"De duplexkamer met twee eenpersoonsbedden en hangende stoel in Xianxiu in Wangxiang Valley was geweldig! Perfect voor een gezin van drie, je verblijft midden in de geheime vallei, wat de ervaring onvergetelijk maakt ✨ De duplexindeling is super gelaagd, en de hangende stoel beneden is de kers op de taart. Heerlijk om daar weg te kruipen en van het prachtige uitzicht buiten te genieten, pure ontspanning. De twee eenpersoonsbedden zijn breed en comfortabel, het beddengoed is zacht voor de huid, zodat iedereen ongestoord kan rusten met veel privacy. De kamer in houtstijl past perfect bij de bergen en het water. De kamertemperatuur is comfortabel, zelfs in de winter voelde het niet koud aan – er is veel aandacht besteed aan details. Het hele verblijf was zorgeloos. De butler stuurde van tevoren reisgidsen, beantwoordde vragen direct, je kon snel het park in bij de ingang, en er was een portier om te helpen met de bagage. "Ik wilde al heel lang naar Wangxian Valley en eindelijk had ik de tijd om deze sprookjesachtige plek te bezoeken. Het hotel ligt in het schilderachtige gebied, en na het inchecken waren we snel bij de kern van het景区. De kamer die we boekten was van alle gemakken voorzien, de kinderen vonden het geweldig en mijn vrouw was zeer tevreden. Vanuit de kamer kon ik direct uit het raam kijken en genieten van het sprookjesachtige uitzicht, wat ik persoonlijk ook erg fijn vond. We kwamen tijdens het Lentefestival, en er waren op verschillende tijden prachtige voorstellingen, wat zorgde voor een geweldige feestelijke sfeer. Ons hele gezin heeft een heerlijke vakantie gehad. We komen zeker terug!"

"Location 5/5. Visibility of the hotel is terrible. Coming from the Bayi Memorial station, the hotel is not viable. The entrance is not Chongshan but a side lane. There is a small Ibis logo amongst number advertisements. The entrance is a small door to a lift. The front desk is on the 3rd floor but it's not marked on the lift. From the Bayi Metro station, pass McDonald's and it's the first lane after. If you pass the spherical bollards , you have passed it. The room is aged. Housekeeping 5/5. Front desk 3.5)5."

"I was completely ‘WOW’ by the services and the cleanliness of my rooms during my stay at Shangri La Nanchang. The cleaners who cleaned my rooms were consistent in maintaining clean and sparkling surface top of my rooms. We were given connecting rooms (2713 & 2714) which made it easier for me to walk over to my children without stepping out of my room in my pyjamas. Manager Mr Hank Zhang ensured my stay was pleasant, convenient and enjoyable for me as he knew that I was staying there for 5D4N with my 3 children. Counter staff Ms Ava Li was friendly and professional in handling my request with thoughtful act and professionalism. Thank you to all the staff in Shangri La Nanchang for making my last lap of the China trip a pleasant, enjoyable and comfortable stay from 21 to 25 December 2024. "Very good services with excellent and friendly front desk staffs, mainly the young lady LuLu. The room is very clean with very comfortable bed. 10~15 minutes walking distance and very convenient to Wuyuan train station. In general speaking, the hotel does match the Sheraton and Marriott standards. I will definitely stay in the same hotel , if I will come back to the same area. I will recommended to my other friend to stay in this hotel. Hope they will keep the same qualities."

Having heard so much about Wangxian Valley, finally seeing it today, 'stunning' and 'awe-inspiring' are the most fitting words. It's especially remarkable knowing that its predecessor was an ecologically devastated area due to over-mining. To transform it into such a grand, retro-style Gan-style village, designed and rebuilt with incredible creativity, building scenery along the mountain cliffs – it truly makes for a breathtaking sight. The design and construction are incredibly thoughtful; almost every corner, every plant, and tree is a beautiful scene you can't help but capture with your camera. Yet, you also want to put the camera down and let your eyes soak in the beauty. The room layout is also excellent, with a strong homestay vibe. From the moment we arrived, staff were there to help with luggage and guide us, even delivering bags to our room – it's all very standardized and well-managed service. However, one day here really feels rushed; if you have enough time, I'd suggest two days to truly experience it. Oh, and the breakfast is incredibly rich, offering both local specialties and classic Chinese and Western breakfast items. The food is genuinely delicious, and the variety surpasses even five-star hotels. We stayed near the guesthouse reception center. The only drawback was the lack of dining options nearby; we had to walk to the snack street at the bottom of the valley or to the few restaurants in the middle section, but they closed quite early. Later, we discovered that the old enclosed building at the guesthouse reception center actually had many specialty snacks and delicacies, and they were open very late. The Yangkou fried noodles, clear soup wontons (get the ones with egg!), and the crock pot stew at the very back were all delicious. Highly recommend!

I found this hotel temporarily with my colleagues on a business trip. I didn't notice the invoice problem when I booked it, but the front desk manager Shi was very professional and patient to help us solve it when I checked out. The hotel itself is also very good, the decoration and facilities are generally new, and the price-performance ratio is very good.

