    Couldn’t get in!

    Both access gates had been secured with ropes, making it impossible to enter the site. Impressive building from the outside- we have found a very large percentage of tourist sites, galleries, museums...

    Interesting castle on Unst

    Really interesting castle to visit. Amazing views all round. Good access to all rooms and an interesting history. Well worth a visit if on the island.

    Covid castle curse, blast!

    Couldn't get passed the big padlock on the door, Covid curse. So walked around the outside and admired the stonework.

    We visited here on September 1, 2019. The castle was easy to find with Google maps and it is sign posted to assist. The interior of the castle is well preserved although it is quite dark. There is ...
