"Ik reisde op 1 mei van Chongqing naar Guiyang en heb dit hotel geboekt. Het personeel nam een paar dagen voor vertrek telefonisch contact met mij op, wat zeer attent was. Ook de plaatselijke temperatuur werd meegedeeld. Na aankomst in Guiyang is het ook erg handig om van het treinstation naar het hotel te komen, met directe toegang tot de metro. De ontvangst bij de receptie was bijzonder goed toen ik incheckte, en de algehele inrichting was opvallend. Er zijn elke dag zelfbedieningsfruit en snacks, de pap is bijzonder lekker en de kamer is ook geweldig. Er werden ook oogmaskers en gezichtsmaskers voorbereid. Bedankt voor de attente gastvrijheid. Het was een zeer gedenkwaardige reis naar Guiyang."

"Wij zijn een ouder echtpaar en werden hartelijk ontvangen in het Mercure Anshun Hotel. Mevrouw 樹枝 stond ons bij, serveerde drankjes en zorgde ervoor dat we ons thuis voelden.
Het inchecken verliep snel en de kamer was comfortabel, zonder enige fout. 樹枝 gaf ons zelfs advies over de beste plekken in Anshun en waar we kaartjes voor Huangguoshu konden kopen. Mercure Anshun zou haar nog lang moeten behouden.
De locatie van het hotel is fantastisch, vlak naast het treinstation van Anshun, op ongeveer 10 minuten lopen. Een ritje van 15 minuten met de didi brengt u naar de oude stad Anshun (Gufustraat), waar de straten vol restaurants, desserts en snacks zijn. De avondmarkt ligt aan de overkant van de oude stad.
Op foto 5 kunt u een buskaartje naar Huangguoshu kopen. De reis duurde ongeveer 40 minuten en de bus kostte CNY 22.

"Phenomenal travel and stay experience. The journey to get here isn’t easy as it was a slope up the mountains. But everything was worth it when we reach the hotel, the service staff is amazing including 洪梅，杨杨 and the front desk staff for cooking and preparing amazing food for us. It would be better to come during spring or summer as it can be a bit cold, the swimming pool isn’t heated during winter. Overall cleanliness and the hotel facilities is superb!"

"Nice hotel very close to the fanjingshan gates — you just walk in there. It has nice nature-view rooms, decent restaurant, well-maintained territory. However, to me there's not much else to do there other than go to Fanjingshan. For this particular purpose the hotel is perfect and super nice, but I wont come there just to stay (but its more about me, this is the case with most hotels for me)"

The hotel is in a perfect location: just a short walk to Qingyun Market and Jiaxiu Lou. It’s convenient for eating, shopping and sightseeing.
The rooms are clean, modern and comfortable, with soft beds and nice amenities. The room is quiet even in the city center, so I slept very well.

"Omgeving: Het ligt vlak bij het binnenste rijstveld van het Dong-dorp en ver van de ingang van het dorp. De baas haalt je echter op en zet je gedurende het hele proces af, dus het is erg handig. 's Nachts is het er erg stil, tenzij de buren te veel lawaai maken.
Service: Geweldig, de baas is erg enthousiast, hij haalt je op bij het hogesnelheidstreinstation van Congjiang en neemt je ook weer mee als je weggaat. Het ontbijt is superlekker, de rijstnoedels zijn echt beter dan die in restaurants. De baas is een lid van de etnische groep Dong. Als wij hem vroegen naar de trommeltorens en andere dingen die wij onderweg tegenkwamen, gaf hij ons een korte beschrijving. Faciliteiten: Het meubilair is van hout, wat prettig is om foto's te maken, en het is niet koud. Wij kwamen hier begin april aan en 's nachts was het in het dorp nogal fris. Zodra we de twee airconditioners in huis aanzetten, werd het meteen warm.

Great room with a bathtub on the balcony, smart toilet, nice slippers, great hairdryer and a huge TV.
Just the makeup mirror didn't work.
The gym was good and the breakfast was amazing. Lots of delicious options, much better than the other hotels so far. Location also good, quite near to the entrance to Huangguoshu.
We were happy to find the free washing machine and dryer."

GGuest UserThe location of the homestay is very close to the Wanfenglin Scenic Area. It is very convenient to go to the scenic area, Yaotian, and Xiashi. It is not along the road. It is very quiet. It is very quiet during the day and uses all its strength to play. It sleeps quietly at night. The homestay has a large yard, and the sun teasing cats and fat people (Akita big dog) will relax, and the time feels slower. The boss also made breakfast for us personally. Fruits and vegetables are particularly fresh ingredients. I recommend everyone to try rice noodles and freshly picked strawberries. You can also go to the strawberry garden outside the hotel to pick and eat! This trip basically did not do a strategy, the main one is to do what you want, every day before going out, the boss will recommend delicious and fun according to our preferences, liberate the brain and liberate the hands, it is a lazy gospel. I also ran to visit the luxurious 201 room with a bathtub and a balcony with a view! This time I booked late and didn't grab it. I must enjoy the next 201 next time! !

