The property sits just above the Waterbury Center Day Use swimming, paddle boarding and kayaking area with the access just down the road with canoe and kayak rentals available. Or you can use our canoe and 2 kayaks going through the sweet, wooded path to the point. An added attraction during foliage season are boat tours just below on the Waterbury Reservoir. There is a nice sledding hill to the left of the house and next to the pond in the winter. And in the summer, you can swim off the point for a more private setting, just a short walk from the apartment. It is not unusual to see a bear, turkeys or deer on the lower property, with the ponds supplying drinking water to wildlife all year round.
