If you're looking for a hostel in Napoli, look no further. Here is where you'd want to stay. All the staff were amazing and very accommodating. They prepared lovely home cooked breakfast and also provided quality recommendations of what I can do. This place is close to the heart of the city. It's very, very clean and has great security too. Highly recommended!

Een heel rustig en makkelijk te vinden hotel! De medewerkers bij de receptie waren erg vriendelijk en legden geduldig uit hoe ik bij de belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden kon komen! Ik ben ze vooral dankbaar voor hun aanbeveling voor een dagtocht naar het eiland Amalfi; ze hielpen me Napoli City Vision te vinden, wat fantastisch was! Ze zorgden voor een prima auto en een uitstekende gids, waardoor het een perfecte dagtocht werd! Het ontbijt was ook erg goed en het personeel was allemaal erg aardig.

Ik vind deze B&B-keten erg leuk en ik wist niet dat ze dit soort accommodaties hadden. De waarheid is dat het mij zeer verrast heeft.
Er zijn echter ook veel dingen die verbeterd moeten worden: de badkamer is niet zo goed uitgerust, is oud en de douchewand is in slechte staat.
De airconditioning is oud, maar koelt prima. De roomservice hergebruikt de lakens elke dag. Ons bed werd nooit verschoond en de sprei was iedere dag van ons verblijf vies.
Het ergste aan het verblijf was de wifi-verbinding. Deze viel voortdurend uit en/of viel steeds uit. Er zou veel meer aandacht besteed moeten worden aan dit soort zaken.
Wat betreft de aandacht van het personeel: die was uitstekend en het ontbijtbuffet was erg goed.

We waren erg blij met de kamer. Hij is erg ruim en perfect voor ons als stel. We hebben de keuken niet veel gebruikt, maar ik denk dat hij prima is voor ontbijt of een snack.
Wat we lastig vonden, was dat er geen receptie ter plaatse was. Alles werd via WhatsApp afgehandeld. Bij het inchecken hadden we niet de informatie die we nodig hadden om bij het hotel te komen. Na een aantal berichten en telefoontjes kregen we eindelijk instructies. Op onze laatste dag wilden we onze bagage in het hotel achterlaten, maar helaas reageerde onze contactpersoon pas een paar minuten voor het uitchecken, waardoor we het hotel al met onze koffers hadden verlaten. Desondanks was de communicatie erg vriendelijk en waren we bereikbaar, alleen niet zo snel als wanneer er een receptioniste ter plaatse was geweest.
Wat ons 's ochtends stoorde, was het lawaai. Er kwam 's ochtends altijd een schoonmaakster langs die begon met schoonmaken, waardoor we wakker werden.

We recently stayed at the Hotel Royal Continental in Naples from January 7 to January 9, 2025, and our overall experience was very positive. Location & Safety The hotel is located in one of the safest and most touristic areas of Naples, right on Via Partenope, facing the sea and Castel dell'Ovo. Naples, as a city, is still evolving into a true tourist destination. The city is making significant improvements to attract more visitors, and you can feel that transition happening. This particular area where the hotel is located feels very safe, thanks to continuous police presence. We saw officers patrolling on foot and by car at all hours of the day and night, which gave us peace of mind. The neighborhood is also filled with excellent restaurants offering a wide range of quality food at reasonable prices. Of course, not every place is great, but there are many good options within walking distance. Additionally, the historic center and most major tourist attractions are within walking distance from the hotel. You can take a leisurely stroll and reach the main sights in under an hour. Room & Comfort The seafront location of the hotel is outstanding. The view from our room was beautiful, and we loved opening the panoramic window to let in the fresh sea breeze in the morning and evening. It’s a wonderful way to start and end your day. The room itself was comfortable and well-maintained, with a level of luxury comparable to a 4-star European hotel. However, it's important to note that European hotel standards are different from those in the U.S.. By American standards, this hotel would be closer to a 3-star property. Despite this, the housekeeping staff did a great job cleaning the room daily and replacing towels. Service & Atmosphere The hotel staff is professional and polite, but interactions felt a bit robotic and mechanical. It seemed like they were following routines rather than making genuine connections with guests. That said, room cleanliness was good, and we appreciated the attention to detail in that regard. One thing that stood out is the hotel’s nostalgic 1950s vibe. The hotel seems proud of its mid-century charm, which they promote through signs and advertisements around the property. If you enjoy that type of retro atmosphere, you’ll appreciate this hotel. Breakfast Experience The breakfast at the hotel was excellent. The dining room overlooks the sea, which makes for a lovely breakfast setting. There are several breakfast stations with a wide variety of options, and the food quality was great. Waiters clean the tables and take care of guests throughout breakfast service, which adds a nice touch. We were very satisfied with the overall breakfast experience. Final Thoughts Overall, Hotel Royal Continental is a solid choice for staying in Naples. The location is its biggest strength, offering stunning views, proximity to restaurants, and easy access to the historic center. it provides a comfortable and memorable experience with beautiful sea views and a nostalgic atmosphere. Would we stay here again? Yes, for the views, location, and breakfast!

