You can easily walk up the rocket and some of the old buildings which gives you gerat view of the surroundings.

If you are there anyway then tke a walk up to the castle but don’t make a special trip. Not much there. Restaurant was closed.

just a visit, but really worthwhile

my mom (81) just visited the castle because she did not have anything to do. Really worthwhile spot, while she was visiting, there was a special event going on, which was really, really nice!

Another free attraction

You can walk up to the castle and have a plod around for free, there is also a restaurant bar on site, well worth a visit.

Nice castle ruin that is very accessible

Nice ruin, easy to get to. One of few that is not on Rhine/Mosel. Has restaurant on site. Very nice and active church on site as well. Parking close.
