A hidden gem to hike and bike!
This is a government facility so you cannot walk around all the areas, but there are several public walking and biking trails called Waterfall Glen you can use. It is very pretty especially in Fall! ...

not just for smart people ;-)
the kids loved it at the open house that argonne had a couple of months ago. it was educational - they got to talk with physicists and engineers - they learned a lot and had fun to boot ;-)
