Interesting sight in the centre of a busy road.
We walked nearby. There’s a goodly length of aqueduct visible and it’s got an interesting history. If you’ve no time to walk nearby then it’s visible from a car or bus.

We only followed this by bus. I thought it was roman, as I have seen others that were. de Wignacourt was a master (?) of the Knights Hospitallers, and it was built (only!) 400 years ago.
Important historical aqueduct
The aqueduct was built 400 years ago, it is well preserved. It is easy to visit by taking a bus to Birkirkara.
Quite a Find
Something else that was built by the Knights of St John and in places has remained in tact, the aqueduct was used to carry water to Valetta. We saw quite a long stretch of it from the bus and was amaz...
