Ik kan echt niet wachten om te leven tegen een prijs ～🤩 $ 190 is een Hong Kong-krant, geen gemiddelde per hoofd van de bevolking  een kamer  een kamer voor zes personen is $ 190, we vieren met z'n vieren  $ 50 Hong Kong-krant is dat niet genoeg, ik dacht dat het de prijs van het bed was om met anderen te delen, maar ik wist niet dat het de echte prijs was, het was te overdreven voor mij!
Probeer Zheng Zheng voor al het andere ~ Het kost een paar stappen om bij het Centraal Station te komen 🚌, waarom klaag je niet , ik ben overtuigd van de prijs ❤️🤝🏻

would definitely come back & stay at H+ Salzburg if i have the chance to go Salzburg again. The bus & train stations are just right in front of the hotel, make it easier to go to Hallstatt or the outskirts. There’s a mall beside and a lot of good food around too. The view from the hotel was amazing too, not to mention that the front desk was super informative and friendly. i felt welcome!

We came thinking the resto and bar would be open, but found out we were there out of season. We booked on Trip.com which didn't have the details on the closure for low season, so check the website for details depending on the time of year. Otherwise the place was nice, parking was easy, and the view from the hotel was great. It's about a 7 minute drive up from the town.

Amazing hotel, with large, clean and nicely-decorated rooms! The staff is lovely and speaks great English. The breakfast offered a large array of quality food, including complimentary a la carte items. Highly recommend!

Hoewel het een ouder hotel is, is het gerenoveerd, dus het interieur is over het algemeen erg mooi!
De kamer van mijn ouders had een balkon, wat geweldig was om 's ochtends van het uitzicht te genieten 👍🏻
De bedden waren erg comfortabel en de kamer was erg schoon!
Het zou nog beter zijn als er ontbijt bij zat!
Mijn familie heeft een fantastisch verblijf gehad 😋
We hebben een heel comfortabel verblijf gehad en voor we het wisten, waren we alweer aan het uitchecken!

Trakteer jezelf op een verblijf in één van de 9 individueel gedecoreerde kamers met vloerverwarming en een flatscreentelevisie. Je bed met pillowtop matras komt met luxe beddengoed. Dankzij gratis kabelinternet blijf je online, terwijl de tv met kabelzenders zorgt voor het kijkplezier. Voorzieningen zijn bijvoorbeeld een (laptop)kluis en een bureau, terwijl een strijkplank/strijkijzer aangevraagd kunnen worden.

The hotel is a bit in the middle of nowhere, the reception is on the second floor without an elevator only stairs. Beside is McDonald's which is open until late. The bus 21 is just below the hotel is a plus that you can easily go to the city in 11-16min and free with the mobility pass the hotel gives, the bus runs almost every 25min. Overall the customer service is good.

De ligging vlak bij het treinstation was voor ons geweldig. Kamers en service zijn over het algemeen goed. Helaas ligt er een brochure in de kamer waarin reclame wordt gemaakt voor het panoramarestaurant op de bovenste verdieping, dat dagelijks vanaf 18.00 uur geopend zou zijn. Maar: het is momenteel alleen open voor ontbijt, 's avonds gesloten :(
Dat was vervelend. Anders zeker een aanrader.

It’s 10mins walk from station to hotel, and another 10mins walk to old town area, not as close as it is, but still very acceptable for a walk. Along the side to hbf, there’s lot of restaurant with Japanese, Korean, or Chinese cuisine, and thats not bad too!

