Who knew that Idaho had the largest sand dune and the deepest gorge? Both within a few miles!
This is an interesting trip and easy to get there from Boise. The only negative thing is the lack of good signage off the main road.

Fairly long drive, including on gravel to a spectacular overlook. Good pit toilet and reassuringly modern fence by edge. Not hikable down. Can drive 5 miles to Roberson trail, but road is primitive...
