I was very tired when I arrived (a recurring theme when checking in) but, once again, the staff were helpful and I soon settled in for my five-night stay. The hotel is about half an hour in a car from Xining but the town in which it is located is rather charming with friendly locals. There is also the Tibetan Cultural Museum very nearby which is both interesting and well maintained. The Chinese breakfast is fresh and substantial and the rooms are super clean and comfortable. My only criticism is the lack of a/c in the room - it was still quite humid! Overall, a lovely traditional hotel that I would recommend. Thanks.

Fantastic location (within a pleasant short walk of Kumbum Monastery, several museums and the reservoir/lake). Sadly I didn't stay for breakfast as I had an early train to catch. The room had no AC but was most comfortable with the window open. A great bathroom, however the rainforest shower head is 193cm tall. My height! It has a strong flexible head too. Great WiFi. I stayed the previous night at a different hotel in the city and wished I'd stayed here first. There're plenty of dinner options by the lake and temple.

Very thoughtfully designed with Tibetan artifacts, nice, big and clean rooms. Bathroom is perfect as well.
The only "disappointment", having seen the rest of the hotel, was the breakfast, 100% Chinese, with dishes gone cold.

很有風格的酒店 環境還不錯！服務態度也很好！在離塔爾寺不遠 走路十幾分鍾到 停車很方便 就是吃飯不太方便 ！整體來説很棒

很滿意，價格實惠，房間也很乾凈，整體很寬敞舒適，房間裏的蓮花燈很好看，很有特色。房卡還是木牌，像古代的令牌

環境很不錯，服務也不錯，隔音有一點不好，離塔爾寺特別近，吃飯有點不方便。價格很優美哈哈，服務人員也很熱情
