After returning from Shigatse, I chose the St. Regis Hotel again. My butler, Justin, arranged a courtyard room in the main building for me in advance. The room was more spacious, and the toiletries were Bvlgari. Everything was very comfortable. Thanks to the St. Regis and Justin, my trip to Tibet this time was very pleasant and comfortable.

This hotel was definitely out of our expectations. New and modern. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Airport drop off and pick up service is available 24/7. Literally just come to the reception and staff will arrange transportation immediately. No need to make any reservations. Hotel room was big and clean. Modern design with technology. All the amenities were well equipped. Comfortable bed to rest after your long journey and to get prepared for next day flight. Big big thumb up.

I booked a room with a Potala Palace view, and it truly felt like the entire palace was right in front of me – the view was absolutely perfect. The bedding was also very comfortable, and I slept wonderfully every night of my four-night stay. The facilities were comprehensive, with nasal oxygen equipment and a humidifier, both working well. The bathroom facilities were a bit basic, and there was a slight odor from the floor drain. Every night, fresh fruit and yogurt were delivered to the room; the yogurt was delicious. There's no private parking lot, so you have to walk about 100 meters, but the hotel reimburses the parking fee.

First of all, I really want to praise the owner. He was incredibly dedicated and responsible, and we were deeply moved. We stayed for three days, and on the last day we were going to do the pilgrimage around Mount Kailash. We overestimated ourselves, thinking we could finish the pilgrimage in one day. However, we didn't reach Zhire Monastery until 6:00 PM. Then, at noon, we contacted the owner to say we couldn't come down that day and asked if he could pack our things, cancel our reservation, and let us stay there after we finished the pilgrimage. I was amazed by the owner's generosity. He said it was no problem, it's the off-season, and he understood we couldn't finish the pilgrimage in one day, so he reserved the room for us. I was truly touched. However, due to our physical condition, we eventually had to call a rescue vehicle to come down; there was no way to rest on the mountain. This hotel is very clean and hygienic. The bathrooms have separate shower and toilet areas, which was very satisfying for us, as we are from the south. Oxygen cylinders are also available for rent in the hotel lobby. The parking lot is also very convenient. Our travel companions stayed at other hotels, but we ended up staying here because the cleanliness was excellent, the toiletries were comprehensive, the hairdryer was very good, and there was underfloor heating and an oxygen machine. I still wouldn't recommend staying in those teahouse-style accommodations.

This trip stayed at his house for three days. The boss and the couple were really good. I saw others saying that they were good in his comments. This time I really felt that I was over. The mats and pillows in the room were latex I like. It was really comfortable to live. Because there is no way to have a trip, so I can live for three days. If I have time, I want to live for a few days. I will definitely stay at his house next time. Very satisfied with everything, the best is the customer service, always answer all questions. Buy an oxygen tube for RMB 10/piece, and you can arrange an oxygen machine at the lobby bar to provide free oxygen. There were sanitary defects, cigarette butts were found, we don't smoke as a family, but it was acceptable, the sprinkler pipe leaked, and the water pressure increased after cleaning. Everything was cured by the warm customer service.

The hotel's location is excellent, and the front desk staff were very efficient with check-in. It's very close to Potala Palace, making it super convenient for getting around. All the staff were warm and welcoming, the room was clean and tidy, and the night view was fantastic. Guys, you can book this place with your eyes closed – I'd definitely come back if I have the chance!

A short walk to the left takes you to the Potala Palace, and to the right, you'll quickly reach Jokhang Temple. It's incredibly convenient whether you want to go for morning prayers or explore during the day. Downstairs, there's a supermarket and authentic ******* restaurants, so you don't have to go far for snacks, local specialties, or a quick meal. You won't need to stress about planning your routes, which is perfect for first-time visitors to Lhasa. The hotel's overall ambiance is quiet and elegant, with a strong, minimalist ******* aesthetic. There's no noise or commotion. The guest rooms have excellent natural light and ventilation, and come equipped with 24-hour oxygen supply. After a long journey to a high-altitude area, staying here meant no discomfort from oxygen deprivation, and I slept exceptionally well. Any requests during my stay were responded to promptly and willingly, and they patiently answered all my questions. They even offered hot water and oxygen tanks. When I checked out, they thoughtfully presented me with a local specialty souvenir. Their demeanor was gentle and sincere, with no hint of perfunctoriness. Overall, the location, living environment, hygiene, and service attitude were all impeccable. It offers excellent value for money. As it's the Year of the Horse, I wish every traveler to Lhasa a smooth journey. If I come to Lhasa again, I will definitely choose this hotel. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Lhasa!
