We stayed for one night and had an overall pleasant experience. The room was clean and spacious enough for two people. The bathroom was especially nice, with a large and comfortable shower area.
There were a few small details missing that you might expect from a five-star hotel, such as a toothbrush, slippers, and a water kettle in the room. However, this was not a major issue for a short stay.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was very good with a nice variety of options. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Ik verbleef onlangs in het Dorint Hotel München/Garin en was zeer tevreden over mijn ervaring. Het hotel overtrof mijn verwachtingen op vele vlakken, met name wat betreft het comfort van de kamers en de algehele kwaliteit van de service.
Pluspunten:
Ruime kamers: De hotelkamers zijn zeer ruim en comfortabel ingericht. De ruimte is erg ontspannend en biedt veel comfort, zowel om te rusten als om te werken. De bedden zijn comfortabel, het meubilair is modern en de faciliteiten zijn compleet.
Prachtig uitzicht: De kamers bieden een prachtig uitzicht op de omgeving. Of het nu de ochtendzon is of de avondverlichting, het uitzicht maakt het verblijf nog aangenamer. Het landschap draagt aanzienlijk bij aan het algehele plezier van de reis.
Uitstekend ontbijt: Het hotelontbijt is zeer uitgebreid en heerlijk. Er is een ruime keuze aan brood, kaas, warme en koude gerechten en vers fruit, allemaal van hoge kwaliteit. De ontbijtomgeving is ook zeer comfortabel, wat zorgt voor een prettige eetervaring.
Service: De service van het hotel is uitstekend. Het personeel bij de receptie is vriendelijk en behulpzaam en het in- en uitchecken verloopt zeer soepel. De roomservice is ook snel en voldoet aan al onze wensen.
Voorzieningen: De hotelfaciliteiten zijn compleet en de openbare ruimtes zijn schoon en modern. De fitnessruimte en andere faciliteiten zijn goed onderhouden en zeer gebruiksvriendelijk.
Nadelen:
Vervoer: Hoewel het hotel zelf uitstekend is, kan het vervoer enigszins onhandig zijn als u geen auto heeft. Het is aan te raden uw route en vervoer van tevoren te plannen.
Al met al is het Dorint Hotel München/Garlin een zeer aan te bevelen accommodatie. Het comfort van de kamers, het uitzicht en het ontbijt dragen allemaal bij aan een aangenaam verblijf. Het is een ideale plek voor zowel zakenreizen als vakanties.

Hotel can be reached with public transport from Munich main station in about 50 min. The rooms are clean and tidy. However, during my stay, both 3-in-1 shampoos in the bathroom were empty. I was provided with a replacement relatively quickly after I let the reception know. My bathroom also smelled a little funny. Finally, the hotel website states that shuttles to the airport are available. This is true, but they are an extra 12 euros. It is very possible they state this, but I missed it. If you are staying near the airport for an early flight the next day, consider investing that extra money in a room closer to the airport.

I had a really great stay. The hotel was clean, well equipped and they even provided complimentary sparkling water. The reception staff were lovely and welcoming. It is just a few minutes’ walk to the bus stop, which makes it a very good choice if you are catching a flight.

GGuest UserRoom is big, bed is comfortable, bathroom has a door for shower area so that it would not become wet everywhere. Shampoo is good quality and like the smell. Breakfast is above average and has a lot of choices.
Internet/Wifi is slow and difficult for some work. Handwash was used up and was not refilled by housing keepers. Queen bed room is not a real queen bed but twin beds put together.

GGuest UserWe received excellent service at this hotel during our check in provided by Aaryan. Aaryan helped guide us into the parking garage, was super friendly and got us a room in the main tower where there was an elevator to use (despite our booking in the less expensive annex room). He even offered to provide us suggestions for the sunny weather during our stay in Munich and made sure to say hello and check in on us each time we saw it. It was natural and friendly customer service.
The hotel is a little older and has some interesting decor. The room had a futon couch, a good bed, desk area, coffee/tea station, closet, mini fridge (with some pop and water you could pay for), an iPod dock, a good sized TV, and plenty of counter space to put our things. They provided gummy bears and a couple of cookies in our room too which was nice. The bed was comfy for me and the hotel can provide more bedding or pillows on request. We felt the cleanliness could have been better as our tea cups were a bit dirty.
The bathroom was interesting with two stools but really a place to put them. The shower was not our favourite with no door or shower curtain and the glass was not enough to keep the water in. There is an all in one shampoo/body wash that was ok. The towels were a little thin and could use replacement.
The cost of the hotel was good and we felt it was a decent location. It is a bit far from the main attractions of Munich but it has good public transport access including the nearby central station which is less than 10 minutes away from the hotel. There are a few restaurants and convenience stores by the hotel that are open quite late and there are some Bavarian/Oktoberfest souvenir stores nearby. I felt safe walking around alone at night to get a late night doner.
The breakfast at the hotel is pretty good with a good variety of food including deli meats, cheeses, bread, yogurt, fruit, juice, coffee and tea. There was lots of seating available including some artsy chairs.
There is limited parking at this hotel and it is very tight so we are glad we rented a compact. If you choose to park here you have to go in to see reception so they can open the door and guide you to your spot. It may also be recommended to contact the hotel in advance to reserve a spot. The front desk initially said it was 20 euros for parking but charged us 22. There are other parkades nearby but due to the construction in the area we felt there was convenient having the car parked at the hotel.

Location: stone throw away from the train station, old town and tons of food choices.
Service: great service, Official check in time 3pm, we arrived at 1pm and our room was ready. The staff were friendly and service with smiles.
Amenities: there is a sauna room, we didn't get to use it but we went to check it out. It is sparkling clean! Disposable room slippers provided which are rare in Europe. They also provide pulse point essential oil placed at the bedside. Love the sense. Kettle provided in the room, convenient for quick coffee fix.
Con:
Bed: this is the only major concern. The bed support is bad, at the hard side.
