It was a pleasant stay. The staff was welcoming and accommodating. Wide selection of food from the breakfast buffet. There was a play room for kids and of course the swimming pool. Good location not far from the town center and from the beach. Well recommended! Hope to stay there again.

A stylish hotel, in a fabulous location! We could see Mt Etna from this gorgeous hotel.
Parking was free.
From the time we arrived until the time we left, we could not fault it.
I highly recommend this really beautiful hotel.

De kamer was erg stil en ik durfde niet luid te praten. De omgeving was ook erg goed. De deur ging open naar de zee. Het was huisdiervriendelijk en het personeel was zeer attent en smaakte goed (persoonlijk denk ik dat het kosteneffectiever is dan het buffet). Het was de eerste keer dat ik er maar twee nachten verbleef, wat niet genoeg leek uitgangspunt. Qua vervoer kun je het beste met de auto rijden, gevolgd door treinen en taxi's.
Het zwembad is erg schoon, het strand is ook erg schoon en je kunt zelfs veel vis zien

De accommodatie ligt in het open landschap buiten de bebouwde kom. De gastvrijheid en service waren uitstekend. Ze waren vriendelijk en attent op al onze verzoeken. Onze kamer was een Junior Suite.
Eerlijk gezegd had ik er meer van verwacht. De woonkamer en badkamer bevinden zich op de begane grond, terwijl de slaapkamer boven is. 's Nachts is het lastig om naar de badkamer te gaan of iets uit de koelkast te halen, omdat je de trap af moet. De inrichting is van Arte Povera; ook daar had ik meer van verwacht.
Verder was alles erg goed: het zwembad, de bar, de service en de sfeer.
We komen zeker terug, maar dan vragen we om een kamer op dezelfde verdieping met alle voorzieningen dichtbij.

Ik had een villa met een zwembad verwacht, zoals op de eerste foto, maar het bleek in een klein dorpje te liggen. De kamer was erg eenvoudig, maar alles werkte naar behoren, het bed was prima en het beddengoed was schoon. Het diner was heerlijk, net als het goede ontbijt, met veel gebak, omeletten, worst en kaas. Er waren niet genoeg groenten voor mij, aangezien ik geen gebak eet; ik had graag een omelet met groenten gehad. Het hotel is voor ouderen. We hadden veel oudere dames bij ons! Het was een waar paradijs voor hen. Ze serveerden zelfs geweekte pruimen bij het ontbijt.

Hatten ein sehr grosses Zimmer (zuoberst) mit Sicht auf Pool und Meer. Alles sehr sauber. Reichhaltiges Frühstück, leider ohne gekochte Eier. Frischen Orangensaft konnte man selber machen. Gratis-Parking war super. Lift etwas in die Jahre gekommen....

Zeer groot hotel met ruime en zeer comfortabele kamer. Goed ontbijt met uitzicht op ipodroom ...zeer bijzonder als situatie.
Interieur en vriendelijk en beschikbaar parkeerplaats.
Het enige neo buitenzwembad dat opent vanaf 1 juni en met 27 graden was er een badkamer

Hotel with an amazing view! A had a room with sea view and balcony. There is an amazing view to the Ionic sea and Etna from the balcony. The hotel also have a pool and spa zone. A very good place to relax!

If you drive by yourself, it is highly recommended. The hotel building is a historical building. The room interior is also very good. The courtyard is beautiful. Dinner in the open-air restaurant is very pleasant. Everywhere is beautiful for taking photos. If you have a car, it is not far to the temple and the Turkish stairs.

