2-Starhotels in Kampot Province, Cambodia

This hotel is okay. I found the location to be good and just a short walk to the main busy areas. The young lads who work there are lovely and always greet you when entering or leaving which is lovely. Where this place fell short for me was I had a leak in the bathroom. The water was dripping out onto the floor constantly. When I told them the bathroom floor was full of water they didn’t seem concerned or interested in fixing the solution even after looking at it - I had to ask for a room change, it was not offered. None until next day which was fine but I had to then ask for a bucket to try and prevent having to walk through water every time I needed to use the toilet. I got one and it filled it very quickly. I got moved to another room next day and had no fridge - they put one in there for me after me asking. I stayed for 4 nights and no one came to sweep my floor or provide a new bath towel/ toilet roll. Also I asked about laundry and told it be done by afternoon the next day. I left a bag of clothes. Went to collect the ‘evening’ of the next day and my bag was just left under the reception counter not done. Not sure why no-one didn’t ask each other why is this bag still here? It had been longer than 24h. I had to be up and on a bus out of Kampot the next morning :-( I have scored well because they change me to another room but I had to ask for it. That pipe need fixing - someone could slip and hurt themselves.

I have stayed here many times and its never disappointing. The staff here were very on things, the food was great and the ppol was as it always is well looked after. Only negative was there was some building work being done, but in fairness it has to be done at some time. I will stay here again as there really is no other hotel that can match the value. Keep in mind it was 20 percent more to book on trip than it was on *********** and they do take cards if that is your issue.

Het hotel is erg gezellig en schoon. Het personeel is vriendelijk, attent en altijd bereid om te helpen. Er is een café aan de overkant. De rest ligt op 10-15 minuten loopafstand. Er is een supermarkt op 10 minuten loopafstand. Dichtbij het centrum. Ik raad het hotel aan.

Het verblijf in het Old Cinema Hotel in Kampot was absoluut uniek. Deze plek heeft een geweldige combinatie van de geschiedenis van het oude cinema met moderne comfort creëert een sfeer die ik nooit in een ander hotel heb ontmoet. De kamers zijn ruime, prachtig ingericht en in elk detail gerenoveerd. De dienst verdient een groot onderscheid lelijk, handig en altijd bereid om te adviseren wat te zien in de omgeving. Ontbijten zijn vers en echt smaakvol, en de hele faciliteit is perfect schoon en voorzichtig. De locatie is ook geweldig: rustig, maar slechts een paar minuten lopen van het centrum van Kampot, restaurant en nachtleven. Het is een hotel met een ziel waar je net thuis voelt.

Отличный отель, очень хорошее расположение, рядом с набережной.

Нормальный отель для своей ценовой категории. Всё рядом. Автобус из Сиемрип привёз буквально в 50 м. от отеля. Набережная и памятник дуриану в 5мин. Рынок морепродуктов в 1 мин.Персонал внимательный, просили горячую воду для кофе, принесли чайник. Завтрак не брали.

I was really happy with this place. Great value for such a big clean and quiet room only minutes walk fron the milddle of town, and with more pleasant views than other places I’ve stayed in Kampot. No fridge, no safe, and the internet upstairs wasn’t working BUT no complaints either with the friendly staff, kind manager, and the quietness. I passed my originally scheduled hotel on this trip too and was glad I didn’t stay there because the noise fron the street was astonishing as some loud event (wedding with live band and DJs) made it hard to even hear a tuk tuk engine.

Отель понравился, интересный интерьер. Очень уютный. Большая комната, удобная постель. Все необходимое имеется. Удобное расположение, рядом рынки, набережная, много магазинчиков и кафе. Очень вкусный завтрак! Вежливый и улыбчивый персонал.

The Guesthouse is in a good location and close to lots of things. The owner was very helpful and kind. But, the guesthouse is noisy - from traffic & pubs/restaurants outside, and from guests inside.
