"Great location if shopping centres and city life is your thing but the street noise may be disturbing. Very standard amenities, small pool with no view, large gym, a sauna that took ages to heat up, needs upgrade/fixing. Great breakfast buffer with wide selection of Chinese and Western dishes. Overall a 4* experience, as expected, so no major +/- issues. If you want a 5* accomodation at not different price point other options are available in Nanning. I had very good experience with Ming-Du, not as central locationl as Marriott, but quieter, better views, and overall a more elevated environment."

"It's literally the nicest hotel in the area despite being expensive. Our room overlooked the sunset and the view was beautiful. The front desk staff efficiently checked me in, making me feel right at home.Special thanks to Jackson, who made the stay perfect and was helpful every step of the way! I'll definitely come back. Perhaps the most pleasing aspect was the hotel's quiet atmosphere that allowed us to relax and enjoy ourselves. There were no sounds of traffic or construction to distract or annoy us, and that was a pleasant change from our normal routine. We are happy to recommend to everyone that they book their next stay for rest and recreation at the Nan Ning Shangri-La Hotel. "Wij verbleven van 8 t/m 11 mei in dit hotel. Goede locatie. We namen een kamer met uitzicht op de rivier, het was erg mooi. Zeer beleefd, attent en vriendelijk hotelpersoneel. Tijdens het inchecken kregen we cadeautjes met snoepjes, het was erg leuk. We hebben ook gefilmd in het hotel in klederdracht. Wij, als buitenlanders, vonden het erg leuk. De kamers zijn schoon, goed beddengoed, comfortabele bedden, de zithoek bij het raam is gewoonweg magisch gezellig, met een prachtig uitzicht en een theetafel. Toen we uitcheckten, kregen we lokale thee. Het was natuurlijk heel erg gezellig. Het hotelgedeelte is erg schoon. En een groot pluspunt is dat een deel van het personeel Engels spreekt. The amenities were comprehensive, and the bed was spacious and soft, ensuring a very peaceful and comfortable night's sleep. The room also features a private balcony with stunning views outside – a lush, green landscape that felt like a secret garden, truly maximizing the ambiance. The hotel also boasts a swimming pool where children can splash around and have a fantastic time. Overall, the value for money is outstanding, making it the perfect choice for a family trip. Guangxi is such a pleasant place. After attending a concert in Nanning, I thought I'd come to Yangshuo for a vacation. For me, a good hotel can meet many needs. From hardware to software, thoughtful service makes you feel more at ease. From the moment I entered the hotel, I felt that thoughtfulness. I'm quite a stickler for details. The hotel's cleanliness, the maintenance of its public areas, and even the toiletries are all meticulously chosen. The refrigerator, kettle, and hairdryer are all carefully prepared and not just thrown in. Also, the bathrobe is incredibly comfortable! That's a rare find! I booked a room with a terrace, and sitting there in the afternoon or early morning, you can really feel the tranquility of the mountains. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and there was also an afternoon tea (the desserts were tasty too). Initially, when I came to Yangshuo, I only felt that the scenery was beautiful. But staying at this hotel, I truly realized that even in such a so-called 'paradise,' you can experience a different, perhaps even more luxurious, feeling. Honestly, if you want an excellent experience when you come to Yangshuo, you can choose this hotel. It's incredibly convenient whether you're going to eat at Ten-Mile Gallery or explore the old town. More importantly, the scenery viewed from within the hotel is absolutely twice as wonderful, without the crowds and noise (a true resort destination!). You really can fall in love with a city because of a hotel. Everything above is my genuine feeling. The hotel's attention to detail is truly heartfelt, especially the large public lawn in front of the hotel, which gives a very relaxing and pleasant feeling. Considering the guest's experience, thumbs up! (I'll attach some photos, all from my personal experience, for your reference.)

Five-star rating plus 9 photos for my favorite B&B and its lovely hostess! Our family trip to Guilin Yangshuo this time had its ups and downs with the weather. It didn't rain as forecasted, but it was incredibly hot during the day. We ended up spending a lot of time at the B&B, but we had an absolutely wonderful experience. First off, the guesthouse was spotless, and everyone's service was incredibly kind and thoughtful. We booked the New Chinese Suite, which had large floor-to-ceiling windows. In the afternoon, we were even treated to an afternoon tea. After resting, we rented electric scooters from the B&B and went cycling along the Ten-Mile Gallery, which was fantastic. The highlight was definitely after dinner, enjoying the hostess's bartending skills at the B&B's bar. She's beautiful, has a cheerful personality, and makes excellent cocktails. We kept enjoying drink after drink into the evening. Next time when it's cooler, I'll definitely be back to Yangshuo for rafting and to stay at this B&B again. See you then!

