Amazing Park!
We had an exceptional time exploring Calvert Cliffs State Park! There's a ton of wildlife to see, and if you make it to the beach, it's virtually private. We found some amazing fossils and 1 shark too...

The red trail is the easiest trek to the beach. It is still almost 2 miles and does have a little rough terrain. The hike is through wetlands which was surprising to us. I'm sure later in the year bug...

Cool place!
Very cool place to visit! A 2-mile hike leads you to a beach where people finds fossilized shells, shark teeth, etc. it can be a bit crowded, but it’s a very interesting experience for nature-lovers...

Physically challenging but worth the walk
Too bad the beach and scenery were only accessed after a 1.8 mile walk to and 1.8 mile walk back. We didn’t take as much because of the long walk and made the mistake of leaving our water in the car....

Very graded trails for hikers and beach goers. 1.8 miles each way so only for the hearty. Beach is bare bones-pristine. Porta potties are not kept up. Trails are meant more for hikers. Lots of pi...