JJohn Charles ChasteenThe Creekside Inn has modern, elegantly designed rooms (I can’t emphasize that enough), a very good location with beautiful views, and a friendly, capable staff, that truly goes out of its way to be helpful— all of this at quite favorable prices. The water is hot and the bed is heated for winter in the mountains. I stayed four days, and would’ve stayed longer had I had time, just because I felt so wonderfully at home there. I left with plans to return with my wife next year. English spoken. Oh，and I got a splendid breakfast tailored to my individual dietary requirements! I have visited 35 countries and traveled all over China, and I have never been happier with my accommodations anywhere!

GGuest UserOur trip to the Miao village was very smooth, and the B&B experience exceeded our expectations. The owner was incredibly welcoming, contacting us beforehand and sending someone to meet us, help with our luggage, and guide us from the village entrance to the B&B. Since the B&B is located on the hillside with a great view, the owner also advised us not to bring too much luggage, so we just carried backpacks. Due to the rain, the stone steps were a bit slippery, but luckily the B&B's location is excellent, only a 5-minute walk to Bridge No. 5, which was very convenient. The owner even thoughtfully prepared afternoon tea and sweet soup for us!
Our room had a terrace with a panoramic view of the entire Miao village, overlooking it all was truly delightful and enjoyable. It was a wonderful experience, and if I visit again, I'll definitely stay here! 😁😁

GGuest UserThis is a five-diamond hotel located within the Xiaoqikong Scenic Area. It's actually a few hundred meters past the old east gate of the scenic area, right before Wangmeng Town. The location is excellent, very close to the Xiaoqikong Bridge and Laya Waterfall. Xiaoqikong has changed a lot; shuttle buses now operate within the scenic area, which is very convenient for tourists, though it has somewhat diminished the unique charm of the original forest edge landscapes. Since it wasn't peak season this time, the hotel price was quite favorable, which was nice. We had a bit of bad luck this trip; it had rained heavily in Libo a few days prior, so the water in Xiaoqikong, though clean, had a yellowish tint. It lacked the characteristic clear turquoise and deep blue hues we'd seen in different sections of the river in the past. The hotel's service was excellent. The sink in the bathroom was a bit clogged, and after one phone call, maintenance staff arrived immediately to fix it. Turns out, a previous guest had thrown a piece of clear adhesive from a band-aid into the basin, which got stuck with hair further down, blocking the drain. It's a shame that some guests have such poor etiquette; a thoughtless act like that can cause problems for others. The hotel breakfast was decent, with a good variety of local Guizhou specialties and standard breakfast options. The only downside was the bacon and Western-style sausages. Guizhou lacks companies that produce high-quality Western sausages, and those generally made in China are often just mediocre. I'd suggest Guizhou consider introducing enterprises like Germany's Schindele to produce high-quality Western sausages, bacon, and other products using Guizhou's excellent pork, beef, and lamb as raw materials. Supplying these to major hotels would elevate the dining experience in Guizhou and even the entire Southwest region. Furthermore, Guizhou Dragon's cured and smoked products are excellent. Perhaps they could offer spicy sausages, cured pork, and braised pork made from Congjiang fragrant pigs to consumers, which might better showcase the unique flavors of Guizhou cuisine than some of the bland, uninspired products currently available.

LLexielilyThis was not an ordinary hotel stay. It became something I will remember for the rest of my life.
I arrived at the airport after unexpectedly injuring my ankle earlier that day and had no idea how serious it was or what to do next. I booked this hotel last minute, and from the moment I contacted them, everything changed. The team immediately arranged a car to pick me up from the airport, and I was met with such kindness, care, and professionalism that I felt safe right away.
When I arrived, they provided a wheelchair for me and allowed me to keep it overnight. They thoughtfully placed me in a more accessible room, helped with my luggage, and continuously checked in to make sure I had everything I needed. This all happened late at night, yet the level of attention and warmth never wavered.
What truly stood out was how every single staff member treated me. Each time I spoke with someone, they sincerely said to call if I needed anything, and they meant it. It felt like the entire team knew about my situation and was looking out for me. As a first-time traveler in China and an English speaker, I was honestly quite scared, but they went out of their way to make sure I never felt alone or overwhelmed.
At one point, multiple staff members even came up to my room to check on me in person and ask if I needed anything. They made sure I ate and brought me a warm meal, and I can genuinely say those were the most comforting, soul-filling noodles I had during my trip.
In the morning, they kindly offered me a late checkout until 2 p.m., again reminding me to reach out for anything at all. When it was time to leave, they made the process completely seamless. A member of the reception team personally escorted me by golf cart to the airport, helped communicate with airport staff, and ensured I received a wheelchair for my onward journey. I did not have to think or worry about a single step.
This level of care goes far beyond standard hospitality. It reflects a truly exceptional team. Every person I encountered was kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in my wellbeing.
I want to extend my deepest thanks to everyone working that day for taking such incredible care of me. You turned what could have been a very stressful and frightening experience into something warm, safe, and deeply human. This is a world-class team and a shining example of what hospitality should be.
I am so grateful and will absolutely stay with this hotel again. Thank you for everything.