This hotel in Yangshuo is absolutely fantastic! The room was clean and comfortable, with stunning mountain views. Waking up and opening the window to a lush green landscape was so relaxing and refreshing. The front desk offers electric bike rentals that are in excellent condition with plenty of battery life, and at a great price. It was super convenient for riding to Yulong River and Ten-Mile Gallery, allowing us to enjoy the scenery with the wind in our hair – so free and enjoyable. The service was thoughtful and attentive, making getting around incredibly easy. The value for money is unbeatable; choosing this place for your trip to Yangshuo is definitely the right call!

😅 I thought I booked a room with a view, but it turns out the 'view' was *inside* the room 😂, not outside. Plus, there's a hospital right next door 🏥🫣😓 **Facilities:** The room's facilities are very well-designed. The shower, toilet, and sink are all separate, which is great for a family with different needs using them simultaneously. The breakfast buffet didn't have a huge variety of dishes, but the taste was decent. The freshly made Guilin rice noodles were delicious, and the takeaway coffee was a nice touch (saved me some money 😁). **Cleanliness:** The hygiene was spot on, but I do have one small suggestion: the sofa cover in the living room was a bit scratchy 🥲. **Environment:** The view outside the window wasn't great. The room I booked must be one of those 'influencer' rooms 😉, as I took some great videos and photos inside (they turned out really well)! 😊 **Service:** After checking in at the front desk, a butler helped me with my luggage and showed me to my room. They also explained the hotel's facilities and services, which was very thoughtful. The butler's responses to messages were also very prompt 😊. Very, very, very, very satisfied! They even washed my little one's clothes and delivered them back to the room! 😚😚 Overall, the experience was pretty good. And they even gave me some Luo Han Guo tea when I checked out 🍵😊. The soundproofing in the rooms is excellent, ensuring an undisturbed night's sleep. The in-room amenities are comprehensive, with a smart home system and TOTO brand bathroom fixtures, providing a wonderful living experience. If you're looking to relax, unwind, and escape the city noise, this is the perfect place. Its location is another huge plus, making getting around incredibly convenient. You can rent an electric scooter right outside to explore the Ten-Mile Gallery, and the Yulong River bamboo rafting dock is within walking distance. Attractions like the Big Banyan Tree, Moon Hill, Ruyi Peak, Silver Cave, and Impression Sanjie Liu, as well as West Street, are all just a short drive away. After a careful selection process, I ended up with a truly disappointing hotel! I arrived full of expectations, but upon checking in at the lobby, the whole place felt more like a guesthouse. The service team also lacked professionalism and didn't live up to the hotel's price tag. After check-in, a staff member took my luggage to the room. The room lighting was dim and uncomfortable. The guest room was right by the road, and the soundproofing was terrible; I could clearly hear all the traffic. The bathroom size was decent, but the toilet wasn't smart, was difficult to flush, and splashed water! The TV was small, but you could cast to it. And believe it or not, the complimentary welcome fruit was rotten! There were no trash cans in the room, so I had to take all my trash to the bathroom. Dinner was the most disheartening part! It was incredibly bad! Every single dish was unappetizing, with the only acceptable one being the stir-fried bok choy. The moment the first dish arrived, I knew it was going to be a disaster. The serving order was completely messed up; cold dishes weren't served first. Instead, they brought out a hot stir-fried beef dish, and I immediately knew it was over. When ordering takeout, I was told it could only be delivered to the guardhouse, but I could contact guest services to have it brought to my room. For a resort-style hotel, breakfast only runs until 10:00 AM, whereas most resorts serve breakfast until at least 11 AM or later. However, after that first dinner, we didn't even bother with breakfast, and we avoided every meal afterward, afraid of hitting another culinary low.

This Luxury Collection hotel is truly fantastic! The moment you step in, you're hit with an incredible sense of design; every snap is Instagram-worthy. The staff's service is exceptionally personalized – they seem to anticipate your needs without you even asking. Breakfast is bountiful, offering both local specialties and Western pastries, and everything tastes authentically Guangxi. The room is spacious and comfortable, the bedding is so inviting you just want to sink in and sleep, and the high-floor views from the window are absolutely stunning. I initially expected a hotel of this caliber to be a bit cold, but every single detail made me feel so warm and welcomed. My overall impression after staying here is: worth every penny! I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit, and I highly recommend it to all my friends coming to the area!

The room was clean and tidy, and the environment was pleasant. The butler service was excellent, always asking about our needs. They have a playground for kids, a paper fan painting activity, and an infinity pool. On a clear day, you can even see Elephant Trunk Hill. Shopping nearby is very convenient, and it's close to all the scenic spots. We enjoyed the sights and sounds while eating and drinking along the way.
