Hoewel het een beetje ver is van het dichtstbijzijnde station, is de omgeving juist rustig en voelde de plek ruim en comfortabel aan. Het is ook relatief dicht bij enkele toeristische attracties, dus ik denk dat het een goede uitvalsbasis is voor sightseeing. Het personeel was beleefd en behulpzaam, waardoor ik me op mijn gemak voelde tijdens mijn verblijf. Over het algemeen was ik zeer tevreden en zou ik hier zeker weer verblijven als de gelegenheid zich voordoet."

"Toyoko Inn never failed me. Good location, the train station is just within 5mins walking distance. F&B is below and nearby there's many. The famous ramenya and Toyama sushi shop is just at next street. Cleanliness is good for 3 stars hotel. Have a small good view from the side to see the Tateyama Alps. with this price we get breakfast as well which is worth! Check-in n out is easy, and have people to help you. Room is consider spacious. Will consider this hotel again for my next visit."

"We had a great stay at APA Hotel. It was clean with complete amenities. It has a neutral smell which is good for guests who are sensitive to scent. Everything was really nice. However, we find it quite far from the station or we just didn't figure out the best way to get there. Suggestion to travellers: look at the tram's time table to be able to go around faster and conveniently."

"Stayed here a night in Toyama before embarking on the Alpine route. Familiar, comfortable room amenities as expected from the Comfort Hotel chain, with a good breakfast spread inclusive. 5 minutes walk from Toyama JR Station and 7 minutes walk with luggage from Toyama Dentetsu line to Kurobe Gorge and Tateyama. Note that you still need to bring your luggage to Dentetsu Station for luggage forwarding service, you cannot do it from the hotel. I asked for a high floor room that overlooked the station/mountains - I did get a high floor room but a side view of the building beside the hotel. Tip: buy supplies from the supermarket in the mall opposite before going up the mountains. There are also Toyama souvenirs, great eki bentos, firefly squid and white shrimp tempura tendon and black ramen in Toyama JR Station nearby."

Beautiful location on top of Mt. Tateyama! Really glad to be able to get such a good deal including dinner and breakfast. I stayed on the top bunk, which was so stable and the ceiling was so high that I could stand totally straight on it as a 1.6m tall person. The staff were very helpful and other guests were also quite friendly. The onsen was not the most unique and relatively small, but the stay was still well worth it for the experience. The route was also mostly covered in snow, so as someone who was walking on snow for the first time, I took a while to get the accommodation, but thankfully the weather was great and the sceneries were breathtaking!

Great location, very convenient for getting around. It's right at a major intersection, so easy to find. Just 4 tram stops from Toyama Station. There's a Family Mart right across from the hotel. The room was very spacious, but the bathroom was a bit small with no counter space. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. Free drinks available until 10 PM, which is a great perk!

The hotel is really close to the station, right between the North and South exits. When you come out, head right towards the M shopping mall. Walk a few steps along the side of the mall, and you'll find the hotel diagonally opposite the Toyota car rental. The staff were all very friendly, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was quite generous, and there's a 24-hour drink bar. The hot water for the coffee machine is at the very bottom, indicated by a red button. Just across the street, in the mall, there's that delicious sushi restaurant with self-service ordering – it's fresh and tasty!

Five-star rating all around! I was a bit worried the 2019 renovation might feel old, but it absolutely doesn't – everything feels very new. They offer a pick-up service from the train station, or it's just a 300m walk. Inside the hotel, there are English-speaking staff, making communication a breeze. The buffet dinner was also good. There aren't many dining options on the hot spring street; besides one BBQ place, it's mostly set menus and ramen, so the hotel buffet is a better choice. For lunch, I recommend the cafe by the entrance; both the cakes and drinks were delicious. Since we visited in winter, we didn't book the scenic train, but we did go to the ski resort, which was perfect for kids. The foot bath next to the train station was super hot and incredibly relaxing. This is a great place to stay for two nights.

Arrived in Toyama with great excitement, ready to start my trip. The room design was a bizarre, face-to-face door structure. I was originally assigned room 611, but for some reason, it was changed to 601, which has that face-to-face door layout. The front desk's explanation was astounding: 'Because it's cheaper.' I was speechless. Isn't the price set by *them*? How does that relate to the room's structure? Did they design rooms this way just for a certain price point? To avoid any further brain-damage, I decided not to speak to them for the rest of my stay.

Just a short walk from the exit of Toyama station, turn left then go up an escalator, the hotel is on the left. I stayed for a nite in Toyama. Before i checkout from hotel, I went to Iwasehama Beach. I was only managed to onboard a 0831 tram back to Toyama station. By the time I arrived @Toyama station it was 0901. Thank goodness i booked this hotel and without missing my train @0925 to Osaka. Highly recommended. If I am coming back to Toyama definitely will stay @this hotel again. In addition to this, lots of eateries around the hotel too.

It is very old hotel and difficult to find out by driving. Hotel sign not much clear and the photo in application not the true. No free parking car. There are parking rental near hotel. It is easy and near to walk to toyama station. Can walk to find some food and convenience store not too far. Staff kindness but she can’t speak English!. We can drop the key if early check out. It is ok if want to stay for go to tateyama station.

The hotel's location is fantastic; you can see its top-floor sign as soon as you exit the south exit of Toyama Station. There are many dining options nearby, offering a wide variety of choices. The room looked quite simple and clean, but there was a large stain on the inner rim of the toilet, near the bidet spray, which was very off-putting. The room was a smoking room, so the smell of smoke was very strong. If you don't smoke, try to choose a non-smoking room. I didn't pay close attention to that beforehand.

It was convenient to buy souvenirs because there was a large shopping mall-like building right next to the station. There was no breakfast, but I was able to eat breakfast at the bakery in the building. It was good to stay in the same room with three families
