"Faciliteiten: De kamer is groot, dat is echt het beste! Er zijn vier flessen drinkwater beschikbaar en ze worden bijgevuld als ze op zijn. Er was geen reisadapter aanwezig, die had ik zelf mee. Afgezien van het ontbreken van een automatisch toilet, was ik erg tevreden.
Hygiëne: De badkamer is ook erg groot en alles was behoorlijk schoon, waarschijnlijk omdat het een nieuw hotel is.
Omgeving: Het hotel ligt recht tegenover de weg wanneer je uitgang D van het Wan Chai MTR-station neemt, dus het is heel dichtbij! De eerste keer was het even zoeken, maar op Xiaohongshu (een sociaal mediaplatform) staan zeer gedetailleerde routebeschrijvingen, en na twee dagen wist ik de weg perfect te vinden. Het was helemaal niet onhandig. Je kunt ook de bus nemen vanaf de luchthaven, dan moet je misschien 200/300 meter extra lopen, maar het is vrij handig! Bovendien zijn er in de omgeving veel eetgelegenheden en ook in het winkelcentrum onder het hotel zijn veel eetgelegenheden.
Service: Toen ik incheckte, vroeg ik terloops of een upgrade mogelijk was, en de dame aan de receptie regelde een upgrade naar een kamer met uitzicht op de stad, die ook iets groter was. Mijn bagage werd ook naar de kamer gebracht, wat geweldig was 👍.
Zeer tevreden, ik zal hier de volgende keer zeker weer verblijven!"

Opened in Nov 2019, E Hotel Hong Kong is located in the Sham Shui Po District of Hong Kong, a district full of human touch and rich history. It is a trendy boutique hotel with nearby must-have food, Toy Street, Cloth Street, and a stroll through the streets. The hotel is just a two-minute walk from MTR Sham Shui Po Station. The excellent location is a great choice for exploring Hong Kong and its surrounding areas.
"Hygiëne: De kamer was erg schoon en comfortabel. Gedurende ons driedaagse verblijf werd er elke dag schoongemaakt en werden de toiletartikelen vervangen. Ik zag zelfs een medewerkster de ramen in de lobby grondig schoonmaken.
Service: Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk en de receptie sprak Mandarijn. Je kon er gratis bagage opslaan en het hotel bood gratis annulering aan, wat zeldzaam is in Hong Kong.
Omgeving: Het hotel ligt in de woonwijk Sham Shui Po, dicht bij het metrostation. Metrohaltes in Hong Kong liggen niet ver uit elkaar, dus het was prima om een paar extra haltes te reizen om bij bezienswaardigheden te komen. Het was handig om onze koffers te vervoeren en het belangrijkste is dat er veel betaalbare lokale restaurants in de buurt zijn. Elke ochtend konden we beneden heerlijk ontbijten en de buurt voelde veilig aan.
Faciliteiten: De badkamer was ruim genoeg, zelfs voor een familie, wat ongemakkelijke situaties voorkomt. De kamer was groot genoeg om twee koffers open te leggen.
Als ik dan toch een minpuntje moet noemen, is het de geluidsisolatie. Je kon het verkeer op straat horen. Mensen met een lichte slaap kunnen oordopjes overwegen, al is dit vrij normaal in hotels in Hong Kong. De eerste nacht moesten we even wennen, maar daarna waren we elke dag zo moe van het wandelen dat we heerlijk sliepen."

"Hotel and hospitality costs in Hong Kong and Macau can be high, especially during the Chinese ***** New Year. I looked for an affordable hotel that wasn't too far from Hong Kong Disneyland. and Victoria Harbor (north or south side) was okay. I reluctantly chose this hotel because it was far west (Quarry Bay), but the price was in my budget.
All staff in the hotel were remarkably professional and polite, and the concierge was awesome. There were ample restaurants and great food, and the subway was just steps away from the hotel. My room was upgraded to the top floor with a harbor view, and many thanks for that.
The only drawback was the very quiet location, distant from the bustling areas of Tsim Sha Tsui and Central in Hong Kong. I felt like I was in a ghost town during the New Year at this location. I moved to Tsim Sha Tsui for my last day. My room views were great though."

