Hotels met Pools in East Kalimantan, Indonesia

Als een stel zijn wij al een poosje op vakantie in Indonesie en hebben al een paar hotels op diverse eilanden genoten. Wij hebben bij Pentacity Hotel in Balikpapan voor 5 nachten geboekt en wilde in eerste instantie nog een paar dagen bijboeken. Dat hebben wij echter niet gedaan, vanwege de harde muziek vanaf de 7e verdieping. De bar bij de pool start met muziek vroeg in de middag tegen 20.00 uur gaat de volume nog verder omhoog. Je kan echt niet meer in je kamer blijven en je bent daarom gedwongen om het hotel even te verlaten. Pas na 22.00 u gaat het geluid weer omlaag. En als er nu veel bezoekers zijn dan kan je het nog begrijpen. Maar in die periode zijn er juist bijna niemand aanwezig bij de pool. Erg vreemd om dit zo te blijven doen. Niet echt klantvriendelijk. Daarnaast wordt het ook matig schoon gemaakt. De meubels in het te kleine toilet is vies en vertonen gebreken. Balkon deur was ontzet en kon niet open. Deze is overigens na melding wel vast gemaakt en de kieren en randen dicht gekit. Kamers worden aangeboden met balkon, maar daar gaan zitten gaat echt niet. Bed is niet stevig, kraakt en beweegt als je je omdraait. De Airco staat in de lobby en het restaurant erg koud ingesteld. Neem bij het ontbijt een truitje mee of gaat buiten zitten. Let wel daar wordt wel veel gerookt. Er wordt elke dag dezelfde deuntje als achtergond muziek in het restaurant afgespeeld. Beetje eentonig als je al de hele week in het hotel verblijft. Kleine moeite om het aan te passen lijkt mij. Er zijn uiteraard ook positieve dingen te melden: Personeel zijn super vriendelijk en heel behulpzaam. Zwemmen in het zwembad is heel fijn. Met uitzondering van de harde muziek dan. Dicht bij is een shopping mall met veel winkels en restaurants.

Heel goed, een aanrader.

Location is wonderful. But little dirty and too much noisy. I can hear clearly the outside store music sound until late time and traffic sound also. For the more, The room was not soundproofed at all, so I could hear sounds from the room next door and the hallway very clearly.

1. 오픈한지 1주일밖에 안된 따끈따끈한 호텔이었습니다. 룸을 포함해서 모든것이 깨끗하고 좋았어요. 2. 위치는 공항에서 20분정도 거리였고, 데라완을 가는 항구에서는 5분정도 거리였는데 시내 중심부에 있어요 3. 음식은 나갈 필요없이 레스토랑을 이용하는게 제일 좋은거 아니었나 싶습니다. 베라우가 딱히 이렇다할 음식이 없는데 호텔은 피자, 버거, 밥 종류등 모든 종류가 있기 때문이고 맛도 좋았어요. 이슬람문화이기 때문에 어디서든 알콜은 팔지 않습니다.ㅎ 4. 직원들 수준이 생각보다 좋았어요. 물론 경비는 영어를 잘 하지 못합니다. 5. 룸내부에는 물병이 있는데 물은 복도나 엘리베이터 주변에 배치되었있으니 필요한 만큼 가져다 마실수 있습니다. 저는 기계작동이 어려워 물병을 가지고 레스토랑에 내려가 물좀 달라고 부탁해서 마셨어요. 3층 전체가 미팅룸, 레스토랑으로 되어 있고, 중앙에 유리박스 흡연실과 베란다 쪽에서 흡연이 가능합니다. 6. 1층은 막 들어가면 로비가 있고 오른쪽으로 쭉 가다보면 수영장과 운동실이 있습니다. 7. 다음에 베라우에 간다면 꼭 다시 이 호텔을 이용하고 싶습니다.

aku pesan kamar no smoking. namun kamar nya ngak ada karena habis... kita tau kamar di rawat 2x agar tidak bauk rokok. namun karena 1 lantai khusus kamar perokok. ac nya bauk rokok.. malam ac saya matikan karena bila ac nya hidup. kamar bauk asap rokok. 2 malam saya tak bisa tidur. karena di berikan kamar smoking. mau pindah kamar no smoking hanya ada tipe atas. dan harus tambah 300rb/malam. makasih.

Di sambut dari keluar dari mobil depan hoter...resepsionis nya ramah2...cuman tuk restonya pesanan makan dan minuman agak lama kecuali air mineral...semoga kedepannya bisa lebih cepat tuk pelayanan restonya🙏🙏🙏

Kamer die we altijd herinneren! River view met hoge verdieping die we willen.. bonus, onze kamers zijn recht voor de lift Kinderenzwembad en ontbijt zijn ja! :)

I stayed in a room with a view of the Mahakam Bridge, and it was absolutely stunning at night. The dining area also offers the same beautiful view. The room was bright and clean, and the service was friendly and excellent.

A big modern hotel in Samarinda. The location is a bit far from the city centre (20 mins driving while the traffic low and 30-35 mins in the rush hour). Although it’s located just above the Big Mall, the hotel has poor accessibility, especially for pedestrians and online food couriers because they have to go through the car ramp to get into the hotel’s front door! The room is modern, clean, and have great amenities. But, the noise from outside the room could be heard easily since it has poor soundproofing. When i checked in, it took more than one hour since i have to lined up into the queue and the process itself took a long time. It was the longest time i spend for check in! The queue is only five person in front of me and they opened all the check in counters.

Choose a non-smoking room, but the room is still smelly. I don't know if they change the blanket or not. If you have a morning flight, I don't recommend this hotel because at the bottom of this hotel there is a small bar and live music, the bass of the music echoing into the room.
