Het zou prettig geweest zijn als ze bij aankomst informatie hadden gegeven over hoe je er met het openbaar vervoer kunt komen. Ze raden een taxi aan, maar dit is niet het soort hostel waar gasten komen die meer uitgeven dan de werkelijke kosten van hun verblijf. In eerste instantie dacht ik dat er geen openbaar vervoer was, maar ik ontdekte dat er veel goede buslijnen in de buurt zijn. Ik denk dat het een welkome aanvulling zou zijn als ze de busroutes zouden vermelden bij de introductie van het hostel. Dit hostel heeft veel pluspunten en ik verwacht dat het in de toekomst verder zal verbeteren en groeien.

Het beste hostel in Miami Beach! Gezellige gemeenschappelijke ruimte: lobby, bar, binnenplaats met zwembad. Het is overal prachtig! De kamers zijn zeer ruim en comfortabel! Naast comfortabele privébedden met eigen verlichting en een plank, is er een gedeelde bank, tafels en vrij grote afsluitbare persoonlijke kasten. Er zijn twee toiletten met douches in de kamer. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en staat altijd klaar om te helpen! De kamer wordt dagelijks schoongemaakt, u kunt uw handdoek eenvoudig bij de receptie verschonen en er is ook een strandlaken verkrijgbaar. Er is een bushalte vlak bij het hostel (inclusief snelbus 150 naar de luchthaven). Ik heb in meerdere hostels in Miami verbleven. Dit hostel is absoluut de beste, op alle vlakken! Een echte aanrader! Ik ben hier zelf twee keer geweest! Er zijn nog nooit klachten geweest!

The rooms are clean, tidy, simple, staff service in place, patient and enthusiastic, there are large supermarkets around, eating and cooking are all comprehensive. Not to mention the traffic, Christmas to the end of the year, buses and light rail are free. Highly recommended!

Met een verblijf bij Bposhtels Hollywood Florida - Hostel in Hallandale Beach bevind je je op 4 min. rijden van Gulfstream Park Racing and Casino en op 5 min. van Hollywood Beach. Dit hostel ligt op 5,2 km van Aventura Mall en op 13,8 km van Hard Rock Stadium.
Plezier gegarandeerd dankzij een buitenzwembad of geniet van het uitzicht vanuit een tuin. Enkele voorzieningen van dit hostel zijn gratis wifi, hulp bij uitstapjes/tickets en een automaat.
Enkele van de voorzieningen zijn een stomerij/wasserijservice, een 24-uurs receptie en meertalig personeel. Ter plaatse heb je een beperkt aantal parkeerplaatsen.
Doe of je thuis bent in één van de 2 klimaatgeregelde kamers met kitchenettes, inclusief een koelkast en een magnetron. Bij de voorzieningen horen een bureau en de kamers worden dagelijks schoongemaakt.

The staff was very friendly and they are very helpful, dedicated good people. The area around the place is a bit dodgy though and the experience was quite unique but not bad!

This place was not what was in the pictures. The rooms just felt very uncomfortable. They did have outdoor sitting areas but they looked like the end of an after party.

Worth it! Price, is what it is. I read reviews before staying…it’s cheaper than anything by almost 100 a night. You get what you pay for.
Not unclean, not fantastic furnishings but it was good for a purpose.

GGuest UserOn Balance Gilberts was ok but I would not want to stay more than a couple of days. We where probably not its target customers. The rooms where really nice with a great view but my sister was at the end of the block right by the sewage digester for the resort which made a humming noice which was audible in the room at night, it also smelt really bad in the mornings. Admiralty this could only be smelt outside the room. Suggestion screen the digester and put some filtration for the odour. Plus point they treat the sewage. Thursday night was Ok in the bar although the rock band thought they where playing a stadium, just way too loud, when they stopped and some normality returned the bar shut at 2100, Friday and Saturday, better music but the place was rammed with a lot of kids running around. We would have gone out but the resort is isolated and its almost impossible to get a cab, if you do its very expensive and no guarantee you can get one back. If you have a nominated driver than getting out is an option. Saturday the beach, the bar where just full to bursting, first stop on the Keys out of Miami. A lot of very drunk people having a good time which is fine but if you are not one of them its no fun at all. A visible police presence kept any potential trouble from happening. We where going to go to the pool but there was no room left in the water never mind the side. It is supposed to be for residents and they are supposed to ware a wrist band but that is not enforced, very few in anyone had a wrist band on. In short its not a bad place but don't go if you want a relaxed Keys vibe, stay away from the rooms at the end of the block and only go midweek but only do that if you want to be in bed at 2100. Good points, comfortable rooms, nice views, and very nice staff.

GGuest UserExcellent hostel with a fantastic location, and for minimal money too! The staff are friendly and genuinely always ready to help. The rooms are clean, with daily housekeeping, and the beds and their ladders are sturdy. There's a hot water dispenser near the pool (next to the washing machines).

PPatrick JM100% this for the solo traveler, not for families. Great location has its pitfalls from random people hanging out late nights and you're in location of construction going on around you. No security on site.

GGuest UserThis was a nice surprise. The location was awesome and accessible to everything that I did over the few days. I was there the hammocks the beach, the pool, the paddle boards, kayaks everything made it well worth staying. The staff were friendly.. parking was abundant. And even though it was on route one, it was set off the road and quiet.

GGuest UserNice stay. We had a queen room at the back of the building, so it was relatively quiet. Not a large room, but spacious enough for my husband and I. The rooms are renovated to update an old motel and they did a good job with the theme of the pink tropical flamingo to lean into that retro esthetic. Shower was nice. Only downside was that the room had a bit of a musty smell. When we arrived the sheets were damp. Not sure of it was high humidity which caused it, but we contacted the support staff and they resolved it promptly, having the on-site housekeeping staff bring new sheets. There is also a dehumidifier in the room, so it does seem like something they are addressing. Was also excited about the coffee machine in the lounge room as other reviews had noted for a quick cup of decent coffee on the go. I was satisfied with the fresh espresso, but my husband was a little disappointed that their machine wasn't making the milk based drinks properly (probably out of milk for the days we were there?) And had to use artificial milk/creamer instead. All and all a 4/5 stars stay.

GGuest UserGreat hotel, very cozy. All entertainment and attractions are nearby, but the hotel itself is not noisy.
Good breakfast, happy hour in the evening with wine, cheese and snacks.
If there is not enough space for parking near the hotel, then a couple of blocks away you can park for $ 15 per day.
Of the nuances - noisy air conditioning in the room and a dirty pool (lots of leaves).
