Carvings are amazing

My partner Colin surprised me with this as we don't usually visit churches. The carvings around the outside were very interesting and considering how old they are they were in amazing condition.

An excellent look at medieval ecclesiastical carving, near to cathedral city of Hereford

Wonderful Norman carvings

The church was still open at 5pm and we looked at the amazing Norman carvings and gargoyles. It is on a summit looking over the valley and there is also a Motte and Bailey, which was a bit muddy.
