良かったです！なんと言っても二階建の
ホテルで、面倒なエレベーター乗らずにすみ、フロントとかも人が少なく静かで良かった！キッチンが有りバストイレが別々で自転車が借りれて最高です！次回出張時も又お世話になります。

I love Japanese style rooms. There is a basin in the room but toilets and showers are downstairs they recommended a great restaurant down the road. I enjoyed my stay and there was a man at the front desk who spoke a little English which was great. They have good coin washing and drying machines too.

這次是一個人自駕過來的，整體感覺非常方便，樓下就有停車場，對開車出行的人來説很友好。房間裏配有廚房設施，有點可惜這次行程比較趕，沒來得及自己做飯，衹是簡單買了一些食物回來吃。不過樓下就有幾家餐廳可以選擇，其實也很方便。
房間的冰箱很大，這點讓我很驚喜，買了不少飲料和冰淇淋都能輕鬆放下。整體房間空間也很寬敞，明亮又乾淨，住起來很舒適，而且環境很安靜，休息得很好。
特別想説一下樓下的温泉，真的很加分。湯泉空間很大，整體環境明亮整潔，讓人一進去就很放鬆。水温也剛剛好，泡着非常舒服，一整天的疲憊都能被慢慢帶走。泡完出來還有按摩椅可以放鬆一下，旁邊也有自動販賣機，可以隨時補充水分，這些細節都讓人感覺很貼心，體驗感很好。
這次時間比較緊，沒有多住幾天，有點遺憾。下次打算帶家人一起來，好好住上幾天慢慢享受。
另外前台接待也很親切，甚至還有會説中文的工作人員，讓人感覺很安心。整體來説性價比很高，是一次很滿意的入住體驗！

GGuest UserThis was my first and only stay at a ryokan so I don’t have much to compare it to. I chose this lodging because of the cats and good reviews on the food. The cats were really sweet and I enjoyed playing with them. I have 2 cats of my own so it was really nice. The food was so beautiful and delicious - the mushroom soup at dinner was amazing. I really enjoyed it. The private bath rooms were very convenient and open 24 hrs. I thought the facilities were clean and very pleasant. The location was very close to the central area and a quick walk to all the important sites including the bus station. The only comment I have was in the morning someone was smoking and the smell got ****** into the 2nd floor hallway so maybe more care should be taken to be sure the smoke stays outside. The host was so nice and sweet and I used google translate to ask questions. The matcha madeleines are so tasty I bought a box to take with me.

Fflower_ chickThis was my first time going to Kusatsu Onsen. I had originally booked a different inn, but I changed to this one at the last minute because the reviews on other websites were very good, and breakfast was included and it was a little cheaper.
After staying here, I definitely want to stay here again next time! The following is a long story, but I hope it was helpful.
- About a 7-minute walk from the Yubatake.
The inn is uphill from the Yubatake, but for someone in their early 30s, it wasn't too hard.
Older people might get a little out of breath.
- The inn only has stairs. The rooms only have a toilet, no bathroom.
There are two private baths, and if they are available, you can bathe until 9am.
Amenities include shampoo, conditioner, body soap,
toothbrush, razor, hair band, samue, tabi socks,
bath towel, face towel
(no face wash or makeup remover)
If you are planning to go to a day trip to the hot springs,
it is recommended to bring a face towel from the inn
(be careful not to forget to take it home!)
The breakfast was so delicious and plentiful that it didn't seem like a light breakfast.

GGuest UserI don't know where to start. Our stay was a highlight of our trip to Japan. This area is so beautiful and calm. We had a large room in the old house, very.spacious and with comfortable beds. The onsen in the room was amazing. But the best of all was the care of the owner in preparing delicious meals for dinner and for breakfast. Very generous and prepared with such attention. Each dish has its unique flavour. We stayed three nights and were truly sad to leave. It is a different world. We went on walks and we were given a tasty picnic box. Everything was wonderful. The place can be easily reached by train to Shimonita from where the owner can pick you up. Please visit this place. You will not regret it.