SStanley The Travel ManWhat I like most is : The room is on the fourth floor. I didn’t pay for an expensive room so the room looks out to the backyard which is disorganized. If I pay more I would’ve gotten a better view. What I pay is what I get obviously. Nevertheless the room is very very nice. It has many lights and well lit and I love it. I can read without feeling that I am living inside a cave. The smart toilet is a place to for buttock massage.
The breakfast is quiet good.. It has fruit, bao zi and a freshly made bowl of rice noodles.
The hotel offers fruit for free . I love to have fruit and the fact that I don’t have to buy it and carry it back to the hotel.
I have daily house keeping . My garbage was emptied.
There are 2 massage chairs that are very good. The hotel decor in the lobby and the room are very pleasant. The owner has good ‘taste’.
I am not a big fan of disposable towels. If there is anything I prefer, is I want to cloth bathing towels. I felt like I used a piece of enormous napkins to dry my body. This is not a deal breaker though as I only stay 2 nights. If I stay longer, there would be anything else to do because I complete the whole circuit in less than 4 hours. The next day I went to Yao Shan and there wasn’t many people . But being 65, the entrance is free but I paid 20 rmb for the short bus ride. I paid 15 rmb one way on a DiDi there and the same coming back.
The location is at the extreme end of this neighborhood and would require a 10 minutes uphill to the entrance. The park is quite big. You have to walk 10 minutes to 15 minutes to the entrance, then after you buy the ticket, another 10 minutes to the bus stop so it is quite a lot of walking before you begin your journey. If I have to do it all over again, I would have spent more time at every stop. I misunderstood that route A and route B is different. Route B is exactly the same as route A in reverse. The information given by the owner should include the trail from the bus top to the bridge . There is an option to ride a boat and then walk a bit. The trail is easy to walk and well maintained and quite pleasant early in the morning and before closing as there will be fewer people .
The hotel is a bit far if you have a lot of luggages.
In summary, this hotel is the only one that offers breakfast in my 5 weeks through China and it was surprising good.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

AAnonymous UserThe right way to open it is to come to Wujiangzhai and stay in the scenic spot. Mushan Hotel is at the highest point of the village. You need to take a car to go to the core scenic area. We booked Building 2. In the early morning, when we opened the window on the balcony, we were surrounded by green trees and the chirping of birds. The hotel service is very good. You can get free tickets, free shuttle bus, and free parking fees. The staff also helps to check in your luggage. Special thanks to the front desk of the hotel. Because the family brought a lot of things with them on a family trip, a bag of the child's things fell in the lobby. It was only when I went to bed at night that I remembered that there was a tablet in it. I hurriedly went to the lobby to look for it. I didn't expect to find it, but I didn't expect it. The staff has picked it up and placed it at the front desk. Just for this reason, this scenic spot is worth visiting again.

GGuest UserWe embarked on a 14-day trip to Guiyang this time. We took a direct bus from Zhenyuan Ancient Town bus station to the East Gate of Fanjingshan. After a short walk of a few minutes, crossing the Heiwuan River Wind-Rain Bridge, which spans the Taiping River and features typical Dong ethnic architectural style, we arrived at the hotel. I'd say the transportation was incredibly convenient.
During check-in, we met front desk attendant Xiao Le (No. 02). He was very enthusiastic and smiling, taking our two pieces of luggage and escorting us to our room. He also presented us with complimentary welcome fruits and shared a Fanjingshan travel guide, which we found very touching.
Since this was our first time in Guizhou and we were traveling independently, we weren't very familiar with the transport connections. Before our trip, I called the front desk to ask which Fanjingshan gate the hotel was closest to. The person who answered the phone was impatient, said they were busy, and hung up after just a couple of words. It's the same hotel, yet due to differing service attitudes, guests experience very different feelings. If Guizhou wants to develop its tourism industry, even with the national government building highways right to its doorstep, the service awareness still needs significant improvement.

The rooms are clean, spacious, and designed for comfort, with many offering stunning views of the natural landscape. The resort has a calm, welcoming atmosphere, making it perfect for relaxation after a day of exploring. Staff are friendly and attentive, always ready to help. The dining options include both local and international dishes, which adds to the convenience of staying on-site. While it’s located a little outside the city center, the serene environment and fresh air make it well worth the stay.

GGuest UserStaying at this guesthouse in Qianhu Miao Village was an absolutely delightful experience. The location is superb, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the village and finding local specialty dishes. The front desk and guesthouse staff were exceptionally warm and attentive, promptly addressing any needs and showing great patience and care. The daily complimentary fruit platter was a highlight—diverse, fresh, and deliciously sweet. Our room was spotless and well-organized, feeling spacious and bright. All facilities were well-maintained, ensuring a very comfortable stay. Every aspect exceeded our expectations; the attention to detail was truly impressive, and it offered excellent value for money. It's perfect whether you're looking for a relaxing getaway or a short trip. I'll definitely choose this place again when I return to Qianhu Miao Village.
