Purposely selecting this hotel for our first night because there's a clinic inside the hotel which feels secured upon flight arrival. Hotel was big with ******* design. Love the warm greetings from the staff and appreciate their patience and reminders of slow pace to minimise the mountain sickness.
Room was incredibly spacious. Staff was so helpful to drive and lead us to the room. Showing all the equipments operations and help delivering our heavy luggages. The room has everything you need. Definitely perfect to spend your first night here after a long daunting journey.
Breakfast was absolutely delicious. You could recharge and rehydrate yourself with everything you can think of when it comes to breakfast. Both Chinese, ******* and Western. A big thumb up and highly recommend.

酒店地理位置在市區，樓下停車場隨便進出沒有閘機。
惠庭的設備太多，比如微波爐、咖啡機這些，對於普通旅客來説基本用不上，同時導致空間顯得狹小。
製氧機的出氣聲音是住了附近這麼多酒店裡麪最小的，好評。
服務方面，進門的時候停車、搬運行李都是靠自己，服務扣一分。

超級滿意的一家酒店！前台服務熱情仔細，房間也很安靜舒心，還有免費的按摩椅！自駕318累了直接躺上去按摩一天直接滿血復活！還有熱敷敷眼罩解放雙眼。酒店的充電樁也可以用，看到有電車摩託車在使用。雖然我們入住的房間沒有帶温泉，但酒店晚上還特地找了帶温泉的空房間放了純天然温泉水讓我們泡着解乏。最值得點讚的是洗衣房裡有各三台洗衣機和烘乾機的組合，長途旅行中途換下來的衣服可以直接洗乾淨烘乾帶走。基本上對我們自駕的要求來説各個方面都超預期滿足啦！臨走的時候也贈送了水和熱敷眼罩，感謝酒店關懷！下次再來旅遊會考慮繼續入住

酒店地面、地下都有車位，房間面積夠大，基本設施還不錯，有供氧；缺點是房間很熱，統一地暖無法調節房間温度。另外早餐與酒店定位和房價不匹配，連住兩天，第一天牛奶不熱，第二天牛奶徹底是涼的，煮雞蛋不太新鮮，蛋清偏淡褐色，一看就是反覆熱了幾次了，説明菜量和品控管理有待提高。

Its ******* luxury decor creates a fantastic ambiance, and the rooms are perfectly equipped with diffuse oxygen systems, which greatly alleviate any discomfort from the high altitude. You can even enjoy stunning views of the Potala Palace right from your window – truly breathtaking.
I must give a special shout-out to my exclusive butler, Sangbu, whose service was both professional and incredibly warm. He was attentive and thoughtful throughout my entire stay, providing high-altitude travel tips in advance and greeting me with a comforting hot black tea upon arrival to soothe my body and mind. He was super responsive to all my requests, whether for itinerary advice or item delivery. He paid close attention to my physical well-being and was genuinely humble and kind. The service from this local ******* butler added an extra touch of warmth to my experience.
The hotel facilities are comprehensive, with a great pool, spa, and restaurants that maintain high quality. Breakfast offers a rich variety of choices, and the location is excellent, making it very convenient to visit Barkhor Street and Jokhang Temple.
Overall, my stay far exceeded expectations. I'm incredibly grateful for Butler Sangbu's meticulous care, which added so many wonderful memories to my Lhasa trip. I will definitely choose the St. Regis Lhasa again on my next visit and highly recommend everyone to ask for Butler Sangbu!

XXiaojingerdegushiMany people, myself included, often debate between the St. Regis and the Shangri-La, as both hotels in Beijing are quite unremarkable. Ultimately, I chose the Shangri-La for its value for money. I had considered Songtsam too, but common sense told me to be a smart spender.
Although the hotel shows its age, its architectural style is grand and refined, revealing luxurious material choices. Time has inevitably left its mark, but a classic car, even when old, is still a classic car. Moreover, service and quality require time to accumulate and withstand market scrutiny. While the Shangri-La may not have many existing locations, it still holds a strong market advantage, and it takes an discerning eye to appreciate it.
My butler, Bowen, arranged my room before I even arrived. Looking out the window at the Potala Palace's silhouette in the distance immediately set the mood. He then meticulously delivered on all aspects of my package. I found Bowen to be a man of few words but very steady, highly responsive, and an exceptionally smooth driver. He never asked inappropriate or subjective questions, which I truly appreciated. Over three days, Bowen's accompaniment added a unique dimension to my Lhasa itinerary. Among the few Tibetans I've encountered, he was a definite plus. I sincerely wish him all the best in his work!
The Shangri-La in Lhasa lives up to its brand's standards and enhances the reputation of its sister properties. I'm so glad I made the right choice; this will be a memorable and wonderful travel experience.