We stayed for 3 days in this lovely hotel, the lady running the place was really nice and helped us organising trips in the Wuyuan area. From the terrace you have a great view of the village and can take great photos. The rooms are spacious and offer everything you need. The lobby/ breakfast area has a lot of charme, since all the furniture is from another era and so the place just feels very original and homey. Even though on 2 of 3 days we were the only guests, we got a full buffet of delicious Chinese food for breakfast, including a good coffee. The organised trips with Mister Yu were such a pleasure, he showed us the best spots in the area and was a really good driver.

It's rare to see a clear starry sky in the city, but at Wangxian Valley at night, far from light pollution, you can look up and see a sky full of stars. As the night deepens and the tourists leave, the canyon returns to quiet, with the mountain breeze gently sweeping past the cliff houses, accompanied by the chirping of insects. Pull up a chair on the guesthouse balcony, gaze up at the brilliant Milky Way, and let go of all life's pressures. There's no need for long hikes; you can simply look up at the stars from the guesthouse itself. Special thanks to Butler Huanhuan, who reminded me to watch out for mosquitoes at night. Under the night sky of the mountains, quietly feel the starlight sprinkle down, and embrace a romantic, healing moment that belongs exclusively to summer.

Our family of 13 recently spent three nights at Wuyou Stayhill Resort in Sanbao Village, Jingdezhen, and it was a truly wonderful stay. The location is excellent—about a 20‑minute drive from Jingdezhen city—yet set in a quiet village surrounded by mountains and many artist studios, cafés, and restaurants, so there is always something interesting to explore. The hotel also provided free rental scooters, which made exploring Sanbao village easy and really fun. Waking up each morning to the crisp mountain air was already the perfect start to the day. The resort offers spacious rooms with high‑quality finishes and fittings; our six rooms were all beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, with quality bedding and bathroom amenities that made for a very comfortable stay. The highlight of our visit was the outstanding service from the staff, who were consistently caring, attentive, and proactive in anticipating our needs. They handled several ad‑hoc requests even before our arrival and continued to go above and beyond throughout our stay so that every member of our family felt well looked after. We particularly enjoyed the freshly prepared breakfast each morning. After long days of sightseeing, it was a joy to return to the resort, where a good night sweat desert soup awaited us, making it feel like coming home every evening. On Christmas Eve, our sweet dessert soup was accompanied by a beautifully written poem wishing us all a Merry Christmas, a thoughtful touch that showed how the staff went the extra mile to make us feel special. Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail made our stay smooth, relaxing, and truly memorable, and this hotel is highly recommended to anyone planning to visit Sanbao Village.

After spending a night on Sanqingshan, I made my way down the mountain and checked into the resort again. Whilst my room was being cleaned, I opted to wait by the area by the lobby and it was shut. I asked a young female waitress to let me in so I can sit on a comfortable sofa whilst waiting for my room and she let me through when she realised that I was so knackered after coming down from the mountain and there was no where else to sit in the lobby. She fastened the rope behind me so no-one else could get through and left me there to rest. 10, 15 or maybe 20 minutes went by and approached the reception again and this time was given my room key and gestured where to go. I was a little annoyed for not being told that my room was ready. It was in a different wing of the resort to my previous room. This resort is huge. The room was so spacious and beautiful with a double bed. I then went downstairs to the area by the lobby to order an early lunch but was told by the young female waitress that it was closed until 12:30. I asked if I could order a 3 course meal from the menu and they can bring it up to my room. They said it was fine and I also managed to speak to the chef to see what was available. I was forewarned that it might take a while to cook. I placed my order anyway and went back to my room. The wait was worth it and all the courses were so delicious. Despite the feeling of being disorganised, most staff in this resort are really quite helpful.

The Huazhu Wuyuan Yueyuan Wufei B&B is amazing! 👍 The renovation of the old house was meticulously done. A professional designer designed the courtyard, preserving its ancient charm while maintaining elegance and comfort. The rooms are cozy and inviting, ensuring a good night's sleep. The meals are authentic Wuyuan cuisine, and the proprietress's cooking is exceptional, making the specialties incredibly delicious. Breakfast and lunch offer a complete selection of Wuyuan specialties (pocket carp, steamed pork with rice flour, steamed fish with rice flour, Qingming fruit, etc.). The dishes are made with all-natural ingredients, including cucumber, cowpea, green pepper, and river chicken. The whole family devours every meal! You can also cycle along the rippling river, amidst the gently swaying blossoms. In the courtyard, you can play pot-to-pot together, creating a truly immersive experience. The attentive service makes it feel like home! 🥰 The proprietress and her family run the B&B as if it were their own home. Every corner of the old house holds history, every visitor has a story, and every dish the proprietress prepares is filled with warmth. It is better to come here by yourself after seeing and hearing it. Feel the inheritance of this history and the love for life.

I recently stayed at this hotel in Nanchang, and the location is fantastic – right across from the subway station. The room was well-cleaned and even came with disposable toilet seat covers and disinfectant wipes, which was a nice touch. The in-room smart assistant was also super convenient to use. While the breakfast selection wasn't huge or particularly lavish, the Nanchang-style mixed noodles were absolutely delicious and just as good as what you'd find outside. I also appreciated that you need to use your room card to access the elevators, which made me feel very secure. Definitely recommend it; I'd choose to stay here again on my next trip to Nanchang!
