We verbleven een nacht in een tweepersoonskamer met uitzicht op het meer en een eigen badkamer.
Het uitzicht is de moeite waard.
Personeel was vriendelijk, kamer was schoon, gemakkelijk in en uit te checken.
Locatie was gemakkelijk aangegeven en parkeergelegenheid beschikbaar.
5/10 minuten lopen naar een paar lokale frietkraam, een bar en winkels indien nodig, evenals toegang tot de bar en het restaurant ter plaatse.
We verbleven op een zondag in juni, die rustig was.
Het gebouw is een ouder gebouw, dus erg krakend, maar dat maakt deel uit van de charme.
Thee/koffie en waterkoker aanwezig in de kamer, evenals een kleine Schotse koekjestraktatie.
Perfecte tussenstop voor verdere reizen naar het noorden of een andere situatie.
Zou zeker weer boeken.
Met een verblijf bij Loch Fyne Hotel And Spa in Inveraray bevind je je aan het water, op een kwartiertje lopen van Inveraray Jail en Arctic Penguin. Dit hotel met een spa ligt op 1,8 km van Inveraray Castle en op 2,6 km van Argyll Adventure.
Ontspan met massages, lichaamsbehandelingen en gezichtsbehandelingen wanneer je de volledig uitgeruste spa bezoekt. Als je op zoek bent naar activiteiten, dan vind je een binnenzwembad, een bubbelbad en een sauna vast wel leuk. Enkele voorzieningen van dit hotel zijn gratis wifi, conciërgeservices en huwelijksservices.
Stil je honger met een lunch of diner bij The Clansman, een restaurant gespecialiseerd in lokale gerechten. Je kunt ook lekker binnen blijven en van de roomservice (beperkte tijden) profiteren. Bestel je favoriete drankje in een bar/lounge. Op werkdagen wordt er tegen betaling een uitgebreid ontbijt geserveerd van 07.30 uur tot 09.30 uur en in het weekend is dit beschikbaar van 08.00 uur tot 10.00 uur.
Enkele van de voorzieningen zijn gratis kranten in de lobby, een 24-uurs receptie en meertalig personeel. Een conferentiecentrum en vergaderruimtes zijn enkele van de evenementfaciliteiten in dit hotel. Ter plaatse heb je gratis parkeerplaatsen.
Doe of je thuis bent in één van de 67 kamers. Er is gratis wifi op de kamer als je op het internet wilt surfen. De privébadkamers met een bad/douchecombinatie hebben gratis toiletartikelen en haardrogers. Bij de voorzieningen horen een bureau en een koffiezetapparaat/waterkoker en de kamers worden dagelijks schoongemaakt.
Loch long Hotel kan veel schooner zijn. Maar wat mijn verblijf echt verpest was UK.trip.com. Na ik .ade de boeking trip.com aangekondigd dat de boeking niet kan worden gewijzigd. Vervolgens een paar dagen voor de vervaldatum, een andere aankondiging over een £50 op voorhand betaling.

We had a sea view room which had a great view, but the windows were so dirty and cobwebs in the corners that it actually spoiled that for us. The staff and service they provided was excellent, but however I expected a wider variety of meals but the menu was very limited. It was nice to sit at the tables provided outside when having drinks, but again the metal railings at the tables had a lot of chipped and flaked paint and made the hotel look rather run down. The dining rooms and all the seating areas with lovely leather chairs was very nice on the ground floor, but moving up the stairs there was black tape holding the red tartan carpet together, our room actually had small nails holding the wallpaper on the walls. It all looked great online ,but close up it was rather tired.
Perfect location close to rail station.Lots of positive points, however hotel was dated in parts, room carpet flooring was unstable so had to exercise caution not to trip and cause injury. Reception staff member Jamie pleasant and most helpful, so was Nicola over the phone the night before check-in. Food could be improved, with a better variety at breakfast, and providing fresh fruit.
Room allocated was not what I expected. Would stay again if better room allocated.
What a lovely hotel!! We arrived late but the owner greeted us and suggested places to eat as they didn’t do dinner.
The room was very clean with two single beds which were so very comfortable!! The room was en-suite and had a lovely view of the golf course and the sea.
We had drinks in the hotel bar Which was very warm and friendly. The owner was friendly and very knowledgeable about the local area
Breakfast was Full Scottish and was delicious and plentiful.
I would gladly recommend this hotel to others. The owners are warm, friendly and helpful, and the room very comfortable.
Lovely resort stay with beautiful landscapes and gorgeous golf view with beach nearby. Enjoyed the calm and peaceful nature. Would love to stay there longer for my next visit. Delicious breakfast spread (made to order with various choices).
It is a hotel that is always used for business trips. The surroundings were particularly normal and the morning walk was comfortable. The bed was comfortable. The food is very good.

