De locatie van dit hotel is goed. Heel dicht bij de luchthaven. Maar het is wel een beetje ver van het metrostation. Een taxi naar de metro is beter. De kamers zijn schoon en goedkoper dan bij andere hotels. Ze bieden gratis ophaal- en wegbrengservice van en naar de luchthaven. Die service was uitstekend. Dankjewel 🙂

We arrived at the hotel before 1300 and the room was not ready. The lady at the counter then offered us a free upgrade and free access to the executive lounge for happy hours. Amazing.
The room is a standard hotel room with a king sized bed. The TV only has 10 local channels and none of them is English channel. The bathroom is a big plus and it comes with all basic items (comb, brush, shaver, etc). It has a shower area and a bathtub area. Quite spacious for this kind of standard hotel room.
We were at 19/F and the view was also great!
Highly recommended!

Pullman Hotel Zhu Hai, a hotel you never want to miss. We did a Staycation at this hotel for my wife's birthday, which brought many surprises. The rooms were spacious with warm decorations for the celebration. The staff are amiable take care of our needs. Ik ging met vrienden naar Guangzhou voor de Nationale Dag en vond dit hotel online. Het ligt in een wooncomplex en was voor mijn eerste bezoek wat lastig te vinden, omdat er geen bewegwijzering was. Er is een beveiligingshokje bij de ingang waar je je moet registreren. Ik besloot het eens te proberen en bleef er een dag. Het was geweldig, vooral de matras, die ongelooflijk comfortabel was. Ik hoefde niet te kiezen in welk bed ik wilde slapen. De receptie was ook erg behulpzaam. Als je vragen hebt, krijg je altijd antwoord. De huishoudster, Xiao Tao, bracht ons zelfs wat water om te drinken op de terugweg toen we uitcheckten. Over het algemeen was ik zeer tevreden.

Deze plek is ideaal gelegen en het is supermakkelijk om overal te komen. Een verblijf hier is echt zorgeloos, je loopt zo naar het winkelcentrum. De kamer is ruim genoeg, het bed is groot en zacht, en ik heb heerlijk geslapen. Het is er schoon en fris, zonder gekke luchtjes, en het is rustig, dus je slaap wordt niet verstoord. Fijn dat er een balkon is om kleding te drogen, en de badkamer heeft wegwerp-wc-brilhoezen, wat erg hygiënisch is!

Finally we go to stay in a MUJI HOTEL that is in Shenzhen, China! Great first impression of the hotel as the Japandi MUJI style, and the customer services are top notch, great food and atmosphere, most of all the hotel is located at Upperhills Mall Shenzhen, which is very convenient to hail a taxi and take the metro. There’s also great parks nearby. Will consider coming here again in the future!

Ik had een gratis transfer van het vliegveld naar het hotel en van het hotel terug naar het vliegveld. De ontbijtruimte is schoon en enorm, je hebt er genoeg ruimte om rond te lopen. De hotelkamer is groot. Het hotel is schoon en sommige medewerkers van de receptie spreken Engels.

Room is clean. Location is super strategic, walking distance to the customs. Staff is also very helpful - we ordered a lot of Taobao packages and they helped to search for them and even helped to call the deliveryman when our parcels couldn't be found. That itself is above and beyond their responsibilities. Thank you!

We kregen een kamer met een extra kamer en een keuken. Hoefde niet extra te betalen.Het hotel is een appartement met receptie voor verhuur van kamers. Alles deed en de kamer was netjes. Locatie was top, tegenover groot moderne winkelcentrum en naast de metro.

Abby at check-in was efficient and quick, and the staff were all gentle and polite, patiently and meticulously answering all my questions without any tedious waiting. The service was thoughtful and thorough.
The room's cleanliness was impeccable. It was spacious and bright, meticulously cleaned, and the bedding was soft and dry. The bathroom area was clean and odor-free, and all the facilities were complete and in perfect working order, making them convenient to use. The lighting and layout design were well-thought-out, creating a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere.
The surrounding environment was quiet and serene, far from the hustle and bustle, allowing for an incredibly peaceful night's sleep until morning. Getting around was also very convenient, with plenty of options for shopping and dining nearby. The location is truly excellent.
From the detailed service to the hardware facilities, everything showed great care. The value for money was outstanding, and my entire stay was comfortable and pleasant, without any unpleasant experiences. It's perfect for both short trips and business travel, and I would definitely choose to stay here again if I return to the area. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone needing accommodation.

Ccircle920As the best hotel in Shenzhen, it truly lives up to expectations. Although it opened several years ago, it's incredibly well-maintained. The bedding and bath products are very thoughtfully chosen, and the welcome tea and snacks were a nice touch. The afternoon tea selection might not be huge, but it's very refined and tastes excellent. I particularly want to mention breakfast – the eggs Benedict were perfectly made, and the braised beef noodles were incredibly authentic. The fresh coconuts also met the high standards you'd expect from a luxury hotel.
However, there was a small hiccup during check-in. When we arrived at our room, we found the door wide open and a man sitting on the sofa! Luckily, a staff member was passing by in the hallway. After hearing what happened, they escorted us to the lobby to clarify the situation. Leo, the lobby manager, sincerely apologized for the hotel's error, and the solution he offered was acceptable. For someone who has stayed in many ultra-luxury hotels worldwide, it's quite unacceptable for a Mandarin Oriental to make such a basic mistake. This was truly a first for me, and I hope the hotel takes this seriously!