XXIANGA very old hot spring hotel is also the cheapest one in the area. At this price, it was in line with expectations. It arrived a half hour earlier, and it also smoothly let CI. The room is older, but there is everything there, and the bathrobes are beautiful. The hot springs are all public, there is no private soup, and the toilets are also public. There is a squat pit and a toilet. The toilets have to line up that morning. The sense of form at dinner is still in line with the routine of Japanese hot spring hotels. The dishes are ok, and the breakfast is a bit disappointing. It is all carbon water, and the hot spring eggs are not. The geographical location is an extra point. This town has many mountain roads. His home is a 1-minute walk from the bus station, and it will not be very tired to go up and down, let alone ask the hotel to drive to pick it up.
According to these circumstances, it is okay to give 4 points, but I don't recommend everyone to live, because this house has hidden charges, and in winter it will charge 500 warm house fee and 150 hot spring water tax. There is no mention on the booking page. If the hot spring tax is not unfamiliar to people who frequent Japan, what is called the warm house fee is very strange. Communicate with the store. They showed me their official website, which means that there is a statement. I said that I didn't set it on the official website. I have no way of knowing it. I prefer to believe that the owner ’s idea is pure and not intentional, but doing business is very frustrating. No wonder it takes up such a good position and does not renovate. Similar hotels that have been renovated next door can sell twice as much. Of course, the result of the matter itself is still good. This hidden charge problem was later subsidized to me by Ctrip. I praised Ctrip customer service and dealt with it in a particularly efficient and professional manner. The reasons for not recommending are: 1. Difficulty in communication. RRally LiaoThe family room didn't include breakfast. It had a spacious living room and bedroom. The free parking was a bit far, but still manageable, as the staff would help drive the car to the parking lot and carry your luggage to the room. The manager then gave a very detailed explanation of the hot spring facilities (using Google Translate), which took quite a while. They said it was a hot spring where adding cold water was allowed in small quantities! I quickly realized that to enjoy the original hot spring water, they didn't add a single drop, allowing it to cool naturally to around 45 degrees Celsius. For me, that was too hot and completely unacceptable. Luckily, we added a lot of water here, and it was comfortable. Even the kids dared to come in!

GGuest UserEverything was good to be honest. Only the check out timing was written on trip.com “before 12” however the owner said “it is 10 am”. We went out in the morning and we came back before 12, the owner removed all our belongings from the to the entrance so we felt about annoyed since we could only call us to excuse us before removing our belongings by himself. Also, it is not written on the website, but the owner asked us to pay 300 yen (150 each) as taxes for using Ofuro.

GGuest UserThe place is far from the city so it’s actually pretty hard to access to this place. But the owner is really nice, she helped us with a lot of stuff, including with luggage transfer and taking us back to the train station. She also made us food because she’s worried we’re not eating enough and it’s cold.
On top of that, if you are planning to go snowboarding or skiing there is a shuttle bus near by that takes you to the Kawaba ski resort for free!

NNat_SThe location is perfect, right on the main square. But this ryokan doesn’t ready for foreign travelers, even Signboard only in Japanese. Workers doesn’t speak English also. And there is no kayseki dinner. In the room you’ll have matcha tea and beautiful tableware, traditional clothes. For breakfast you should choose time 7:30 or 8:30 and it’s so big (2 photo), but for me was very salty. There is two onsen - outside and inside on different floors.

GGuest UserBooked the Japanese style room with toilet. Shower room has to be shared on the 2nd floor. Room has no amenities at all. Basic hair dryer and hot flask are in the communal area. We had to set up the bed ourselves. Room was dusty and was freezing cold even tho there was heater from the air con on winter’s night. There’s instructions to learn how to kill the stink bugs. The hotel facilities are good but the overall experience wasn’t good.