I had a rather unpleasant stay at *Appartamenti Rosa Dei Venti* in Trapani.
First of all, the parking situation is very misleading. It's advertised as “free parking near the property,” but in reality, you’ll be given a business card upon arrival with the name of a parking lot located 3 km away in an industrial area beyond the port. They do offer a free shuttle to and from the parking lot, but be prepared to wait. Even if you prearrange your pick-up time, you'll likely have to call and ask “Where are you?” when the time comes.
As for the apartment itself — unfortunately, it was far from cozy. The building hardly gets any sunlight, so the space feels dark and chilly. I was freezing at night under a very thin blanket. The bathroom window opens into the shared stairwell, so you can hear people coming in and out, and even sounds from neighboring bathrooms — not exactly pleasant.
The location is central, but that also means a lot of street noise. There’s a café just below the windows. I was lucky it was a weekday and they closed around 11 PM — but not without the clatter of dumpsters and shutters being slammed. Conversations from people downstairs are easily heard inside the room.
To be fair, the apartment was clean, which is probably the only positive I can mention.
In summary, if you're staying in Trapani for just a day or two, I’d recommend booking a hotel instead — something more welcoming and better managed. And unless you're traveling without a car and plan to spend all your time in the city center, this place may not be the best option. For me, it was an overall disappointing experience.

If I could give this place 20/10 for service, I would. When we arrived at the location, we were in a complete state of panic as we thought we had been scammed by the gas station up the road. After checking us in (a few hours early), the receptionist kindly accompanied us back to the gas station and helped us translate between Italian and English, clarifying the misunderstanding of the situation. This was exceptional service and kindness we were not expecting. The room itself was incredibly luxurious - we actually had 2 bedrooms (family suite) for 2 people. The walk-in wardrobe was a delightful surprise, although we didn't stay long enough to enjoy it. As we were both working while on holiday, the study desk in each room gave us the privacy and space to do our meetings and work independently. The bar fridge was useful for us to store our salads, snacks and bottled drinks. The bed was super comfortable and we had a very restful sleep. The pillows were also the right height. Thankfully, there was air conditioning - our previous hotel did not. We slept like babies. The bathroom had all the amenities, including a hairdryer which is essential for me. Best for last - breakfast the next morning was an absolute feast. The continental style breakfast spread was generous and we indulged in pastries, yogurt, fresh fruits and marvellous coffee. I believe everything is baked fresh in house. As we checked out, we were even gifted a bag of pastries to take on our journey with us. ＜3 I highly recommend this place, and I am ever grateful to the wonderful hospitality we enjoyed here.

Something fabulous. Bungalows right on the beach. A wonderful sunrise. Beautiful view of Etna. Clean tidy. A very nice employee - a great person. The breakfast was modest but the coffee was delicious. 12 minutes to the airport. Open 24 hours. I am very satisfied. This place probably benefits in the summer, during the season. Nice infrastructure. Cottages in a wooded area, sandy beach, parking, 24-hour service. Just go there.

Overlooking the Ionian Sea, the Grand Hotel San Pietro is a beautiful hotel with landscaped gardens and excellent amenities. The staff are extremely courteous and helpful and the rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. Located within a 10-15 minute walk of the shopping and sightseeing area of Taormina, makes this 5 Star hotel an excellent choice. The staff, as mentioned, are very courteous and helpful - and it is quite easy to become friends with them. Infact, Christian and Loretta (who work in the bar area during the evenings) are 2 staff members that I highly commend - not only for their service but for the exceptional time we spent with them. This hotel is highly recommended and I certainly look forward to returning in the not too distant future.

Excellent Stay with Great Location and Stunning Views I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The location is fantastic—just a 16-minute walk from the train station and about 15-20 minutes on foot to the island’s main attractions. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and very clean， with the added bonus of being close to the sea. It even had two balconies, allowing us to enjoy the lovely views and fresh air. What made our stay even better was the friendly and helpful staff. They were always welcoming and went out of their way to assist us whenever needed. Here’s an updated version of your review that includes the negative aspects while maintaining a balanced and professional tone: --- **Great Location & Beautiful Room, but Noise Can Be an Issue** I had a mostly pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is excellent—just a **16-minute walk from the train station** and **15-20 minutes to the island’s main attractions**. The room itself was **spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated**, with the added benefit of being **close to the sea** and featuring **two balconies**. The staff were also **very friendly and helpful**, which enhanced our experience. However, there was one major downside: the walls are extremely thin. We could easily hear noises from the hallway and stairwell. On our last night, the neigh-boring room was very loud, which disrupted our sleep and unfortunately put a damper on an otherwise great trip.
