Great hike - went with kids!
This was a gorgeous hike. We took four kids ages 7-13 along with four adults. There was an incline on the way out. We didn't make it all the way to the tunnel because it had already been a long day...

Pretty hike and amazing history to contemplate.
Really nice trail hike, quiet and maintained. Nice stream running alongside offers plenty of “rest” stops. Rather steep at 1 mile mark. Bring water and good hiking shoes to ensure the best experience.
