Located in Hiroshima's bustling commercial district, this hotel is right next to the bus center and Kamiya-cho Sogo department store, making it super convenient for shopping and getting around. The rooms are spacious, bright, clean, and tidy, with pleasant views from the window. Highly recommended!

I really love this hotel! The breakfast spread is fantastic and includes local Hiroshima specialties. They also have a complimentary drink machine available from 2 PM to 11 PM. The room condition was excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly. I highly recommend it! There's a large store nearby called Fuji Grand with a supermarket that's open until 11 PM, which is perfect for grabbing drinks and fruit after a day of sightseeing. If I had to pick a downside, it would be that it's a bit of a walk to the tram stop, and you need to take a bus to Hiroshima Station. However, if you're flexible with your time, you can actually walk to the downtown shopping street in just 10-15 minutes. I truly enjoyed my three-day stay here.

Initially i wanted to book a hotel somewhere in the downtown. But the breakfast and the dinner here caught my eyes. Also the view of the inland islands. I stayed 2 nights here, I came from Fukuoka where my plane landed. The taxi fare from hiroshima station to the hotel is about 3000-3500 yen. There is free hotel shuttle bus but i did not take it. Also, there is public bus stopping right outside the hotel (which i found out later). Though the hotel is old, it is well kept and clean. The staff were very eager to assist the guests and there is always a smile on the face. I was given the 17th floor facing east. But the morning sun was too bright. Though it didnt matter much to me. Another reason i booked this hotel is they have speed boat counter for Miyajima island. I booked one way there as I have the JR pass for return and I have plans after. One way ticket from hotel to Miyajima is 2400 yen and return is 4500 yen. There is a convenience store in the hotel. But I believe they closes at 2200. Also, there is hot spring in the hotel. There is a usage charge for it, but i do not recall the price as i did not use. I went up to the bar on the 1st night. The view was great. Most importantly the price are reasonable too. For both days, i ate at the chinese restaurant for breakfast. 1st day was Japanese breakfast set. 2nd day was Japanese buffet style breakfast. They were delicious. The western and Japanese buffet breakfast at the top floor were very crowded. But they had more selections. For my return trip to Beppu, I used the concierge (bell desk) to send my big luggage to Fukuoka. The price was okay. I took the hotel shuttle bus go Hiroshima station. It was a pleasant ride. Do take note it is first come first serve and there’s a queue. I will stay here again, should I come back to Hiroshima. Thank you.

Great room. It was clean and cozy. The staff were polite and friendly. Free coffee from a machine is available at the front desk. A 7-Eleven is conveniently located right next door. The room doesn't have wardrobes or much space for large suitcases, but it's perfectly fine for travelers with smaller luggage. The hotel offers two washing machines and two dryers; however, expect queues in the evenings, so doing laundry in the morning or afternoon is recommended. Overall, I have wonderful memories of my stay.

Staying at Hotel Granvia Hiroshima again was definitely the right choice! The hotel has direct access to the station, making transportation incredibly convenient with many options available. Shopping and dining in the surrounding area are also super handy. The room I booked was quite good, with a spacious view. Both the hotel's breakfast buffet and the executive lounge's food were excellent! It was a very satisfying experience.

The Moderate cabin size capsule was a lot better with the locker gate right under the bed with lock and key. No more climbing up and down capsules, while noises from other guests were less with more space. It's also located on 7F, so elevator wait times start becoming an issue. Overall I like the Moderate cabin size better. Staff continues to be accommodating with luggage storage Location was also accessible enough to make 1st ferry to Miyajima Island first thing in the morning and still be back at a reasonable time in the evening

Ok, this one is difficult to rate. The room comes with a magnificient view on the sea. That's what made me chose that place. But it is remote. So, if you have no car, except walking a good 2km from the train station along a road. There is nothing to eat there. It is a stop/sleep/leave concept of hotel. Once again, if you have no car... you won't walk back the 2km to find something to eat. You sleep on the floor. No surprise here and I slept particularly well so, no complains. Just be aware of that. Toilets, bath, all is shared. Room are old but all ok and one of the biggest space I got during this trip. Furnitures are also old. You may feel like you are staying at grandma place for a while. The building, from the 70's probably, is not sound proof. You may enjoy your neighbor sleep. As I did. I did book for 2. Probably because Trip was not proposing other option or because it was the cheapest one, not sure. The lady at the entrance kept me waiting for 15mn for that reason showing that she was embarrassed to give me the keys for that already paid room. This moment was uncomfortable to say the least. The remote part, the furnitures style, the oldish atmosphere, the old room door still requiring a key and that squeak a little bit... may not please everyone. It comes with its sweet creepy feeling. Not an hotel for everyone. But damn, the view in the morning... splendid.

Good sized single room with large bed, soffa, tv, fridge and bathroom. A/c available but not needed in mid-April. Japanese style dinner and breakfast included in room price. Very helpful reception. Men's spa on 15th floor. Would definitely choose this hotel if I return.

On my check in I was extremely in shock from the place and I did complain about it. But than after a night, I discovered what a fantastic location is the place as well as a change in the staff attitude. Location is amazing, very clean place and very helpful and kind hearted staff

I visited for a baseball game. It was my first time in Hiroshima, so I chose this hotel based on its vibe. It's within walking distance of the restaurant district known as 'Ekimae West.' It takes about 15 minutes to walk to Mazda Stadium, but it's definitely within walking distance. I also walked to Nagarekawa (or Nagarekawa?), the downtown entertainment area. I think it's a perfect location for sightseeing, no matter where you're going. There seems to be a path connected to the underground passage, but I couldn't figure it out until the end. The staff were very polite and helpful with all my questions, which left a great impression. They even held my luggage after the baseball game, so it was a well-thought-out and convenient location. The room was, of course, clean. There was also a welcome coffee station, and the hotel itself was calm and not rushed. Including the cost-performance, I'd give it a 100/100.
