Kyoto Gion Lamp Museum

This time I went with my comrades-in-arms and two other friends. I don't think it's my favorite feature here. That's to stroll through the street of Zongyuan, feel the Japanese folklore, and then buy some famous tea ice cream with Kyoto's special features along the street.

As the most complete old block reserved in Kyoto, the traditional wooden architecture style of Japan is clearly displayed here. It is not as quiet as in the daytime at night, but a flickering light makes people feel warm. Kerosene lanterns are hidden in the neighborhood, displaying a variety of lamps and lanterns, while the nearby shrines are full of voices, but there is a lot of quiet, forming a strong contrast.

Kyoto Zouyuan Kerosene Lamp Art Museum is located in the south of Bakasaka Shrine. There are more than 800 kerosene lamps made in Japan and abroad since the Meiji era. As kerosene lamps of great historical value, it has special significance. Ancient Japanese folk life and customs can be reflected. Many schools in Kyoto also regard this museum as an important part of extracurricular learning. One of the venues.