YuebaidanmoshaDue to a typhoon, my flight was cancelled, and I was stranded in Hong Kong. I hurriedly booked this hotel and was pleasantly surprised by the well-designed, spacious room and quiet environment. Each floor has a water dispenser, and there are frozen foods and a microwave in the lobby, all very clean. My room had a sea view, and the beach was just a 10-minute walk away. However, there aren't any restaurants or shops nearby. The flight disruption made my trip incredibly stressful and tiring, but the peaceful stay here gave me a chance to relax. If I have the opportunity to visit Hong Kong again, I'll definitely consider this hotel first—though I hope next time it won't be due to unforeseen circumstances.

It's incredibly convenient to access the hotel lobby directly from the airport via a connecting walkway. The room temperature was pleasant, and the bedding quality was excellent. It's a great choice for a layover.

TuziThe stay was quite good. The room was a comfortable size, not too big and not too small, with a reasonable layout. The only downside was the very small bathroom and this room type didn't have a bathtub. Coincidentally, the Chelsea football team was also staying at the Kerry, so there were always some enthusiastic fans downstairs, but the hotel managed security well. Breakfast was quite varied.

There are great food options nearby, like Wah So's Clear Broth Beef Brisket and the Black Sesame Ice Cream from Warm Heart Cheese.
The service attitude, from the lobby to the doorman, was very kind and friendly.
The room was small but had everything you needed. The bed was a bit short though, my 170cm kid's feet were hanging off the end! But overall, it was a good stay.

Guest UserThe hotel's location is very convenient, with clear signs from the Hung Hom MTR exit. It's near Hong Kong Polytechnic University, though the school itself isn't open for public visits. Dining and getting around are easy, and the hotel also offers a shuttle bus to Tsim Sha Tsui. The hotel facilities are comprehensive; the room is quite spacious for Hong Kong standards, featuring a bathtub and a refrigerator. I brought my own adapter, as the room doesn't provide toiletries or bottled water, but you can purchase them at the front desk if needed. There's an outdoor pool on the 9th floor, and some rooms offer sea views. The service was generally good, though a few individual staff members were slightly less impressive, which might be a personal quality issue. I stayed for 6 days in total, and on the last day when I extended my stay, the bathrobe was removed and not replaced, but overall, I was very satisfied. I would definitely prioritize staying here again on my next visit.

An established resort hotel. It offers pretty good value for money, though breakfast is a bit pricey and the selection isn't particularly varied. The nearby beach is nice for a stroll. There are many dining options close by, but they can be a bit expensive and charge a service fee. It's a great place to relax and unwind at a leisurely pace. The rooms have balconies, so on rainy days you can't see the mountains, but on clear days you get views of both mountains and water. Birds fly to the branches outside the balcony, adding to the tropical vibe.

Elaine&EthanI love staying at the Explorer's Lodge every time I visit Hong Kong Disneyland, and it's consistently satisfying 👍. The beds are huge, two 1.5m beds, so even with my 13-year-old daughter, who's practically an adult, three adults and one child can stay comfortably. The room is clean, and the shops at the Explorer's Lodge, along with the Disneyland surroundings, offer 70% off on some items – it's an amazing deal! My kids bought a lot. The breakfast at Explorer's Lodge is also more cost-effective than the buffet, highly recommended.

Considering Hong Kong's real estate prices, this place offers fantastic value and a lovely environment. Staying here in the mountains gave me a taste of what it's like to live in a wealthy neighborhood. Transportation is also very convenient, with a bus stop right outside and the hotel providing a shuttle service, which is great.

LinyuRINGOI forgot to take pictures of the room... It's a bit of a walk from Sha Tin Wai MTR station, about ten minutes, but the hotel itself is surrounded by many restaurants, making it easy to find food.
The hotel seems quite old, and some facilities show their age. The air conditioning is very noisy. Although I booked a double bed, it was actually just two soft single mattresses pushed together. The pillows were also very flat and soft, making it difficult to sleep. Adjusting the water temperature in the shower was a bit tricky.
Even without putting up the 'please clean' sign, towels were exchanged daily.
For environmental reasons, the hotel doesn't provide toothbrushes, toothpaste, or power adapters for free. There was also no complimentary bottled water in the room upon check-in (though there is a tap with drinking water, so you can fill your own bottle). I recommend bringing your own.