JJay Rh.The hotel was more conveniently located for public transportation (trolleybus) to Salzburg city center than I had expected. Many lines pass right in front of the hotel, and there is a large shopping mall and supermarket next door, where we could easily purchase groceries during our stay.
Despite the hotel being very busy and crowded with guests, the staff at the reception desk and the breakfast restaurant were all friendly and attentive.
The view from the hotel lobby was also very nice.
One neutral point is that the hotel's entrance sign on Sterneckstrasse could be improved. We spent about two minutes walking around the building trying to find the entrance. Perhaps you could consider adding more signage or a clearer indication of where the entrance is?
Unfortunately, I encountered some issues that overshadowed these positive aspects.
Having had a very satisfying experience at a BW hotel in Bologna, Italy (which I hadn’t expected much from since it was just a one-night stay during a road trip, but everything from the breakfast to the bed and interior was fantastic), I had high expectations for this BW Plus hotel as well. Since I visited during a busy tourist season, I didn’t expect an early check-in and everything seemed fine until I entered the room in the evening.
First, I found what appeared to be traces of a previous guest in the toilet—yes, a small spot of something brown. It was tiny, less than a quarter the size of a fingernail, but it was still noticeable. I have poor eyesight and often get scolded by my wife for not noticing things like this.
I also noticed similar dried brown stains on the bathroom floor, which I assumed were the same thing.
The showerhead had limescale and mold, which didn’t leave a good impression. These are issues that could be easily resolved with a bit of bleach, and I thought it would be nice if the housekeeping staff paid more attention to such details.
The most disappointing thing was the pillow filling, which I’ll simply attach a photo of here.
Many guests, especially those from Asia, praised the breakfast highly in Google reviews, so I had some expectations. However, having stayed at many hotels in Europe, I didn’t find it particularly special. In terms of taste, I would rate it around 70-80 out of 100.
(To be specific, I would compare it to breakfast at other four-star hotels like the Grand Hotel International Prague or the Holiday Inn City in Düsseldorf)
In conclusion, despite these issues, I still want to give the hotel a 4-star rating.
This is because I was able to book a room just two weeks before my trip for a rate of around 150 euros per night, which is quite reasonable during peak season in this area. I am confident that with a little more attention to cleanliness and room hygiene, this hotel could quickly improve its customer satisfaction.
Despite the concerns about hygiene, I was overall satisfied with my stay at this hotel.
This review is written not as a criticism but as a form of encouragement.

The mini-fridge was complimentary with drinks and beer, and the breakfast spread was generous. The location is excellent, you can walk everywhere. The room was clean. Overall, I recommend it.

AAnonymous UserHotel was just close to the Salzburg Hbf main train station where easily to access around, opposite the hotel also have Billa supermarket so can easily hunt some food and need at there. Upon check-in you may request the Salzburg city transport pass for free based on the day you stayed in this hotel… Room setup was great, aircon and WiFi works well, bed was comfy, with small fridge but no kettle. The only downside was the shower area was just a pcs of fix glass so when bath the water may easily splash out the makeup area. Overall is a good stay for me. Thank you Arte Hotel Salzburg.

GGuest UserJust a 5-minute walk from the main train station. There's a bus stop right outside the door, otherwise, you can get everywhere from the main station. It's a small but very clean hotel that really focuses on sustainability. The breakfast was excellent for this category. I'll definitely be booking here again for my next stay in Salzburg! Thumbs up!

TTravelshortsI am stayed at Hotel Mercure Salzburg City for two nights during my time in Salzburg, and it turned out to be an excellent base for exploring the city. What made the stay even better was being upgraded for free to a premium room, which included a complimentary mini bar — a very welcome perk after a day of sightseeing.
The premium room was spacious, clean and modern, with a comfortable bed, good lighting and plenty of storage space. The free mini bar was a nice extra touch, allowing me to relax in the evening without needing to head back out for drinks. The hotel felt quiet and well-run, which made it easy to rest, even though it’s located in a busy and well-connected part of the city.
Location is one of the hotel’s strongest points. It is less than a 10-minute walk from Salzburg’s main train station, which is ideal if you’re arriving by rail or planning day trips to places like Hallstatt or Vienna. It’s also around a 15-minute walk to the centre of the Old Town, meaning you can reach Salzburg’s most famous sights — such as the Cathedral, Mozart’s birthplace and the Hohensalzburg Fortress — without needing public transport.
Airport access is also extremely straightforward. Bus number 2 from Salzburg Airport stops just a minute’s walk from the hotel, making transfers simple, quick and inexpensive. This is particularly helpful if you have luggage or an early flight.
I would recommend Hotel Mercure Salzburg City to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located hotel that balances convenience with good value. It’s not overly luxurious, but it offers everything you need for a smooth and enjoyable stay in Salzburg, making it a smart choice for both short city breaks and longer trips.

The hotel provides a free bus pass, which is great for getting around Salzburg city, Lake Wolfgang, and the transfer station for Hallstatt. The hotel is a bit far from the city center, but there are many Chinese restaurants and supermarkets nearby. It's about a 20-minute bus ride to the train station and the city center.

GGuest UserThe suite is incredibly spacious, which is a huge plus for families. Kids (even two!) can comfortably use the sofa bed in the living room, while adults get their own separate and equally spacious bedroom. The soundproofing is good. My only real complaint is the carpet in the room. Breakfast was okay, but not amazing – for the price, I'd expect a bit more. The €19 garage fee is acceptable, though you might find free parking in the neighborhood if you drive around a bit (I didn't notice any blue lines or special permits on parked cars). The spots in the garage are extremely tight, requiring precise maneuvering. Would I return? Yes! Especially since it's hard to find anything better in Salzburg for around €250 a night.
