If you need a place to stay one night on the round trip of Iceland, from Akureyri back to Reykjavik, Laugarbakki is the choice. Hotel choices are limited. This one is probably a reasonable choice. Compared with other hotels of similar quality in other towns, this one is relatively expensive. The breakfast lacks choices, too. But the staff is good, as I lost a remote control of my selfie and found by the staff, lovely.

De receptie is apart gelegen. Het gastenverblijf zelf is een apart huis met 5 kamers. Er is een woonkamer met het benodigde keukengerei om te koken. Om in te checken bij de receptie geven zij u de code van het vakje waar de kamersleutels zich bevinden. Ontbijt - je moet het zelf uit de koelkast halen - vleeswaren van worst, kaas, brood, sap, yoghurt, ontbijtgranen.

Mooie ontdekking van dit historische hotel in Saudarkrokur. Personeel met kleine zorg voor zijn gasten , onbeleefd ontbijt in een mooie kamer van het restaurant. Onze reis in IJsland was nog mooier dankzij deze plek. We gaan terug.
