Stayed on 20 June 2025 I chose this place because I was looking for somewhere different to the typical hotels and BnBs during my Europe trip. I was more mobile with a rented car. The photos in the booking website did not do it justice as it gave a “******* castle” vibe but in reality is lovely and bright. In addition, the relatively low price and limited time to book. I am puzzled that it's ratings did not exceed 4 stars as it exceeded my expectations. The staff were warm, kind, and prompt. Breakfast was excellent, with the amazing view from the room, overlooking a meadow with grazing sheep. An added bonus: it’s located along the Grindstone Path, making it a perfect and convenient spot for hiking enthusiasts.

Excellent service threw out our stay very friendly staff and loads of them so no waiting around at all room lovely warm and clean Stayed for the dinner dance which was also excellent in all ways
