    Simple and modern

    The temple is located along the busy Midosuji Boulevard. The main entrance is very majestic. The architecture of the temple is rather simple and modern. The compound is very big and spacious.

    御堂筋の由来にも

    本町近くの御堂筋の西側に面して建っている浄土真宗本願寺派のお寺です。こちらの建物と真宗大谷派難波別院である南御堂を結ぶ参道を御堂筋と呼んだそうで、名前の由来にもなっています。さすがにスケールが大きく、すべてが堂々とした感じでした。
