    holy place

    Opens only once a year for around 15 days during deepawali. It is the main deity of city of Hassan. Expect very long queues for darshan.

    Powerful amma temple in Karnataka, a must visit place

    I visited the temple in the first week of November. The temple is open only once a year on the eve of Diwali. Must visit temple with family and friends and it is pleasant place...

    Name of hassan came from this temple. Dedicated to goddess Amba. Beautiful temple. This temple only open once in year.
