It's a great time to spend a night in this hotel. A little bit far from nagano station (15min walk) 800m - 1km. But it trades off with the price. Price is much cheaper than the one in 200-300m distance from Nagano Station. We even got a massage chair in our room and it's quite big. The room is a double bed room and we slept well. We planned to stay for 2 nights but we reserved a terrible hotel (Livemax hotel) with twice of the price in Chisun.

The hotel is located close to Nagano Station, only a 5-minute walk away. The room is not very large, but not too small either. The onsen is a bit small and can get crowded. I loved the staff’s service—they were very kind—and I especially enjoyed the ice cream provided during onsen hours and free soba at night. Breakfast was very good. I liked the beef suki soup and the Nagano pork.

The hotel is nice, from the station about 10 minutes walk almost in a straight line, wake up. The room was originally wrong, it was reserved for smokers, even though we don't smoke, the room was given the appropriate one, the smell in it was just not very good, like for those who don't smoke at all, it started already on the floor.But the staff, fortunately, were able to find us a replacement for a non-smoking room, yes, less, yes one big bed instead of two, but with stunning mountain views and a coffee machine. Locatie: Vlakbij station Nagano, direct aan de Nagano-Odoristraat, op 3-4 minuten loopafstand. Ik zou hier zeker weer verblijven als ik de volgende keer in Nagano ben.

Het bed en de kussens zijn aan de stevige kant, maar acceptabel. De badkamer is redelijk schoon; hij wordt niet dagelijks schoongemaakt bij opeenvolgende verblijven, maar er hangen wel schone handdoeken aan de deurknop. Het restaurant bevindt zich op de 14e verdieping. Het ontbijt is niet te vergelijken met dat van een vijfsterrenhotel, maar voor een budgethotel is het prima, met een behoorlijke variatie aan opties, waaronder zowel Japanse als westerse gerechten. Het restaurant kijkt uit op de besneeuwde bergen in de verte, zodat u tijdens het ontbijt van het uitzicht kunt genieten, wat erg prettig is.

Location: Near to Karuizawa train station (approximately 15 min walk to hotel west) and 10min walk to shopping mall. 5 min shuttle bus to reach ski area. Room: Clean and comfortable. But the bath powder is like toilet detergent scent. Amenities: there is Family mart operates until 11pm in hotel west. Service: Front desk lady can’t really speak English and hard to communicate. The man at cloakroom is unfriendly. Shuttle bus service: Shuttle bus service provided within the shopping area, hotel east and west. However, the instruction is unclear to us. When we queued up for the bus to station, the hotel staff did not inform us the bus was here and to align the bus but just change the next bus arrival timing. Until entire lane of the guests missed the bus. We had to walk all the way to station with our huge luggage. Snow Park: No clear direction or sign board to go snow park from hotel east. The snow park area is kinda small and suitable for young kid (below 7 years old). It is boring for kid above 7 years old.

This was a last minute selection on the train from Tokyo, but the right one. It's a short 5 minute walk from the Nagano station and has spacious rooms. The staff is friendly and helpful, but best of all, on arrival you are given a welcome drink and dessert of your choice. The entire place seems to be obsessed with desserts, to my liking. They also provides free ice cream and upon check out, bags of candy and cookies. Maybe it's a Christmas promotion, but a welcome surprise. The breakfast is a bit expensive, but has a nice selection of food choices, including salmon, more desserts, and various Japanese food. I only stayed one night, but I believe they have an onsen and other amenities. Well worth it. I stayed in other hotels in Nagano, and this one was superior.
