Exceptional Onsen Experience and Delicious Breakfast My recent stay at this hotel in Japan was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome and attended to every detail with genuine hospitality. The highlight of my trip was undoubtedly the exquisite onsen bath house. Nestled amidst serene surroundings, the onsen offered the perfect blend of relaxation and rejuvenation. The facilities were immaculately clean, the water temperature was just right, and the tranquil atmosphere allowed me to truly unwind after a day of exploring. Each morning began with their amazing breakfast spread, featuring a wonderful selection of both Western and Japanese dishes. The quality and freshness of the ingredients were outstanding, and the presentation was as beautiful as the flavours were delicious. From freshly brewed coffee to traditional miso soup, every meal was a delightful start to the day. The rooms were spacious, elegantly decorated, and equipped with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail throughout the hotel was impressive, making my experience truly memorable. I wholeheartedly give this hotel a five-star rating and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Japan. Whether you’re seeking a relaxing getaway, a cultural experience, or just a fantastic place to stay, this hotel exceeds expectations in every way.

Tiny room with an old and very small Queensize (??) bed. Everything seems to be really old, so does the dust in the corners of the room or of the ventilation in the bathroom. Service was okay... we could convince them to leave our bicycles outside the hotel entrance (no way to leave them at the ”luggage storage” inside the lobby). Drinks like coffee, hot chocolate, tea and soft drinks are for free. Microwave free. Also they have a bath house but no sauna for the girls - unfortunately. Best option in town.

I recently enjoyed a lovely holiday stay at Fairfield. This hotel appears to be quite new, and the rooms were very comfortable, providing a relaxing space to unwind after a day of exploring. It was convenient for getting around and accessing various attractions, which made it ideal for my holiday. While my stay was overall very positive, there were a couple of things to note. The hotel does not have an in-house restaurant, so dining options require venturing out. Additionally, there is no onsen (Japanese hot spring bath) available at the property. Despite these minor points, I found Fairfield Marriott to be a comfortable and well-located hotel that I would certainly consider staying at again for a holiday.

My stay at Ureshino Onsen Yoshidaya Uchiroji Hondori (also known as Yadoya Uchiroji Hondori) was a tale of two extremes in the charming hot spring town of Ureshino, Saga Prefecture. The hotel was modern Japanese-style with smart check-in system. The twin room was spacious, impeccably clean, and exude serene comfort, making it a perfect retreat. The private onsen facilities truly shine— It was a free slot with 40 mins, which could be booked once via QR Code at the room. Ureshino's famous sodium-rich hot springs, renowned as one of Japan's top three for beautifying the skin, deliver silky-smooth water that leaves you feeling rejuvenated. However, the meal plan was a major letdown. I sent an email to the hotel to confirm my booking and stated I did not eat beef before. The customer service replied I had to pay extra per person in order to change the meat option. For over JPY 38,000 per night including breakfast and dinner, we anticipated premium kaiseki cuisine or traditional served Japanese dinner set. Instead, only a bento box with cold salad and an underwhelming beef and egg pie that felt mismatched for the price. Tragically, my husband experienced vomiting shortly after, likely food-related, which overshadowed our trip. And the breakfast was also disappointing, which was only cold sandwiches with a cup of tea or milk. Thus, I strongly recommend the hotel clearly states the exact contents of dinner and breakfast plans on booking sites—including detailed menus or photos—and offers flexible options, such as plan changes or alternatives, if guests fall ill from the food. This transparency and adaptability would greatly enhance the experience and prevent frustration.

Een oud resorthotel met een gratis zwembad op de t****e verdieping en een mooi uitzicht op de bovenste verdieping voor het diner! Water is verkrijgbaar in automaten. De kamer is relatief groot en het bed is vrij breed, waarschijnlijk 1,2, en er is een tatami! U dient de kamerkaart om 15:00 uur op te halen

Lovely modern hotel, spotlessly clean, smallish room, great bath. Excellent position in centre of town close to station. Very quiet and comfortable. Highly recommended.

This hotel has a more classic and vintage-style room design, but the space was decent and everything was very clean. One lovely feature is the small chapel in the hotel lobby, which seems to be used for weddings—it added a warm and charming touch. The scenery right next to the hotel is also beautiful, making the overall stay quite pleasant.

Het uitzicht vanuit de kamer was geweldig en de massagestoel was een fijne toevoeging. Het bad en de verlichting in het bad waren heerlijk, en de lichte bubbels gaven me het gevoel alsof ik in een bruisend bad zat, dus ik was zeer tevreden. Het ontbijt was verrukkelijk en de cacao was rijk van smaak en niet waterig. 😊 Dit is een hotel waar ik zeker nog eens terug wil komen.

De faciliteiten zijn fantastisch, het is schooner dan waar ik ook ben geweest en het uitzicht is onoverwinnelijk. Het nachtpersoneel dat de voorkant werkte, maakte het een prachtige ervaring. Ik zie uit naar terugkeer in de toekomst, zal zeker weer boeken en verliefd worden op de ervaring hier De faciliteiten zijn geweldig, schooner dan waar ik ooit geweest ben, en het landschap is geweldig. Met name dankzij de nachtelijke receptiepersoneel heb ik een geweldige ervaring gehad. Ik verwacht opnieuw terug te komen en ik zal zeker opnieuw reserveren. De ervaringen van deze plek hebben mij diep indruk gemaakt.
