. Our room was smaller than we expected, but clean enough.
The bed and pillows were super comfortable, which was a big plus!
There’s a small issue with the toilet — the flush tank takes a really long time to refill and it’s quite noisy.
Also, there was no microwave, no salt/pepper/oil, and only one bread knife, so cooking was a bit limited. Just a very basic set of kitchenware.
Wi-Fi in the room was pretty much unusable. The only place we could get any signal was near the balcony — and even there it wasn’t good enough for a video call.
If you plan to work remotely like we did, either ask for a room with better connection or be prepared to work outside, where the internet was great.
They provide two 1.5L bottles of water at check-in, but after that you’ll need to buy your own. A bottle costs €3.
We didn’t try the breakfast, so can’t comment on the food or variety.
The pool was clean, which was nice!