**Cleanliness:** Super clean! Everywhere I looked, even the walk-in closet, was dust-free! That's really impressive!
**Environment:** Located in Guangzhou's CBD, directly opposite the Canton Tower. It shares a parking lot with K11, and it's very close to Taikoo Hui and other shopping malls by car.
**Service:** Excellent service. I added the butler's WeChat, and they upgraded me to a room with a direct, first-line view of the Canton Tower and the river – huge thanks to Sophia! They also promptly recommended the hotel's dining services, which was very convenient! Parking is also super easy; you can park on B4, and once you see the hotel sign, you can take the elevator directly to the 1st floor. Just tell the hotel your license plate number before you leave.
**Facilities:** The lobby is on the 95th floor and features Chinese and Western restaurants, a bar, and a teppanyaki Japanese restaurant. There's also a swimming and fitness center, which is fantastic! On the 107th floor, Too High has live band performances starting at 8 PM, and the quality is quite high. Even on a weekday night, it was almost full by 9 PM – definitely worth experiencing. (Docked a point mainly because the hallways are really dark; walking alone felt a bit spooky.)

GGuest UserThe location is excellent, right above Gongyuanqian Metro Station. You can take the elevator directly from the subway station between 10 AM and 10 PM. Outside of those hours, you'll need to go to the first floor entrance to use the lift. The housekeeper's name displayed at the door on the 18th floor makes it easy to find. They'll guide you to your room after check-in. The room itself is quite nice and spacious.

The hotel's location is excellent, just a 2-minute walk from the metro station, which connects to 4 different lines, making getting around super convenient. Especially handy is the Line 11 airport express, getting you to the airport in under an hour. Plus, there's a shopping mall right next door, so shopping is a breeze. I stayed in an executive room this time; the layout and flow were well-designed, and the room amenities were thoughtfully detailed. Room service was also very prompt.
The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and the dining experience was great. The rice noodle rolls and ramen were made to order, and they even had tabletop cards to prevent long queues and crowding. The guest services team was warm, attentive, and responsive. Both the gym and swimming pool were quite clean. Overall, a very pleasant experience!

AAnonymous UserI was extremely satisfied with my overall stay at this hotel, it definitely deserves a five-star rating. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient; it's very close to Pazhou, near Keyun Road metro station, just an 8-minute walk away, and there's a bus stop right downstairs. There are also plenty of dining and shopping options nearby, making it perfect for both business trips and leisure travel. In the evenings, you can even take a walk along the Pearl River to enjoy the river views. The room decor is tasteful and elegant, with a modern minimalist style that still feels cozy. The bedding is soft and comfortable, and the cleaning was very thorough, ensuring a neat and clean environment. The breakfast spread was extensive, and the chef enthusiastically recommended dishes, which showed great care. The heated pool wasn't crowded, making for a very comfortable night swim. The hotel's location, room facilities, and hygiene standards all exceeded my expectations, offering excellent value for money. I will definitely choose to stay at the East Stanton Hotel again on my next visit to Guangzhou.

- Both our rooms at level 10 were relatively close to each other facing the Wong Tee Plaza. It might be a way of the said front desk staff allocating these rooms to us to compensate for our unpleasant check in experience (see below). Spectacular views and we managed to spectate the night light show on Saturday without needing to go to the Civic Centre.
- Facilities are great including 24-hour well equipped gym and sauna (best of all hotels in China we experienced so far).
- Rooms are relatively new and fully equipped with necessities, has a dyson air dryer, Toto automatic toilet, automated curtains and a steamer to iron the clothes.
- Breakfast had a lot of varieties to offer (personally loved the oden and sushi section), good service too.
- Housekeeping was amazing. As I was leaving my room, Joy asked if we were interested in their laundry services and we declined as we do not have much laundry to do.
After the first day of housekeeping, she noticed we did simple laundry (1-2 pieces of undergarment) and offered us a complimentary mini laundry detergent. We appreciate her thoughtfulness despite the fact that we initially declined her services.
- Check out was relatively seamless, I believe it was the front office manager that managed our check out and explained the deposit refund procedures accordingly.
- Concierge was decent too as they suggested we are better off getting a Didi to transfer our move to our next destination, and helped us load our bags to the Didi.
Cons
The only downside experience was check in. We requested if it would be possible to have interconnecting rooms (all good if not, at least as close to each other as possible within the same floor). We were advised that given interconnecting rooms are not available for the same type of rooms:
1.The staff provided an offer (upgrade to one of the bigger rooms that has interconnecting room with free 3 days hotel breakfast for 2 out of 4 pax). The quote/offer was outside of our budget hence we declined the offer and we just accept our original booking via Trip.com with no interconnecting rooms.
2.After we declined, the staff informed us that she miscalculated the price (from RMB 31k down to RMB 20k) for the same offer. This is very odd/confusing to us especially with the price difference due to miscalculation, and she was trying to push this offer to us again which we declined. At this point, whatever price quoted to us of this offer lost its credibility and we proceeded to stick to our original booking.
3.The staff said that she will notify us via WeChat (she added us on WeChat) once the room is ready. Understood at that time it was before check in time (i.e. before 3pm) hence we decided to grab lunch and come back after the check in time.
It was past 3pm and we heard nothing from her upon returning to hotel and had to approach the front desk to ask for an update. The same staff managed to provide us key card for one of the rooms while the other room is still not ready (it was past 3:20pm at that time). She said that she will arrange one of her coworkers to deliver the keycards to us once that other room is ready. Around 3:50-4:20pm, we heard nothing (I walked past the other room and noted the housekeeping has finished cleaning up the room and left). I had to go to the front desk to request an update and eventually obtained the keycard.
I am not sure if the above stems from the individual's motivation or if this is part of the hotel's standard procedure to aggressively upsell (even if we already said no) or if the front desk is pressured to meet monthly KPIs, but that left us an unpleasant check in experience and obviously did not represent the check in hospitality standards of the hotel itself.
Aside from the check in, we loved everything hence we had to give 4 out of 5.
