    Beautiful view

    Not much left from this fort, but it’s a 2 minutes “climb” from downtown and it offers a superb view on the town and its surroundings. No reason not to do it!

    Ruins

    Old castle ruins look allways same. Nice place for walk and enjoy sun and view. Sunrice was superb. Vist once and you see it.

    Sunrise

    Extraordinary site and sights - worth an early rise to watch the sun greet Crete from East. Great time was had.

    Well worth the time

    A gentle walk up from the back of town to a great vantage point with splendid views over the town. Great for taking photographs. Easy return journey down some steps into the centre of town.

    Walls that have seen it all, also better days...

    What you see today is only ruins. Not well signed or impressive at all. But in the central part of town there is no reason to skip a little walk up here to enjoy the remains and the views. More inter...
