i asked for an additional pillow and the reception guy told me that i have to pay for it. i asked him how much, he seems unsure and he just told me that its around rm10 which i think it's unreasonable and i didnt take it. the next morning, i asked another guy for the price of the pillow and he told me it's rm3! suggest hotel administrator to educate the staff with correct info. to avoid customer disappointment. thank you.

The hotel was a pleasant place to stay and met my expectations well. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, which made the stay relaxing. Staff were friendly and helpful, always willing to assist with any questions or requests. The location was convenient, with easy access to nearby shops, restaurants, and transport. Facilities were good and added extra comfort to the experience. Overall, the hotel offered good value for money and a smooth, hassle-free stay. I would recommend it to travelers looking for a comfortable and reliable place to stay, whether for business or leisure.

Met de zeer betaalbare prijs hebben we veel om dankbaar voor te zijn: op loopafstand van het hotel naar het winkelcentrum, culturele kraampjes, restaurants en bovenal de historische plekken van Malakka. Dat was een van de meest fantastische bonussen.

Mijn check-in werd verstoord door de ontdekking van verborgen kosten die ik bovenop de kamerprijs moest betalen: 3 ringgit, wat wel vermeld stond bij de boeking, en 10 ringgit toeristenbelasting, wat TripCom niet had vermeld. Lim, de manager bij de receptie, was zeer professioneel en tactvol in zijn poging de onaangename situatie op te lossen. Daar ben ik hem erg dankbaar voor. De kamer was mooi, ruim en schoon. Schoon beddengoed en handdoeken. Minpunten: We ontdekten kakkerlakken, klein maar toch onaangenaam. Het gratis water is verschrikkelijk en waarschijnlijk gewoon kraanwater. Het is niet drinkbaar. Het smaakt en ruikt vies. Ook een minpunt: een constant zoemend geluid in de kamer, waarschijnlijk van een pomp of radiator. Maar het was moeilijk om goed te slapen met al dat lawaai. De locatie is op 15 minuten lopen van de historische straat. Het was acceptabel voor de prijs die ik betaalde voor de reservering: 40 ringgit plus 13 ringgit toeristenbelasting. Maar de prijs ging de andere dagen omhoog, en deze kamer was het niet waard.

The hotel has provided the facilities as committed in their booking-page in the acceptable condition to their customer, i.e. me. Despite it is a budget hotel only and the overall appearance is slightly vintage :D, the room, the bed/mattress/blanket, bathroom, showering water heater, etc. are still clean and in acceptable condition. Besides, if communicated/spoken to the hotel, it has self check-in option for the check-in after business operation hour, i.e. mid night. Travelers can acquire the room key/card by themselves from a locker with a provided pin code. These enable me to have a good rest after making an urgent booking in night time, travel over 100km then reach the hotel at 1.30 a.m. mid night. The attached photos show the self check-in/out facility, public drinking-water-dispenser and fire extinguisher. Although I can't expect much from a budget, I would like to suggest that the air-con in the room to have service/maintenance so that it won't produce much noise. By the way, the noise only distract us slightly from having rest. After all, based on the offered/discounted price, the room is satisfactory and recommended.

Stayed here many times! Love the family room (2 bedrooms with fridge and microwave). This hotel is well maintained, room still looks new despite its age. The shopping mall is just across the road. Easily walkable to Jonker syreet and dutch square/atyractions. Great location at attractive room rate.

The room is clean, beds are comfortable, shampoo & soap are provided (have to bring your own dental & hair grooming products), the service is warm, friendly & helpful, and checking in & out was very quick. Also, there’s a water dispenser so you can top up water bottles and complimentary luggage storage service is provided to do more sightseeing after check out or waiting to check in. The only downside is that there’s no lift so unless you are staying in the family suites on the ground level, have to lug all your stuff up the staircase to the 2nd floor.

Clean and cozy hotel . Location situated at strategic location . Many parking . I m sure school holiday this hotel will pack with tourist . Will come to stay again. InsyaAllah
