Hotel was clean, and handy location for the station. The room was quiet and although no A/C, a fan provided was quite adequate even though it was a very hot day. Bathroom a bit tired though.

De locatie is gunstig, op 10-15 minuten lopen van de stad en het treinstation. Het ontbijt is elke dag hetzelfde. De geluidsisolatie is slecht en je kunt horen wat er naast ons gebeurt. Het hotelpersoneel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ze hielpen ons proactief met het inladen van onze bagage in de auto na het uitchecken.

Basic but clean and very convenient for M3/A34 etc. Good service at check in. Quiet room. Shower good; everything clean. Very good value for money.

Lovely staff and great hotel location for anyone that’s a bit more car centric. Despite not using the on site facilities as much, the staff were lovely, friendly & helpful at any hour. The room was spotlessly clean, and had decent basic amenities, but the room I stayed in was starting to look a little tired. Decent value for money however, especially for the time of the year & a weekend.

Ik kan hier geen maximum punten voor geven, want tegenwoordig is wifi verschrikkelijk traag of helemaal niet aanwezig, wat het verblijf erg lastig maakt. Zeker als de 4G/5G-ontvangst ook nog eens verschrikkelijk is. Als je ergens wilt zijn waar je geen verbinding hebt, dan is dit de plek voor jou! Laat je innerlijke bejaarde de vrije loop en doe je apparaten weg voor de duur van je verblijf, want je kunt ze toch niet gebruiken 🤣

Ik bedoel het niet onaardig, maar dit is vergelijkbaar met een goedkoop restaurant. De lobby is sfeerloos en doet me denken aan een jeugdclub uit de jaren 80. De kamers zijn zo klein als maar kan, de kussens waren vreselijk, de douche had onderhoud nodig (hij lekte - en werd gelukkig snel gerepareerd), en er is geen uitzicht. Ik zou nog wel even door kunnen gaan, maar dat zou muggenzifterij zijn. Aan de positieve kant was de locatie, het is vrij centraal, en de prijs - twee eenpersoonsbedden voor ongeveer £52 in maart 2025. De kamers waren schoon, er was een eenvoudig ontbijt beschikbaar en er is parkeergelegenheid (£12 per 24 uur). Zou ik hier nog eens verblijven? Waarschijnlijk wel, ondanks het budgetkarakter is dit Ibis een goedkope overnachtingsplek in het hart van Portsmouth die een redelijke prijs-kwaliteitverhouding biedt in vergelijking met de concurrentie.

Functional, clean, tidy, helpful staff. Location very close to football stadium. Close to other out of town shopping. Not pretty views, but wasn’t looking for a sea view. Room nice, only drawback is the en-suite facilities are a little open to the rest of the room so no privacy coming out of the shower.

A lovely old hotel in the heart of the forest. Lyndhurst is a pretty village and well appointed. The breakfast at the hotel is good. The rooms smell fresh and nicely appointed. Parts of the hotel look a little tired, however the overall experience was very positive. The lady in the front desk really helped when something went wrong and something needed replacing.

Wij maken gebruik van dit hotel terwijl we in Swanmore werken. De prijs-kwaliteitverhouding is goed, de service is goed en de faciliteiten zijn geweldig.

Nice little inn off the highway and it’s a hidden gem! Nice Italian decor especially in the restaurant. That continues into the room where my wife commented it made her think of the room we stayed in Venice. Another great thing is that they warmed up the room before we got there, so it’s nice and warm we entered it.  Restaurant also served good Italian food. Would stay there again!
