Great views even on a rainy day

Great views for a short hike. Much bigger and impressive than I expected and was able to view Roesberry Topping and the heath to the east.

Always worth a visit

We always enjoy the walk to the top and of course the views. It is beautiful in each season. The monument is imposing. From there there are several routes to explore the moors.

ニューカッスルからウイットビーの車中イギリスにしてはとんがった丘が見えたので、翌日Mapで探してウイットビーから列車に１時間揺られて行った。別名ヨークシャーのマッターホルン、ローズトッピングに登った。そこから縦走して終点はここ、約３時間の眺めとヒースを楽しむルートである。
