All in all a very reasonable stay, just one negative one was unable to use HDMI cable, as the television was built into the wall. Apart from that the members of staff were very helpful, and I did enjoy my stay. Kind regards Leigh Foster

The Room was fine and the building is historical and beautiful. Sadly the spa is nothing great its more like a hotel with a pool and some treatment rooms. The outside pool was not available so it was just a normal size swimming pool with a whirlpool on it. Also they said its open till 8 and then at 18:00 they told us to leave as they gonna close?? The spa was one of the main reason we came and it was disappointing. The rest was fine. Food a bit overpriced.

Ik heb onlangs een ontspannen verblijf genoten in Barton Hall. De gronden zijn mooi en het spa was een hoogtepunt, vooral in de zon. Het ontbijt was echter teleurstellend. De Engelse ontbijtmogelijkheden waren te zout, en de juice smaakte synthetisch, waardoor het slechte waarde voor geld maakte. De personeelsleden waren wat strikt aan de regels voor toegang tot het spa, wat een beetje overdreven voelde, maar ze waren in het algemeen nuttig en aardig. Over het algemeen is het een mooie verblijf met mooie omgeving, maar sommige verbeteringen nodig in de kwaliteit van het ontbijt en de personeelsaanpak.

Hotel was clean and cosy, with modern bathroom. The staff were really lovely, and the breakfast was great. The general atmosphere is also lovely. When we got there, the radio was switched on, and I haven't listened to the radio in such a long time, it was a nice touch. This hotel paid attention to small details and it made our stay more enjoyable. Breakfast at the hotel was delicious, and cost was reasonable. There were a range of serials, toast and jams available, along with juices and fresh milk. The local restaurants are also highly rated, we ate at Tuana and The Ship Inn, and had recommendations from locals about where else to go, if we had time we would have loved to try Dexter's! We're so happy to have stayed here! Con: £25 early check in charge, even though the room was ready and pre-booked.

Parking is not clearly advertised as an extra £8 and I booked with trip which should include a free upgrade if available. Hotel seemed very quiet on a Sunday night but no upgrade offered or referred to. Ir the 20% discount in good and drinks I was entitled to was not mentioned either. The rooms are nice but the surprise fee for parking and no complimentary upgrade when applicable and available was disappointing as was the mechanical approach if the receptionist at check in.

The room had an unpleasant smell, but overall the experience was okay. It was good. The room was very nice and pretty, but there was not enough amenities in the lobby area other than that, the day was really good and peaceful

Fair stay. Neither outstanding or poor. Everything was adequate.

Great hotel, very clean, really friendly service, lovely continental & cooked breakfast, will definitely stay again. Perfect meeting space with charge points in the bar made our team meeting very easy.

We stayed for just one night. It’s a very basic hotel, but I was pleased with my stay overall. The room was a good size and clean, and the breakfast was fine. The only issue was that the cutlery was quite dirty.