GGuest UserThis stay completely refreshed my expectations of the mid-range hotel! The location of the hotel is too much, 5 minutes walk is the bustling market, the surrounding business districts, convenience stores are all available, travel for food is super convenient. Stepping into the lobby was cured by a faint fragrance and soft music. The front desk lady smiled very kindly. She took the initiative to help me upgrade the room type. She also handed in warm welcome tea. The check-in process was less than 3 minutes and the efficiency was super high.

Yycc007This is the smartest hotel we stayed in from Chengdu to Zuogong. There is no need to use room cards to scan faces to enter the room. All devices are controlled by voice. The room is equipped with a massage chair, which relieves the fatigue of the journey from Batang to Zuogong. The room is clean and tidy, and is equipped with two wireless charging stations. The only drawback is that the laundry room is a bit cold. Maybe there are fewer waiters working during the Spring Festival. The three young ladies at the front desk are very enthusiastic and have a good attitude. My husband has a little altitude sickness, and the young man helped with the luggage. He also prepared snacks when I went out in the morning. It was very thoughtful. If I come to Zuogong next time, I will choose to stay here again.

GGuest UserHampton by Hilton Shannan is a new hotel that will open at the end of 2024. The hotel's facilities are very complete, all of which are intelligent voice controlled. The mattress is very comfortable and clean. The room is large, and the toilet in the bathroom is a smart toilet, which is more advanced than the one in my home and can be controlled by remote control. The remote-controlled smart toilet is very suitable for me because it is difficult for me to use the toilet on an ordinary toilet. When we arrived at the hotel, we were given a free room upgrade and welcome fruit. The Coke, 7-Up, soda and mineral water in the hotel minibar were all free. The breakfast had a wide variety of dishes and tasted great. The price was well worth it. One thing worth praising is that the lobby manager also helped me book 5 rooms at Hilton Garden Inn Lhasa, the price was 80 yuan cheaper per room than on Ctrip. This service can only be praised. Next time I travel to Shannan, I will stay here again.

GGuest UserI came to Lhasa backpacking alone, initially planning to rough it in a hostel for a few nights. But then a friend practically forced me to try this Hilton, saying 'you'll know once you stay here.' And okay, I admit, I'm completely hooked!
The service was incredibly good. They proactively said, 'Let me arrange a comfortable yet affordable room for you,' and even hand-wrote a 'Lhasa guide' – telling me where to find the cheapest sweet tea, which monasteries have free entry, and which bus routes offer the best scenic views. The most touching moment was when I came back drenched from the rain one day. Immediately, someone brought me a bowl of hot herbal tea and a blanket, saying, 'Don't catch a cold, getting sick at high altitude is a hassle.' This kind of genuine care is something you might not even find in a five-star hotel.
The value for money was surprisingly good. Honestly, I expected a Hilton to cost at least several hundred, but the price I booked was much lower than I anticipated, even more cost-effective than some private rooms in hostels. The room was clean and spacious, with oxygen supply and a humidifier, ensuring a really sound sleep at night. While breakfast wasn't a lavish buffet, it offered plenty of tsampa, butter tea, and boiled eggs, enough to keep me full until the afternoon, saving me lunch money. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel, and getting to the Potala Palace or Jokhang Temple costs just one yuan, making transportation costs almost negligible.
After this stay, I feel like I hit the jackpot. Not just because it was affordable, but because of the unreserved kindness from the ******* people. Next time I visit Tibet, I won't hesitate – I'm definitely staying here again! 🙏🎒
