Absolutely magnificent hotel! Staff were very helpful, tending to any and every need. Rooms are clean and spacious. And big plus point is that it is connected to the Annapoorna restaurant, a must visit for breakfast, lunch or dinner! Can't wait to be back.

This hotel is simply Superb, i have nothing negative to say. My stay was so comfortable, would love to return.
Excellent room, bathroom was so clean, bed was so comfy, staff were excellent, breakfast spread was so Good, and amenities was more than enough.

Очень понравилось! Красивое гармоничное место, нет шума транспорта и людей. Получилось действительно расслабиться и с удовольствием отдохнуть. Просторный, чистый номер, внимание в мелочах к постояльцам. Территорию отеля вечером обрабатывают от насекомых. Очень вежливый гостеприимный персонал. Есть обмен валюты. Свободный доступ к бассейну, разнообразное меню на завтрак. За всё пребывание в Индии в 4-х городах из 4-х отелей этот самый лучший. Однозначно рекомендую этот отель.

Ok gym and pool. Breakfast very good.
Location a bit distant. No uber would come and quite far from city center. But conveniently located near the Salem airport.
Would for sure stay here again in the future.

De Taj Cormandel was een fantastisch hotel en verblijf voor ons op onze recente reis naar Chennai. We werden welkom aangezien we uit de bus stapten. Alle personeelsleden zijn zeer handig en vriendelijk, maar Amit van de Chipstead verdient een speciale vermelding voor zijn uitstekende klantenservice en welkome manier.
De kamers waren groot en zeer comfortabel. Huishoudelijke diensten waren topsnoep, overvloedige handdoeken en warm water, plus enkele huishoudelijke verrassingen die we genoten op onze verblijf.
De ontbijt was een buffet-stijl met veel keukengerei, service was zeer goed georganiseerd en alle speciale ontbijtverzoeken werden aan uw tafel geleverd.
Kies restaurants voor het eten en een lounge voor dranken en cocktails.
Het zwembad met buitenschool en fitnessruimte zijn op de onderste grond van het hotel. Toestellen zijn voorzien.
Ik zou u hier graag willen laten blijven.

The breakfast daily and the staff were truly exceptional. The room was good, everything worked and in-room dining that is 24/7, was excellent. We arrived at 2am and the food, at that time, for famished travellers was truly appreciated.
Thank you Holiday Inn. You have excellent staff and hope you are valuing them. Staff farewelled us on our last day!!
I did not give five stars for cleanliness as the toilet seats could/ should be cleaned better.

GGuest UserThe accommodation was good with a clear and neat room. Vary spacious with proper amenities, the hospitality was good speaking multiple languages like telugu, english, tamil and Hindi appreciable. It's near to asharam around 500m and 2 km from Raja gopuram. Highly recommended

YYsan31Ibis is really a nice place to stay. The location is in the city center where you have all easy access to wherever you want to go. The transportation system in the area is very friendly. You can get a toktok motorcycle to bring you anywhere you want to sight seeing.

GGuest UserFabulous setting up on a hill about a 20 min walk down to the town(definitely get a rickshaw back). Didn’t realise we could order eggs for breakfast until our second morning (not offered them on the first morning). Cake at breakfast was yummy.
Bathroom hadn’t been cleaned on arrival and there were splatters marks on the wall above the tea/coffee area. We also returned to our room late afternoon to find maintenance working on our balcony - did feel this could have been done after checkout!
Fabulous shower.
We ate in the restaurant one night and the food was very good. The high taxes in Tamil Nadu added to the price (almost 25%) so bear this in mind . Cocktails weee excellent.
We did the morning ’hike’ which was well worth getting up for.
We were brought a hot water bottle on our second night which was a lovely surprise.
Tea & biscuits served between 5 & 5.30pm which was a nice touch although more of the breakfast cake would have been good.
Would recommend staying here as rooms, location & restaurant are excellent.

TTheBugHad a pleasant stay for 3 nights. The room was spacious and super clean. Breakfast could not be better, they had a live cooking station for orders to cook, a variety for everyone. We went for drinks at the terrace on our third night as it wasnt raining and was accompanied by a live band. Recommended place to stay if you're planning on netflix and chill in the room.

VValentine56My wife and I stayed there for 3-days in mid July, overall stay was good and pleasant and we take this opportunity to thank Mr Ramar (Manager @ Cilantro) who was not only polite and professional, he went the extra mile to help us out in a complex situation that arose on our 1st day.
A well deserved PAT for Mr Ramar in exhibiting his professionalism
But I cant say the same for the Travel Manager Mr Balaji who vehemently refused and not even seeking any other avenues or alternatives to assist us, totally
no empathy shown at all bearing the fact that we being tourists cant access to all your facilities
This we consider a major setback as its reflects horrid customer service

There is a big shopping mall near the hotel and there is a big supermarket in it. Walk for 10-15 minutes. The road in India is a bit difficult to walk. Actually there is a juice bar next to it, and you can buy evaluated drinks and water
