Hotels met parking in Canterbury, New Zealand

The location is very good. Receptionist carried out her duty very well and also provided good info regarding car parking. Ah! We were shocked by the smallness of the unit!! The only other place I have seen a similar one was in Japan. I am just wondering why Accor has to go to the extent of maximizing profits with offering of cramped spaces both in bathroom & room.

This was by far the best hotel I stayed at in New Zealand. Compared to other Hilton properties, the bed here was noticeably larger and more comfortable. I stayed in a twin room, and each bed was around 1.2 to 1.5 meters wide, whereas other hotels only offered very narrow single beds (about 0.9 meters). There was also plenty of space between the beds, which made the room feel much more comfortable. The room was very clean, well-equipped, and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The location was also decent, making it a very convenient and pleasant place to stay overall. I would highly recommend this hotel — especially if you’re looking for a comfortable and restful experience.

De kamer was erg mooi en schoon, maar $30 per nacht voor parkeren, geen slippers, tandenborstel of water? Dat is echt absurd! Vergeet niet om deze dingen zelf mee te nemen. Het hotel ligt wel dicht bij het vliegveld. En het Novotel ligt vlak naast de deur! Er zijn ook veel parkeerplaatsen.

Room was large, and had ample space to open 4 large suitcases. Room was clean too, and staff was friendly and helpful. Arrived at 1.30pm and was able to check in early. Only downside - Hotel parking is at the private open space adjacent to the hotel but could be better if within the building itself and sheltered.

Good location and walking distance to the tourist attractions and shopping Street and tram.. and 10 min walking to Christ church.

De kamer heeft een beetje geur. Ik raad je aan om geen ontbijt mee te nemen. Dit is het mediterrane ontbijt dat ik heb besteld. Haha, de helft ontbijtgranen en de helft jam. Ik kon het ontbijt echt niet doorslikken. Ik bestelde een banaan en 2 messen. Natuurlijk hebben ze het in beslag genomen omdat ik de kom pap (het hele ontbijt) niet heb opgegeten. Het tuinhotel heeft alleen een naam, er zijn geen bloemen of gras. De meeste gasten die hier verblijven zijn Indiërs, en de bezettingsgraad is redelijk goed haha٩(๑^o^๑)۶

A great hotel situated on the edge of the city meaning it’s quiet but still accessible. The king size room was lovely and spacious and the bed was comfortable and big. Toiletries were great quality and the service was suitably attentive. Only thing that was challenging was the unavailability of premium breakfast times due to the Christmas season, meaning 2 out of 4 mornings we skipped breakfast due to having to sit super early or towards lunch. Would definitely recommend and would very happily stay here again.

A very enjoyable comfortable stay, excellent dining and very attentive staff. I highly recommend The George for any visit to Christchurch.

Nice hostel in convenient area of the city! The hostel is clean and every floor has its own kitchen and living room. Not very social but good and clean Toilets are the best ones I saw in many hostels, just perfect!

We added a one day stop in Christchurch to enjoy a little of the city before our flight home. So happy we did and chose this hotel to be close to walk to most places. Checking un was fast and convenient and rooms although a little old were still well kept and super comfortable. I love that New Zealand gives fresh milk for morning tea or coffee. We were lucky to get the city on a holiday so was super quiet and lots of markets and events on. Definitely recommended as a 1-2 night stay. Make sure to checkout the cool food market too.
