We had a wonderful family stay at Hupeng Muge Resort in Inner Mongolia. We stayed in a ground-floor yurt with a big, comfortable bed, which was perfect for our family and made the stay feel both cozy and special. The kids especially loved the experience of staying in a yurt and being surrounded by the beautiful grassland scenery. One of their favorite memories, though, was meeting the adorable kittens in the restaurant! They were absolutely delighted and kept wanting to visit the restaurant just to see them again. Overall, it was a lovely family experience and a great opportunity to enjoy Inner Mongolia in a more relaxed and memorable way. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, the comfortable accommodation, and the little moments that made the trip special for the whole family.

I had a pleasant stay at this place. The rooms and facilities were very clean, and the manager was exceptionally kind and welcoming. The service was also friendly and attentive. Although the breakfast selection was somewhat limited, the food was tasty and enjoyable. Another thing I appreciated was that the hotel was not overcrowded, which made the atmosphere quiet and relaxing. Overall, I had a very good experience and would be happy to stay here again. Hotels that often stay on business trips, the quality has been good, and the breakfast is very rich. I really like to eat the noodles they make.

After looking at several guesthouses and yurts, we finally chose Xingchen Mujia, right next to Huahai Ranch. I was worried my child wouldn't be used to staying in a yurt, so I picked a grassland accommodation with standard rooms, and the environment was very clean. Also, I saw in the reviews that their roast lamb chops were good, and the set menu offered decent value for money on the grasslands. We tried the lamb chops, and they were indeed excellent; our whole family was practically fighting over them! The owners are also very welcoming and friendly. They thoughtfully advised us on what to look out for when dealing with local drivers. The male owner is very talkative and can share many stories about the grasslands. Just a few hundred meters walk from the accommodation, there's a grassland high point where you can watch the sunrise and sunset. We took many beautiful photos there.

The overall stay exceeded my expectations. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding and bathroom were impeccably maintained. The staff provided attentive and thoughtful service. The room had good soundproofing, and the facilities were well-maintained and functional. It's suitable for both business trips and leisure travel.

This was my first time staying in a family room, and as soon as I walked in, I felt the layout was very convenient. The front desk lady checked me in quickly and gave clear directions when I asked how to get around. It was also easy to get a taxi from here or go to the East Station 🙂 The room was comfortable to stay in. The bedding was neatly made, felt very soft to the touch, and both the pillows and duvet were clean and dry. I slept really well at night, and the soundproofing was good too; outside noises barely bothered me at all 😌 The gym was a pleasant surprise. It was clean and bright, and the equipment was sufficient for a daily workout. It was very convenient to go and get some exercise after a long journey, and it didn't feel stuffy in there 🏋️ The breakfast variety was richer than I expected, with both hot and cold options, all tasty. Overall, my stay was very hassle-free, suitable for family trips or an overnight stopover 😊

The hotel's location is ideal, and the environment is pleasant. There are plenty of dining options nearby, which is very convenient. I have a few suggestions though: For our triple-bed family room, only one key card could be made, which meant all three of us had to enter and exit together. Otherwise, you'd have to go to the front desk to get a room card to enter, which was a bit inconvenient. There was also a drain smell in the room. We reported it, and a staff member came to deal with it, but we could still smell it afterwards, and we're not sure why. On a positive note, the milk tea at breakfast was delicious, and the candies at the front desk were tasty!

The hotel is conveniently located in the city center. There are local specialties all around. The front desk is very friendly and helpful. The room decoration and equipment are also very modern. There are gyms and self-service laundry rooms. It is very suitable for people who travel frequently. The hotel also has a buffet breakfast with rich variety and excellent taste! Worth recommending! The room was very clean, but it was too bright in the morning to sleep in. I'd suggest they provide eye masks. The soundproofing was, understandably, not great since it's a tent. However, the desert scenery and the sand-sliding and digging right outside were absolutely worth it for a family trip. Overall, everything was good, and the butler was very responsive to any questions. If you're only staying one night at Yuesha Island, that's enough. If you've booked a room, I recommend just getting the basic ticket, as camel rides are extra but everything else is free, and the pool is right next to the hotel. I didn't realize this and bought a package, which was a waste of money. There are evening activities, and the hot pot is pre-packaged, while the BBQ is freshly grilled – it's not cheap, about 100 RMB per person. Overall, I still think it was a great experience.

That said, all the costs were quite expensive compared to what I'm used to after living and traveling in China for more than 10 years. I would recommend the horse riding off the main area, as they suggest, but the Happy Ranch was not that fulfilling—most of the rides and activities there weren't worth the time or money. That's an external activity though, so no discredit to the hotel itself. While we didn't end up using the actual amenities, the hospitality and cultural performance alone made the visit worthwhile.