GGuest UserTerrible experience with this hotel. After confirming the booking and arriving are the area the owner disappears for hours, doesn’t answer texts or phone calls and doesn’t leave anybody in the property to check us in we had to plead with locals to help us get the owners phone number. In addition, when we checked us we had to deal with non English speakers (how do you rent properties internationally without being able to communicate?) and also demanded tax payment in cash even though they carried no change so we ended up paying more than needed. Property itself very nice and clean but I recommend to stay away.

Walk using the main street is easier. Just next to Hotel Colombo which is easier to identify than the hotel Casablanca sign (which shows a logo you might not be able to recognise). Good breakfast variety.

We stayed 3 nights at Santa Fortunata Village in Dodome Tent No. 9 and had a pleasant experience overall. The village is located a bit outside of Sorrento town, but since we were driving, the distance wasn’t an issue. For those not driving, they do offer a buggy service, which is convenient. Our tent didn’t have the best view, but we were still able to catch beautiful sunrises and sunsets. It was quiet and peaceful throughout our stay, with no disturbances from other campers. The bed was comfortable, and the tent included a plug point and two USB ports. However, there were no built-in lights, so we recommend bringing your own portable USB light. There were ants on the ground, but it wasn’t a major problem. The parking lot was spacious, and the shared bathrooms and toilets were a short walk away. Showers had hot water, and there were plenty of basins and mirrors available. The provided hair dryer was quite weak, so it’s better to bring your own if needed. The village also has mini marts and a restaurant. We had dinner at the restaurant once—it was a bit pricey, but the atmosphere was elegant and enjoyable. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. They offer excursions as well, though we had already planned our own itinerary. All in all, it was a comfortable and quiet glamping experience. We'd definitely consider coming back!

I had a short overnight stay so the location is ideal about 400m walking from the main train station. Although a good location it is not a good area at night, a lot of homeless people but there are also some nice restaurants on Garabaldi Square and good coffee shops nearby for pastries and coffee for breakfast. The Hotel reception is on the 2nd floor of the building, big staircase and as others say no lift. Not good for older people or if you have big luggage to carry. The Checkin was fine, the man explained the basics and took me to my room. The cleanliness was perfect, so clean, plenty of fresh white towels, and bathroom was spotless, no problem there. He also gave me the remote control for the air conditioning and that also worked really great so you could sleep well. Bed was fine, seemed clean also, as someone said Quirky decoration. And surprisingly quiet. So if you aren’t after a fancy hotel room it’s fine. Only Basic liquid soap amenity supplied. The Front door is locked at 8 pm, and the hotel rooms access, they give you a keys to access, so it seems quite safe, closing early in that area is probably a good thing . Easy to walk to the Old Town and all the sights.
