I booked this hotel by accident and last minute, but fortunately the hotel was amazing, reasonable price, complete facilities, and make my stay amazing and comfort. all the hectic days in airport was gone. this hotel very recommended if you want layover a while to Fuzhou Airport.

We zijn met mijn ouders overgestapt van het Andaz naar het Swissôtel. Mijn ouders vonden dat het Swissôtel veel uitgebreidere faciliteiten had, inclusief een sauna bij het zwembad. Het water was op de juiste temperatuur en het zwembad was groot genoeg. Ik wil vooral het ontbijt in het Xin Nan Xuan op de derde verdieping van het hotel prijzen; de kwaliteit was zelfs beter dan de meeste dim sum in Guangdong. Er was 's nachts een vervelend incident op de parkeerplaats tijdens ons verblijf, maar gelukkig heeft het hotel ons tijdig geïnformeerd, zodat onze plannen voor de volgende dag niet werden beïnvloed. De hygiëne van het hotel was niet zo slecht als in sommige recensies vermeld; voor een hotel dat al vele jaren open is, waren de staat van de kamers en de hygiëne uitstekend.

Coupl We had a fantastic stay at the Kempinski and couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The hotel is perfectly located, with a stunning view of the lake, which was especially enchanting at night. Watching the moonlight dance on the water while relaxing at the hotel was truly magical. The staff were so warm and accommodating, but we’d like to give a special mention to Scott. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, and his friendly nature really made us feel at home. Breakfast was a real treat. The buffet had a great variety of options, and we were always excited to see what was on offer each morning. We particularly loved the apple oatmeal – it became a must-have for us during our stay! One of the highlights of the trip was strolling around the lake together. It was so peaceful and refreshing, and the scenic walk added such a lovely touch to our mornings. All in all, our stay at Kempinski was perfect. We left feeling relaxed, well-fed, and grateful for the amazing service and beautiful surroundings. We highly recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with top-notch service and views to match!

We have had a very pleasant 3-day stay for the first time at this hotel. Most impressed with the very courteous and efficient customer service delivered by all the frontline staff. We would like to highlight the excellent service rendered by their duty housekeeping staff named 郑惠川. She always greeted us with a pleasant smile.She has kept the room in tiptop condition throughput our stay and has promptly and effectively handled each and every request of ours. We were particularly touched by her one small gesture, as illustrated in the little note she sent us (attached). We would appreciate it if our compliments about 郑惠川could be conveyed to the hotel management. We also noted the excellent location of the hotel in the old city of Quanzhou. Would strongly recommend the hotel for anyone who wish to explore the old city.

Dit hotel ligt in het centrum, vlakbij een prachtig meer. Toen ik de kamer binnenstapte, merkte ik meteen dat dit hotel, gezien het uitzicht vanuit het raam, zowel een hotel als een resort zou kunnen zijn. Het aangename weer in Xiamen en het fantastische uitzicht over het meer maakten mijn herinneringen onvergetelijk, vooral tijdens de zonsondergang. Ik heb echt een geweldige tijd gehad in dit hotel. Wat de kamers betreft, dit hotel is niet nieuw, maar het is goed onderhouden en beheerd, waardoor ik geen problemen met de hygiëne heb ondervonden. Het hotel biedt een gevarieerd ontbijtbuffet met heerlijke warme gerechten. Elk onderdeel had een eigen kok die erg beleefd en behulpzaam was voor de hotelgasten. Al met al een goed beheerd en georganiseerd hotel in Xiamen. Ik hoop er nog eens terug te komen.

This must be my worst stay in a hotel for the last 3 years. The rooms are huge but their sound proof is so bad that when anyone on the same floor closes his door, my room door quakes. So you can imagine how you feel when you are in deep sleep and you are suddenly awaken by a loud bang. Every so often. Middle of the night.  Secondly, the aircon in the room continuously blew cold air. Seems this is the setting of their central aircon and my room was an icy 20 degrees throughput. Location wise, it is near the old town but not so near that you can easily walk. Yes there are limited public buses but limited services near the hotel and their frequency leaves much to be desired. Your best bet is go for ride hailing. Fortunately these are very affordable and the city of Zhangzhou is small. Safety box in the room did not work. And yes I did follow the operating instructions  On the plus side, hotel has outdoor hot spring pools but I didn’t try them as the weather was too cold. Manager apologised profusely and tried to compensate us with fruits and bottled water. In my mind it did not make up for 4 nights of poor quality sleep.

I had a pleasant and satisfactory stay at the InterContinental Fuzhou. The rooms are very spacious, and I especially liked the clever sliding divider that allows you to separate the bathroom area when needed. Breakfast was abundant with a good variety of options, and the service throughout the stay was prompt and efficient. The hotel is also very conveniently located, with the metro entrance just a 3-minute walk away.

We booked the two-storey villa and truly enjoyed the beautiful scenery within the hotel grounds, as well as the excellent service. From the doorman, restaurant staff, electrician, to the drivers — everyone was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. A special thanks to our Butler, Xiao Fang. She is such a lovely and caring lady — incredibly helpful, patient, and attentive. No matter what we requested, she always did her best to assist. I changed my boat-ride schedule multiple times, and she handled everything with so much patience and professionalism. Xiao Fang truly made our holiday more enjoyable and completely hassle-free. We would love to come back to this hotel again.

We stayed here for my daughter’s birthday, and we loved every second of it! The hotel prepared a cake for her and took care of us really well during our stay. The view is spectacular and the food is great. This is our second time staying, and we would love to come back!

Ik verbleef in dit hotel voor een Wang Xinling-concert en de service rondom het concert was uitstekend. Xiaoli was attent en behulpzaam gedurende het hele proces, en Xiaolei Huang, die de auto regelde, was ook erg toegewijd. Ik belde van tevoren om plaatsen te reserveren voor de concertpendelbus, voegde ze toe via WeChat tijdens het inchecken en voegde ze de dag voor het concert toe aan de groepsapp. De laatste bus vertrok om 17:30 uur en de chauffeur stond op de parkeerplaats te wachten met een bordje. Het ontbijt was uitstekend, met een ruime keuze aan Xiamen-specialiteiten, en elk gerecht was het proberen waard. We hadden die avond ook een buffet op dezelfde locatie, elk met een halve kleine blauwe draak. De sashimi, gebak en zeevruchten waren allemaal heerlijk, met een ruime keuze. De service bij de receptie was uitstekend. Toen mijn aanbetaling niet toereikend was, namen ze direct contact met me op en boden ze me 10% korting aan op alle hotelmaaltijden. De lobby serveert heerlijke kruidenthee en de receptie en conciërge waren zeer proactief. Het enige nadeel van het hotel is de afstand tot de belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden van Xiamen. Ik kwam vroeg aan vanwege een ochtendvlucht en de receptie hielp me meteen een kamer te vinden. Maar de kamer was niet goed schoongemaakt. Het voelde alsof er al lange tijd niemand was geweest. Er lag een hoopje stof in een hoek van de vloer.