GGuest UserGreat budget motel with comfortable bed & facilities. Clean throughout. Although small it had everything we needed for a 3 night stay in Singapore. Even a small washing machine that freshened up our clothes. It dried in the room while we were out visiting the zoo.
Manual checkin & out via their phone at reception. Took some time but no problem.
GGuest UserEverthing was fine until I checked out in the morning, when the receptionist, told me I had an outstanding payment of £28 to pay, due to the fact that my card had been declined. I pointed out that payment was made to trip.com, using my debit card over a month ago, and that the payment had been taken from my bank. The receptionist then called the manager, who informed me that the hotel had not received payment, because my payment card had been declined, luckily I had the receipt, which was clearly marked as paid. I also said that my card could not have been declined, as payment had been debited from my bank account, they then said they woud look in to the situation, as trip.com had not paid them.
The whole situation was very disturbing, and therefore I will not be using trip.com again
JJIANYUNA little bit from the train station, so it is quieter. Looking at the sea, sitting in the hotel to see the sea, blue sky and white clouds, very beautiful. The breakfast was good, and the smoked salmon was more delicious than the traditional English breakfast at other hotels. After breakfast, I walked by the beach and saw the rainbow. I walked all the way and saw the rainbow changing. It was a surprise. Going to Scotland, recommending to Auburn, to Auburn, recommend this hotel.

GGuest UserI can't tell you about my stay as I booked the wrong dates. As soon as I found out, I phoned The Oyster Inn to cancel but because I used Trip.com, they said there was nothing they could do.
I cancelled on Trip.com and the message said that they'd contacted the hotel to confirm if it was ok to cancel FOC. According to trip.com, no response was forthcoming so my booking was not cancelled. My booking has since been ”completed”. When I contacted the hotel the following day to ask why they had not approved the cancellation, they said trip.com had simply asked for info, not to approve cancellation. Who is lying?
Suffice to say, I will not use trip.com again and have decided to stay elsewhere in Oban.
PPHYO PHYO WAI YANG YINGWe booked 2 rooms 1 night last minute booking. I got Junior suite for me & my husband. Room is very spacious for UK standard, sea view is very beautiful Seaview. The hotel has lift thats very good for travelers with many luggages.The room is a little cold so we switched on spare small heater which is warm enough. Their specialist amenities are very good. Whisky Honey. Oh.our room door isn't working, that's pretty scary.
GGuest UserGiven room 135 which is the last room at the far end corner. And the window is facing the back. Door to the room was small and the opening is facing the wall. Hardly any space to bring in the luggage. Also only one power point to charge. Should have book another cheaper accommodation near to it if known on the room given.
checkout time is 11am. At 9.30am the housekeeper opened our room door without knocking...
HHeong Siew YinIt is very centrally located with Tesco, M n S big supermarkets just round the corner 5 minutes walk away. Some Car park spaces in front good for free parking after 6 pm to 9 am. For cheapest whole day parking, 7.50 pound can be found near the ferry pier, about 7 mins walk from hotel. Easy access to all restaurants.
Reception is within the bar in Ranald Hotel with manned staff until 11pm.
Cons in room, water shower not consistent in temperature, no washing machine and room lightings can feel too dark. But maybe a lot of lightings in that area are like that…
But all in all will recommend. Comfortable.
GGuest UserLoch long Hotel could be a lot cleaner. However, what really spoiled my stay was UK.trip.com. After I .ade the booking trip.com announced that the booking could not be varied. Then a couple of days before the due date, another anouncement about a £50 up front payment.
