Hotels met Pools in Central Province, Sri Lanka

We loved this hotel to the point we would return to Kandy to stay here again! The staff were all friendly, helpful and professional, the hotel and rooms were all clean and well maintained and the food at both dinner and breakfast was delicous. Overall we loved out stay here and wish we could have stayed longer. *we also bought some jewelry from the shop in the hotel which was good too.

Een prachtig hotel dat vanaf de straat moeilijk op te merken is en met een discreet bordje. Zoals verwacht werd het bij toeval gevonden en geboekt, en helaas slechts voor één nacht. Vriendelijk personeel dat u zorgvuldig begroette en u vóór de vergadering instructies stuurde over wat u moet doen als u op een ongepland tijdstip arriveert. De gehuurde tuk-tuk werd naar de achtertuin gereden en voor vertrek parkeerde het personeel hem zelf naast de uitgang (gezien het gekke verkeer, een diepe buiging hiervoor 😅). Ze lieten ons zien waar we tegen een goede prijs dollars konden inwisselen voor roepies. De kamer is prachtig, twee tweepersoonsbedden voor twee waren niet zo ongebruikelijk, ik vraag me alleen nog steeds af waarom ze zich niet beperkten tot één bed) Het zwembad op het dak met uitzicht op de stad verdient speciale aandacht, helaas heb ik kan de keuken niet beoordelen, we kwamen laat aan en we aten in de stad en vertrokken vroeg, waarbij we ons beperkten tot koffie, maar de algemene indruk was buitengewoon positief

Room is spacious, have all amenities and toiletries (just missing the slippers). It have heater instead of air conditioner as there is mostly cold here. Centralized control system is a plus. Washroom is comparatively much smaller and just the basic size. Cons: The main thing was the management which was poor and mostly looked after only locals as we came to know by our driver. At check in the room key didn't worked 3 time and they have to call some technical guy to resolve the issue which was actually the issue in room door, still they gave us the same room. When we go to food court for breakfast in morning, it was only 4 set items only which also they decide they want to give or not. For every request it was a no even when we are willing to pay extra for the same. For the meal we had we asked extra sambhar they deny they can't give. We asked for sandwich or any breads which was also unavailable. But after sometime, they give sandwich to some other persons. When we confronted them, they told it is in different meal, we asked to give only sandwich they outright denied, when we said give meal they say come after 11. After complaining and telling at the reception his response was mostly defending and at last only told you can discuss with senior manager. It was our time to leave the city as per our itinerary so we left the place as it is.

We booked a room with a view and it certainly delivered. We had a spacious balcony and could see so much, happily have sat outside for hours and luckily even the sunrise was watchable. Service was really good and staff were extremely helpful. Room was very spacious, bath was amazing and also came with the view. Other facilities we made the most of included the infinity pool, which again came with the view. It was difficult getting to the hotel but that’s what you expect when it’s on a mountain. We would stay again!

The room looked clean and big, but it smelled very bad, and the air conditioner was very powerful! The buffet at our own expense was really great, and the price was not expensive. The food was better than in China!

Een prachtige villa en een zeer gastvrije gastheer. Het is er heel schoon, gezellig en mooi. Hij hielp ons zelfs met het bestellen van eten tijdens een stortbui en vroeg hoe het met ons ging toen we vertrokken. Ze kwamen 's ochtends aan en bereidden een heerlijk ontbijt terwijl we nog sliepen. Het voelde alsof we bij onze Sri Lankaanse vrienden op bezoek waren. :) Het huis heeft alles wat we nodig hebben; we zouden er graag langer blijven!

Прекрасный отель, классный номер - брали делюкс с видом на горы ) Персонал очень доброжелательный, приветливый, завтраки шикарные 😊 На крыше бассейн с фантастическими рассветами и закатами 😍 Так же на крыше есть бар с нереальными видами) Отель находится на возвышенности, брали всегда такси и все ок, до центра не далеко.

The hotel is exceptionally clean, and the room size is suitable for three guests. The overall atmosphere is very pleasant, with a welcoming ambiance throughout the property. The staff are friendly, professional, and highly attentive. The rooftop pool offers a wonderful setting with a great view, and the food is excellent—particularly the dinner served at the rooftop restaurant. Overall, the hotel offers very good value for money considering the quality of service and facilities.

Blijf drie nachten. Het hotel is een erfgoedhotel, maar niet aanbevolen voor mensen die bang zijn dat alles alleen blijft. De locatie is perfect, bij de hoofdingang van de Tempel van de Tand. Eén mannelijke GSA reageerde echter niet goed toen ik hem vertelde dat de telefoon kapot was, de koelkast binnenin erg heet was en het lampje in het toilet vaak kapot was. Totdat ik uitcheckte, was de telefoon nog steeds kapot en de koelkast binnenin erg heet. Maar het lampje werd gerepareerd door een elektricien die was aanbevolen door het mannelijke kamermeisje, niet door GSA.
